"You're actually on time for once Miss. Rivers." The manager said as Makayla ran into the back door to ego trippin'. "Maybe my little threat about not paying you will actually get you to smarten up about your lateness."
"Yes Mr.Jones." She said with a shaky smile, wiping away her tears before she took off her leather jacket and hung it up. "Am I watressing or singing tonight?"
"Singing, so get ready, you're on in five minutes." The manager said before he went up the stairs to his office.
Makayla let out a small noise before she went to her normal dressing table and redid her make up so it didn't look like it was running. As she smoothed her hair and stood up, a stage hand came back stage to tell her she was on soon. "Ok thanks." She said, moving past the stage hand and going up on stage, where all the men in the club started to whistle when they saw her. With a smile, Makayla took the mic and started to sing from her normal set, starting with 'Going Under' by Evenescence.

Danny was sitting right in front, he had changed into the suit....the suit he was wearing when he proposed to her. He was humming the song along with her. He ordered the drink he'd always drink, a drink entirely unique to Danny, one he invented, Vodka and pink lemonade kool-aid, lit on fire. He blows the fire out and raises his glass to Makayla.

Makayla's eyes fell onto Danny and she faltered in her song, but quickly recovered. She started to move, making sure she didn't lock eyes with him again. 'He isn't real.' she thought to herself while she bent low towards a group of guys and sang the bridge to them. 'Danny is dead, this guy is just playing some sick twisted joke.'

I'm not effing dead...well I was, but not anymore.....hey cool....our mindlink still works....do you have any idea how long four years is in hell? It's gonna take one of your extra-special massages to make me feel better after all that.....look, I don't know why I'm alive, but I am, and I love you......and I'll always love you....til the end of the world Makayla hears in her mind.... Danny used to tell her that every night before they went to sleep.... Danny finishes his drink and starts to walk away dejectedly...

"I'm going und-" Makayla was just about finished her song when she heard Danny's voice and stopped singing. Her eyes widened then turned her head to look at him while he was leaving the club. "WAIT!" she shouted before she dropped the mic and jumped off the stage. "Wait!"

Makayla pushed through the crowd, ignoring them as they shouted for her to continue to sing. When she reached Danny, she looked up at him, tears brimming her eyes. "It's....Really you?" She whispered softly, raising a shaking hand up to take off his mask. "Danny?"

Makayla gasped before she back handed him. "Jerk! I thought you were dead!" She yelled angrily then threw his mask away and attacked him, wrapping her arms around his neck while she planted a long, deep kiss on his lips.

"Give it up for the Ugly Guy!!!!!!" says a member of the audience, they start applauding but Danny doesnt hear, he just kisses Makayla back just as deeply. He breaks the kiss for just a moment.
Didn't have to slap me....I got here as fast as I could..... says Danny.

"You know, there is a little thing called a computer. You could have looked up my name...I am listed you know." Makayla said putting her hands on her hips and popping out her leg to show that she was annoyed. "I was really upset Danny."

Sweety, I can barely work a damn remote. You think I wasn't upset? I was in hell for four years! says Danny.
"START MAKING OUT AGAIN! GRAB HER BOOB! OH s**t MY ARM IS ON FIRE" says the same guy from before. Danny chuckles.
Maybe I did it and maybe I didn't he says, flashing the devilish smirk that always got Makayla worked up.

Makayla giggled, blushing and looking at her feet. "Hey do you want to get out of here?" She asked, knowing full well that she would probably be fired for leaving when she was suppose to be working. "We could go back to my apartment."

The manager attempted to berate Makayla but in a flash he is picked up off of the floor by his shirt collar.
Okay bonesmoker, this little lady is going home for the night....in fact what I have planned for her she may need a few days off.....She makes her own hours now....how much do you pay her an hour? says Danny. The man starts stuttering nervously.
Thats not enough, add ten bucks to that and thats what she makes an hour now.....now go to your office, get a change of pants, and thank god I didnt just pimpsmack your face off says Danny, the man nods and Danny sets him down. Danny clears his throat and throws Makayla over his shoulder.
Where too, milady? asks Danny.
