Okaay:

Does anyone have any idea how long Jonathan Davis has had his eyebrow peirced?
It seems like hes had them forevver and they still havent gotten rejected. or maybe they did and he redid them?

Ive been thinking for many many months about getting my eyebrow done but im afraid of rejection too soon.
Any tips on eyebrow/facial peircings?

&& What peircings do you guys have?

All I know is that he's had them since the late 80's, early 90's - his ex-girlfriend did them for him. As for rejection, maybe he's just the lucky type and he's been adhering to the aftercare thing so it never got infected. Also, I noticed that one stage in like 2001, 2002; he replaced the rings with bars for a bit..

I say, do your research about piercers first, don't settle on price/cheapness - research their reputation. Same goes for tattoo artists. And when you get it done, ask throughly about aftercare from your piercer. Do that saltwater soaking thing for about a month straight after you get it done and make sure you don't constantly play with it xD.

As for piercings on me, I have 2 basic cartillage (1 ring, 1 bar) on my left ear - the bar got taken out at Korn though, so I have to get it redone. And on my right ear I have a 12 gauge industrial 3nodding , oh omg I love it so - even though maintenance can be a b***h (but worth it) and moshpits are a greater hazard at times (bled at Korn xD).

oh okay
thank you thank you

yeah i have been deciding for a long long time about this and im kinda nervous since eyebrow peircings reject alot
but i know that if i get it i will probably love it so much that i would take very good care of it.
i read that curved barbells usually help it not reject
but if JD has rings and they lasted so long, that makes me wonder. haha.

i dont have gauges but they are pretty cool i think.

i was thinking about another cartlidge or even gauge but i wanted a face peircing because they can bring out features.
im kinda freaked though because i think that if i was to rough and something happend to my eyebrow peircing it would definitely come out or something :/

No problem!

Start with a barbell first for yuor eyebrow piercing then, it's more stable and easier to clean 3nodding

okaay thank you thank you.

one more question [for now]
do you know if im going to have to have a parental guardian there or just an adult?

because at the moment i dont live with either of my parents. and im not like close to my dad so i wouldnt feel comfortable asking him.
and my mom said she would a few months ago but i dont get along with her and theres been alot of problems lately with me and her so i dont want to ask her to take me.
but i have a 19 year old brother so could he sign or whatever for me?

I'm not sure about the age restrictions regarding piercings/tattoos over where you live, but I do know is that here (in Australia) if you're over 18, you can get it without parental consent.

And yeah I reckon your brother can act as your adult guardian in this instance, I know that's allowed here. If not, you can always forge a note wink . One tip I know that works as well is not to act like you're underage - if you look over 18 they probably won't even ask you for ID xD.

My mom said she would let me get my eyebrow pierced if i got baptized the first time i asked her. that was over a half a year ago so she forgot she said that, but she was totally serious!

i still havent gotten my eyebrow done though, everytime i talk to my mom we get in a fight :[

my dad is okay with me getting it but im not gonna ask him to sign the paper and take me because im shy about asking my dad stuff.

i know my g-parents are gonna s**t bricks
i dont know why old people hate piercings so much.

It seems like Jonathon has had it ever since KoRn started.

Well if you do get a piercing you should clean it two times a day. And not try to take it out until after 6-7 weeks

I have two piercings in each ear, 1 cartilage, and my lip. I'm wanting to gauge my ears to at least the same size my lip is,it's either a 14 or a 12, either way it's not big.

Wow getting baptized over a piercing? Thats a bit too extreme for me.
My grandma didn't like mine when I first got it,but she's gotten used to it.
I don't know why old people don't like them either maybe it's just too strange or too much to comprehend.

I think they hate piercings because in their era, body modification was outside the social norm. Our generation getting piercings denotes that "we are not normal" for our parents and grandparents, it's as if we've deviated in some form - like they've failed as a parent or somethng, so they get angry.

All that aside, my parents are used to me now - took them awhile though razz

Lol all I've got is an ear piercing. When I'm older I plan to pierce my nose and other ear. I also wanna get em gaged to about 10.

I agree.
It took me a while to talk my mom into letting me get it,that and I had to earn it.
She didn't approve at first because I was 14 when I got it, but she grew used to it and started to like it a week after I got it
she even thought about getting one but didn't xD
