Contains spoilers for Boiling Rock
Okay, so I know there are a lot of...um...differing opinions on Azula in this fandom, to say the least. I just wanted to know what people think and why they think as they do.
Personally, I love Azula. Yeah, she's power-hungry and bitchy and cruel. But you know, you've got to give the villains props where props are due. You can always tell the good movies/shows/books/whatever from the kiddie ones by how good their villains are. But what's most important about Azula is that she's got character depth. I'm talking about the little things, like her drive to be perfect as well as the tiny glints of caring in "The Beach." Then there's the fact that with the betrayal of Mai and Ty Lee, things she's seen as absolutes are slipping out from under her, and she doesn't know how to react if the finale trailer is any clue. I think she's fascinating.
So yep, there's my character study for the day. I'd be happy to hear yours. heart

Like her brother, Azula also has nice character developement [although nowhere near as vast as Zuko's]
Although i hate that she's always ruining things for the Gaang and treating ppl like crap, she's GREAT at what she does.
I enjoyed seeing her weak side in the Beach; i'm interested to see how she deals w/o mai and ty lee. will she release them from prison and try to keep them by her side? or will she forget their sorry lives and move on?
I like Azula as a villian, just not very much as a person. I do give her props though

Cruel, cold, intelligent, calculating, and ambitious to a T. A woman after my own heart i would have to say rofl . But in all honesty Azula is a fantastic charecter and puts all but the greatest television villians to shame. I think we can expect to see much, much more from her in the future.

Well it is hard to say, some ep. i like her and others i dont. although i have to say the show wouldnt have been the same with out her....even though she didnt come in till later. (i wonder what happened to her after the mental break down)

I love Azula.
She was one of the best villains ever. The fact that she was a princess just stepped it up a notch. I love how she manipulates people. She's my role model (minusthegoingcrazypart).
