Well, we all know you have items you're Questing for. Here's where to put what you want.
I know I'm questing for two fire gauntlets and a dark cape, the cape is iffy though.
And as for the staff, I'm also debating getting something else.
So:

Hm... I've been going for an Ancient Katana (ever sense I started gaia and before the price skyrocketed), Chyaku Norisu Scarf, Doll Ears, and Angelic Sash. My exboyfried had an Ancient Katana and quit getting on gaia, so I asked him for it. He didn't let me have it because he's still mad that I broke up with him. That was like 9 months ago... stare ... >.<
