*hugs Bestmom* Ghost is right hun. Raising you kids to be independent and go on their own one day is what parenting is about, and this means you've done your job. And, despite the distance, this can actually be a chance to become closer to her, since you'll appreciate the time you do get to talk or spend time together even more.

It will be alright.
I, on the other hand, still live with my parents sweatdrop . I have nowhere to go. At least nowhere where I wouldn't just become an hermit and never talk to anyone about anything that wasn't work related.

I know i'm never around buy ... hi! I just recently got my own place ... about 3 monthes ago, and i am soooo happy on my own. I know your daughter will be okay.
So... she really isn't on her own --- just not with you? What was the point of that? I don't think you have any reason to worry, and i'm sure her dad will take of her when she needs it. She's an adult and will learn new things, some may not be easy lessons, but she will be okay.

I can say from experience, that although it didn't work out as I hoped, moving out was one of the best experiences I've had to day. I moved, about 750 miles away with nothing more than what I could carry in my suitcases on a train, and brought the rest with me during a couple trips home. I moved in with my best friend ever and her husband, and it was great being there. I loved it, despite the occasional snag here or there. It ended up not working out though because the job I had kept cutting my hours (which is crappy cus they KNEW I was trying to get a place of my own x.x), and I had a very hard time finding something else that would have paid better. In the end, I had to come back home, and move back in with the parents... but! It hasn't been all bad, I have a better understanding now of how hard it is to make ends meet and really be an "adult" about things.

Just remember that no matter how old they get, they'll still be your baby. Yes, you'll miss and worry bout them which is natural. They'll always have a place in your heart. Moving away from home isn't that easy tho.
