i HATE school rules. 'cept for the ones that are pretty obvious like, "no cheating blah blah" i hate the irrational, unnecessary and stupid rules. but this year, they decided to implement new ones.
new rules: 1) haircut = boys: hair should not touch collar of shirt, bangs not touching eyebrows, hair not touching ears. girls: bangs not over the eyes, long hair should be tied. NO HAIR DYE.
now because of this new school rule, i had to dye my hair back to black today. i spent my summer job earnings just to dye it! D< and all the cute long haired guys have to cut their hair super short.
2) no electronic devices = except for phones, no ipods and all. even if class hours are over, if they catch you just carrying/bringing in your bag an ipod, they will confiscate it, and you can only get it back if your parents get it for you from the principal
3) no public displays of affection = this is understandable last year when kissing and holding hands was not allowed in school, but this year, there will be no hugging! even among friends, its strictly prohibited D:
i'm going to stop here before i explode with frustration i know rules are rules, but the 'no hugging' is just plain stupid sorry about the rant you guys, just wanted to let it all out ._.
what school/word rules do you not agree with?

Do you { know } what it's all about Are you brave enough to { figure } out A lot of schools are doing the no hugging rule, it is kind of dumb.
I know in my middle school we weren't allowed to wear flip flops, because they were a hazard because we might trip and fall.
:/
Here is a funny story from this year at my high school.
Kay, so in the morning I usually bring a coffee holder thing with coffee or tea to get me going. And I used to carry a backpack and just stick the thermos in a little side pockety thing, where it is still plainly visible. Recently, I got this big nightmare before christmas purse, and I decided that I would use that as my school supply carrier instead of a back pack. Now I have to carry my thermos thing now, which pretty much has the same effect of me putting it in the pocket on the back pack.
Alright, so I come to school one day, iPod on, talking to a friend, when this nazi of a special ed teacher, mrs ferrilli (I kid you not, even the other teachers call her a nazi and hate her) stops me and is all 'U CAN'T HAVE DAT EXCEPT IN CAFETERIA, DUMP IT OUT NOW' And I was like O.O because it is about 20 minutes before the first bell that signals the school day has begin rings, so I'm like wtf? So I say to her "Can I just put it in my bag and take it out at lunch, because it is halfway full and I don't want to waste it." So then she goes "OMG NO, YOU CANNOT DO THAT D:< MRS MASSELLAAAAA" (Who is the principal, and a very nasty piece of work) She comes over and is like "You can't put that in your bag cause it might spill, and we know you'll just pull it out again once you get around the corner."
Now I'm pissed.
What is it to them if something spills in MY bag? Nothing. If s**t like that happens, it is my fault, right? I shouldn't be protected from myself. :/ Also, why should she assume that I'm going to break whatever rule she is shoving in my face? I'm a generally good kid who listens and does what she is told to do, so I was pretty upset now and told her "You know this is the dumbest rule ever, the bell hasn't even rang yet and I really don't want to waste this. I can put it away and drink it at lunch, tons of kids bring in drinks to school every day."
So finally I went to the office, called my mom, gave the thermos to mr. levi, the vice principal, then left for my first period.
My mom yelled at mrs massella, which was hilarious. And I saw at least four other people that day with the same time of coffee things out ON THEIR DESKS. And none of the teachers cared at all.
:/
Sorry that was kind of long. Know that { you } could set your world on fire If you are strong enough to { leave } your doubts

Those rules are ridiculous. You should start a petition.
At my school, under a certain principal we had you were never allowed to have holes in your jeans. It was really dumb 'cause it wasn't hurting anybody. :/ I can understand banning some clothes as distractions, but really, when is a guy gonna see a girl with a hole in her jeans and think, "Mmmm, look at that little patch of skin on her leg. Oh, god, her knee is so hot, I just can't concentrate on my math work!" But we got a new principal and no one really cared any more.

Wtf?? Petition, Now. If the entire student body signs it and the admin doesn't do anything bout it.. take the problem to the higher ups in the education board. XD It's ridiculous!
