Turns out Lex Luthor bequeathed the Yatta! guild onto me without me even knowing it. Now I have no idea what to do with it... sweatdrop
Should I keep it as it is?
Should I sell it?
Should I hand the ownership off to someone else?
Any and all advice appreciated. I really don't have the time to pump two guilds up as it is...

Well I love Rping as the anime characters, it's just I haven't had much personal time lately. I'd love to see this guild kept, it's the only place I've been able to find a decent conversation about anime.

I''d love to see Yatta live again. To that end, I have an idea, sort of.
Get three Crew members to each take one page of the memberlist, and PM everyone on their page (or more likely, the handlers of same) saying that Yatta will be taking on a more active existance, and anyone who doesn''t maintain regular participation in the Guild will be asked to leave to open up that character''s spot.
You could even get people to chip in to buy the Yatta mule from his or her handler, and have a thread listing available characters. Is the three mule maximum in effect in Yatta? If not, I propose we take a vote on introducing it.

I also think you should retain ownership of the Guild, Wallace. You''re a good Captain. 3nodding If you don''t have the time to spare two Guilds, you could always delegate.

I''m all for that Pete, all parts of it. I think that we have to look at ways of attracting capable and serious rpers. Not that there aren''t alot of good rpers in the guild, it''s just that if you start advertising or doing a casting call (which Sorce suggested to me and I think is an excellent idea), you want to weed out the non committal and the idiots. Everyone and their dog is calling their roleplaying guilds "literate rps", which in most cases is absolute bullshit. The guild captain guild is a venue that we can explore for advertising as it is one of the few venues that allow guild advertisement. The question is of course how we would conduct casting calls for open accounts or even just characters we want around or don''t have. Do some kind of American Idol rip off in Barton? I''m down for having some kind of one on one audition process being judged by the crew. "Hi, I''m Blacktalon66532 and I''m here to audition for the part of Edward Elric."
And one thing though, PMing the mules may be problematic because alot of handlers likely do not log into their mules on a regular basis. I think if the crew collaborates on a master list of handlers (Wally probably has a mean one already), we could do it alot more efficiently and get better results.

I do have a list though it's slightly out of date.
My biggest problem with all of this is that the responsibility of doing it now falls SQUARELY in my lap, and I just don't have the TIME to cahjole and beg people to join a guild I never wanted in the first place.
