History: Abandoned by his Muggle parents as an infant, Judas was taken in by a very strict, rich, elderly wizard couple. They kept him inside and never allowed him to even see the light of day until he received his Hogwarts letter. Judas never knew anything about the outside world until he first went to King's Cross Station.

Diving deeper : Judas's shyness is often mistaken for coldness. He has a hard time approaching people and making friends. He often suffers panic attacks. He is quiet, polite, cunning, ambitious, intelligent, sometimes unkind, and is very hard to get to know. He wants to be less shy and come out of his shell some. He is homosexual. Taking a closer look : Judas looked slowly around the common room. He could feel his heart beginning to beat faster and his throat beginning to close, even though he still hadn't spoken to anyone. He backed quietly into a dark corner and observed people. Observations were enough for him. He'd take an observation over a conversation any day.
