Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps [demongirl009, KingAce101, My_Deepest_Regret]Ever had an unforgettable memory at a drill meet? I wanna hear it =)) For me drill meets are the heart of all competitive teams, it's what we train for, it's why we're here. My favorite part? The memories made, the pressure of running from one drill pad to the next, compeating for 4 diffrent teams, and [perhaps everyone's favorite] bringing home those beautiful trophies whee I'm already pumped for next year, our first drill meet is at the end of September♥♥

seeing all the lesser teams. and kicking their asses. or maybe when one of our rifle men spin a rifle into the side of their head on the drill pad, while keeping their bearing and picking it up and starting over again... thats pretty great. and also for one catagory after another asking us to come get our trophies, thats pretty BA too.

I love the rush you get from it.
Last drill competition, since we live so far away, we arrived late and had five minutes to get on the drill floor.
So we had to change from civilian clothes into dress blues.
Then after that we had five minutes to change from blues to greens.
Then after that we had five minutes to change from greens to blues.
It was pretty exciting.
Then after that, we could settle down 'cause my colorguard wasn't schedualed to go untill 2:30. =D

Me, I just can't get enough of th rush of being on the drill deck, spinning the rifle shape around, all the sweet manuvers we do, and of course, freaking out and throwing all dignity out the window when you win a trophy!
Then of course there's when we all get bored and start drawing on the chalkboard of the classroom we're in. One time--it was our team commander's brithday--we had some whipped cream, and out commander was asleep, so I went ahead and pulled the old (yet funny) cream-in-hand-tickle-face prank. He looke hilarious!
*lol* Yup, I love drill competitions. smile

Aww.
The first time I commanded a colorguard at a competition I thought I was going to go insane.
I was so nervous.
But I did it.
And I got second place.
The video's on my myspace if you wanna watch.
I remember the first drill competiton we had to do an Army colorguard.
And it was so different from the Marine style.

We all kinda just yelled until we lost our voices then yelled some more because its like the biggest drill meet of the year. She should not have ran of. I would have just played it by ear rather then running off without reporting out with the American flag and just leaving the color guard to stand there and look like idiots.
That is a good picture. I think I should do a picture on monday after rifle team with my dress coat and combo cover.

Aw.
For all the competitons we've done, we've never did that one.
But.
There's this girl, who I really dislike, who's a first year and is commanding a colorguard on the 4th.
Which I fought against, but she wanted to do it since she's a seinor.
She has NO idea what she's doing.
And if she messes up, she'll do what your American flag did.
No joke.
I wonder what our Instructor was thinking.
Aw, we didn't have a rifle team this year.
And if we did, I wouldn't be on it. My shooting sucks. xD
Aww, thanks.
We're not supposed to wear ribbions on our digis, but he said we could that day.
So I did.
I really don't like my smile.

Thats ok she will learn from her mistakes.
Our rifle team is going to NRA nationals so we are shooting when ever we can. We go to Iowa on the 24th.
Last year I was a freshmen and I was the only person that knew that you don't put ribbions on khakis. So they made us until I whiped out the hand book.
Why don't you like your smile that is a great picture!

Yeah.
She's power hungry.
And she's only a Sergeant.
Well, my freshmen year, last year; our instructor let us because only like, fifteen people got dress blues.
Then this year we got this new guy.
And everything changed.
But hey, you have any other messenger besides AIM we could possibly chat on?
I don't remember my password for AIM. ><
Really? Thaaanks. =DD
