Welcome Back. Back to the past. Its 1895, London, England, where girls are covered and groomed for homelife, men are dressed overly frilly and polite to woman (most) [OMG, we dont get that anymore] and Horses are the current mode of transprotation.
Yet theres more then meets the eye. In the slums, witches creep around the allys, mythical creatures yet to be descovered prowl, and a new world hides. Few are accepted to the accadamy here along the lonly 13th West St., and even fewer are human. Join the new adventure, and have fun.

*Dances as she posts her profile*

Name: Aex
Age: 221 (Looks around 16)
Breed: Red Dragon
Appearance: Human- He appears like that of a 16 year old male, body lean and built for speed and an average amount of power. His hair was a shock of firy red, styled in short spikes atop his head. Molten gold was the color of his eyes, blazing with inner intensity. His complexion is a healthy bronze, with all evidence showing it a natural skin tone for him.
Dragon- On the rare occasion of him showing his true form to anyone, he appears as a large reptile, about the size of a horse. Only 2 centuries old, he's still got several centuries before fully maturing. His scales, though still developing, still have the quality of most dragon scales--nearly indestructible and excessively resilient to his own element. They're warm to the touch, a bright red that makes it seem like they glow with the heat. As his mood changes, so does the temperature of his scales. A rusty orange color is the membranes between the finger-joints of his wings, and also the spikes that travel down his spine and the fins protecting his ear-holes.
Bio: He left his flight at a young age, implored by the elders to investigate the humans and learn more about them. A scholarly dragon, though with a short temper and a rather explosive personality, he's fairly easy to get along with. Rarely ever is he found in his true form, finding its bulk very unnecessary and hindering on his quest for knowledge. He rarely talks to people, simply because he's too afraid of revealing his identity as one of the Redwing Flight. The brood wasn't well-liked, especially not among mythical creatures, for the dragons of the flight were known for their violence and tendency to enjoy greatly injuring others, usually in large groups. Pride was a common trait among the red dragons, bold from knowing they wield one of the most destructive elements on the planet: Fire. Aex tends to keep that a secret, only using it in small doses or at least when he's certain he's alone, unless the situation calls for action.

Name: Primrose
Age: ((252)) Looks 16 also

She can take shape any beast, or animal, and is rather good at magic. Her eyes turn a sharp gade-gold mixture
Bio: Primrose was born in what is now Minnesota. She was part of a witch clan, but was supposidly suppose to be exicuted in the Salem Witch trail, but for some odd reson, desapierd from her cell.

-Rockes out geekily by herself-

Name- Runaway (Real Name Unknown)
Age- 15 Human years
Breed- Orical
Appearance-
User Image
Bio- She was on only child. Spoiled by her Mother, and fearful of her Father, because he was addicted. Addicted to alchohol. He would beat her mother and her for hours before passing out. Mother claimed it was a faise. One day her Mother was out getting a new dress. Her Father came home early. She was in her sundays best when he tromped to her room.
"Why the blast didn't you greet me when I came home you worthless tramp?!" He yelled. Swinging his hand to slap her, his palm cupped, and her missed her cheek, but smashed her ear instead. The sheer force of the blow demolished her Right eardrum, and she went deff. In a flurry of teal silk, she dodged around him with the only thing in her pocket a fan, and took off out the door. There was only one solidary place everyone would not look for her.
The Slums.
Running, something happened to her inturnaly, and she passed out. Visions of the most horrifying creatures danced infront of her closed eyes, and minnutes later she awoke. Scared stiff, she fears her Father, and anything that would harm her. Taking off into the ally, she took up the life as a skinny, unfit begger unaware she too had a power.

Aex turned down another alley, glancing at a piece of paper held tightly in his hand. He frowned, trying to read the sad scribbling on the old paper. The ink was smeared, the handwriting atrocious, and written so thickly the letters were almost illegible. He sighed, running a hand through his spikes. Frustration was clear on his face as he looked up and down. There was an Academy... Somewhere. Or there was supposed to be. But so far, he'd had no luck in finding it, and he had too much pride to seek guidance from one of the bums in the area.
Straightening his gray jacket and red scarf-tie, he decided to continue his search, molten eyes blazing.

((PARTY!!! >:3...Maco, Mau's going to be in this rp, if thats alright)

Primrose waltz down the street, basket in hand. Her long fitted dress swished around her ankles, while she roamed freely on her own accord. She trotted down a nearby alley, glanceing intently to figure out her surroundings. Rose watched as a black cat scurried out from behind a crate. A loud screetch sounded from up above, and the girl swiftly glared up at the sky, before pressing her thumbs to her perfect lips. A sweet whisle broke the silence of the alley. Suddenly a large tawny bird swooped down from the heavens. In response, the girl exstented her arm so that the great falcon could land unscathed on her limb.
"Well, well...what a pleasent surprize. What are you doing here Mau? I told you not to follow me." The bird cocked it's head to the side, and shuffled it's feathers to reposition it's self, so that it sat nimbly on her shoulder.
"Well? I'm waiting" Rose snapped, her patience running low. The falcon did not open it's beak, but a voice entered Primrose's head.
"It can't be helped. I have been sent by Drosselmeyer to keep an eye on our fellow kind." The voice was aged and rough. The girl snorted and began walking at a fast pace, annoyed by the birds presence.
"No need to watch me, I am perfectly capable to not get noticed by humans. You may recide now, go tell the counsil I'm safe, and fitting in quite well." She marched angerly further down into the long alley.
"Maybe I stopped by to say hullo? ((Ps, Mau is brittish))It's rather rude to shoo me off so soon." I glared at him with my good eye.
"Oh cripes, don't start with me." The sage voice sighed. She turned away, but sadly lose balanced, and bumped into something hard. She looked up under her laches. Thats when she relized she had bumped into a man whereing a gray jacket. This man was rather peculiar.
"Pardon me" Rose said sweetly.

Aex snapped his orange gaze to the girl, teeth baring slightly with a quiet growl. His temper flared, causing the air around him to heat up. Then he took in a deep breath. Mustn't cause a stir... He's here to learn. Calmly, he swept his hand through his red spikes, then looked at the girl again.
"It's no problem, madam..." He paused, looking at the crumbled paper in his hand. "Oh--would you possibly be able to direct me to.."
He paused, squinting at the paper. The ink was unreadable by now, especially with his little fit of heat. He sighed, trashing the paper and tossing it into a nearby barrel.
"I'm looking for an Academy." He said simply. "I think it was somewhere around here, but I've been going about in circles the entire time. I'm losing patience and getting excruciatingly hungry. Would you be able to direct me to a place where I can purchase...Food?"

((Whats the academy's name? MACO-CHAN! T^T You forgot to put it's name in!))

Primrose widened her sapphire eye at the man. He suddenly seemed furious, which put her in somewhat of a state of shock.. Mau inclined his head towards her but said nothing.
She herself was looking for a Academy, a special Academy for her kind. A feeling prickled along Rose’s spine. This boy did not seem natural at all. His eyes and hair were a strange color shade.
“I beg your pardon sir, but what Academy are you seeking?” Mau ruffled his feathers and glowered at her with his perplex golden slit-eyes. A voice entered her head one more.
“Are you searching something of the same entity Primrose?”

She completely dodged my question... Nosy little rodent... Aex narrowed his eyes, the golden color burning fiercely.
"That, my dear.. Is none of your business." He growled. "I asked for someplace to find food."
He glanced at the bird, sneering. Then he pushed passed the two, the air around him smoldering with his own pent up frustrations.

Primrose blushed scarlet. She was embarrassed, but it was nothing for the man to get livid about.
“I’m truly sorry, there is a nice restaurant little ways down the street. Now, I have answered you question, and in return, I would like you to answer mine. What Academy are you searching for? It just so happens that I am hunting for an Academy myself.” Mau’s tone bellowed in Rose’s head.
“What Academy?” The old voice was angry.
“It’s none of your business Mau, butt out! I’m tiered of you always stalking me.”
She turned back to the flabbergast man. Uh-oh, she had forgotten that Mau’s voice only entered her rage of thought.

Aex forced himself to calm down, taking in several deep breaths. He kept his back to the girl until he was certain he wouldn't set the street on fire.
"I can't remember what it's called. Some Academy on the 13th West Street." He replied, voice clipped.
His molten gaze roved over the falcon. At least his suspicions were confirmed by the girl's aloud reply...to something he couldn't hear. He could sense the bird wasn't all as it seemed. A small fang poked from his lips as he grinned.
"You say you're looking for an Academy as well?" He asked, looking back to the girl as he crossed his arms over his chest. "You don't look like much. Surely couldn't be the same place."
PostPosted: Mon Jun 16, 2008 6:57 pm

((hey, Can I curse?))

Smart a** b*****d. She narrowed her good eye on the lone fram of the man.
"You best watch your mouth boy, things may not look like what they seem." Primrose retorted. She yerned to punch something. Funny, she thought. Usually Rose wasn't such a violent person.
"Rose, calm down" She glared at the bird intently but said nothing. The boy obviously noticed something. Rose took deep calming breaths before glowering at the boy again.
"To tell the truth, you don't look like much yourself."
"Dammit Rose," Mau growled, "Drosselmeyer wont like this" Prim bit her lip to stop herself from tackling and yelling at the falcon.

"Looks can be deceiving, street-rat." Aex snorted. "Like your bird-friend there. Surely he's not -just- a bird. Otherwise you wouldn't keep talking to him. Like that's normal."
Though he looked calm enough, the air around him shimmered with heat. He narrowed his molten eyes, teeth baring in a vicious grin. Then he turned away and continued walking. No sense in angering the elders so early in his quest. He came for knowledge. Not to make ignorant little girls eat their words.
PostPosted: Mon Jun 16, 2008 7:17 pm

Shocked, Primrose unthinkingly reached for the boys shirt. She grabbed a fistful and tripped over her own feet.
"Street-rat?" She echoed in a octiv higher. "So what exactly are you then? My name is Primrose, I'm a bodythief. This here is my friend Mau, also a body thief. So...what makes you so great?"

Before he could stop himself, he snarled, teeth baring. Bright red scales appeared on his hands and along his cheeks, flames flickering around his sharper-than-normal teeth. Quickly, he composed himself, swatting the girl's hand away.
"I'm a dragon, child. Of the Redwing Flight." He hissed, pupils becoming dangerous slits in their golden pools. "And you'd do well to never touch me again unless you want those pretty little hands burned from your body."
Without another word, he turned once more and went on his way. Food was a priority now. He couldn't let another outburst like that jeopardize his charge.
