Okay, so you've all seen the Daily Gaia announcement where the Gaia staff finally is paying attention to the community and some of its groups.
I personally think it's awesome, but there's one thing I want to see...
Daily Gaia:The GCD Gift-Giving Bonanza (Guild?)!
We must go public!
Ah, anyway, no spoons! However, I'll gladly give you two napkins and some markers. Go scrawl your opinions on them.
Like the announcement idea?
Do you want to see the GCD Gift-Giving Bonanza (and perhaps our guild) as a topic of Daily Gaia one day?

That would be super neat! Just think of all the new members we would get, though -- the guild would probably be so active it'd be overwhelming!

I think if we got an announcement, it would be awesome...but I also see the negative side of being spammed by a ton of users and users who would beg constantly.

I can agree that it would be a double-edged sword. We the dedicated Bonanza-ers would have to be very vigilant so as not to allow begging and remove and/or reeducate all beggars as to our Guild "NO BEGGING" policy. It'd still be awesome, though!

Gatta Forte I can agree that it would be a double-edged sword. We the dedicated Bonanza-ers would have to be very vigilant so as not to allow begging and remove and/or reeducate all beggars as to our Guild "NO BEGGING" policy. It'd still be awesome, though! I would actually have to put my mod powers to use? xD It would be cool to get some new faces, but does anyone know how you get in one of those?

Hmm, that's a good point! I think maybe someone on the staff just chooses them randomly! Or maybe there's a whole sort of judging system? Either way, I don't think there's a way of nominating a group or anything like that.

I think it would be cool the be on the daily gaia thing but I agree with the downside of getting a bunch of sniffling beggers. haha

They would join and beg, and when they get the hint that they aren't getting anything for free, they'll be like "BUT YOU SAID THIS WAS A GIFT GIVING GUILD?!?!?! -goes into a Casteor-esque tantrum"
