I don't know if some of you notice, but on all american broacast channels are marking that in 2009 that they will only have that company be shown on digital tv, it will no longer work on cable.
I know i don't live in USA, but i do receive those channels too, like Peachtree TV and FOX and other channels that i watch. But i'm still hooked on Cable, and i plan to stay on Cable too, i don't want digital, too many buttons and to pay for stuff i don't even watch, the price different is too big to switch to digital.
But, in 2009, What? i'll only be able to watch Canadian and French Broadcast networks?
which means i'll have channels....

4- TWN (the weather network)
5- Rogers Preview channel
6- Global
7- CTV
8- CTV
9- Shopping Channel
10-Rogers TV English
11- Radio-Canada

13- CTV (yeah i know it's a lot of the same network)

36- Discovery

I won't be missing a whole lot, but there's a lot of those that i listed that i never watch. But i will be missing 7 networks i like and in the list i just made there's 15 out of 35 that i do watch. sad
What do you feel about the situation?

i got the digital cable i think. i don't know. all i know is that i can watch tv that's good enough. plus why do they want to change tv for us. it's just stupid.

you do have digital cauz terry can order channels. I can't do that with mine.

yeah i don't know why they all want every single person that has cable to switch to digital. it's kinda stupid. the cost of it too.

I mean i would be able to afford digital, but i just don't see the point. Plus Aliant started to have cable and are placing it from city to city, it's not yet in Moncton or Miramichi, but as soon as it hits the chi, i'm switching with aliant instead of Rogers. The only reason my tv is not with Aliant right now is cauz they only have digital. sweatdrop
