Mundus - Easy/Medium

Mundus' final appearance is nothing short of a laugh. Just beat him for a few seconds and he'll be done. Then watch the cool cg, go into devil mode and shoot him with Ebony and Ivory, and watch it all come down. Use Ifrit's Inferno to do the most damage; basically by jumping straight up next to the boss and coming straight down.

You are under a time limit. If you cannot kill Mundus before he backs Dante against the wall, you die instantly. Use the Grenade Gun to charge Devil Trigger as fast as possible. After the cut-scene that occurs, use the Grenade Gun to build Devil Trigger (or if you have the ability to do Devil Trigger) and go into Devil Trigger, equip the Pistols and fire. Game over. well, almost. Before you do, let's hope you have some life left - what ever life Dante has will be what the plane has in the next sequence. Use a Vital Star if you need to.

In the plane sequence, you carry your life over from the previous fight, so try to avoid touching walls (especially on DMD). You have infinite bullets and you can fire using the Square or Cross button.

Use the plane's guns to destroy the thin columns that bar your way. There are thicker columns that cannot be destroyed, so try to steer around those if possible. If you die in the plane, you will need to replay the level (that includes beating the timer). Get out alive, and you finish the mission and the game!
