My mom was uncovinced that comic con wasnt really a vacation type vacation because in order to park (where we want to) we have to be there at 8:30am and theres alot of walking and planning involved its not like you can just show up. What do you think is comic con a vacation for you? I consider it an adventure or a vacation you need a vacation from.

Well, I don't consider it a vacation, but I live in San Diego and work within walking distance of comic-con, so it's not out of my normal area.
It is very tiring! By the 3rd day I'm usually completely worn out, and take the 4th day off.

Hey, Hiro, I too live in AZ! It is my one guaranteed vacation of any sort every year. And when you have to use vacation hours from work to go, does that count? xp
But even if it is a lot of work to plan and drive, and it is very tiring, as long as you are happy, isn't that what vacations are for? Some people think relaxing getaway when they hear the word, and other people think it's a chance to do something you don't get to do, or whatever. As long as you enjoy it. biggrin

Thats cool Tenku! Glad i'm not the only Arizonan here. Any way, the exhaustion, the long walks, the waiting is a true test of stamina and strategy, if you can surivive four days, get as much swag/mercha s possible, and still be ready for the drive home then you succeed.
