You are in a path filled with mist. Kill all monsters in this area before examining the tombstone, or you may get lost. Examining the tombstone will create a floating light that you need to follow. If you don't take the path the light goes down, you will restart the stage automatically. The light is attracted to any enemies nearby and only by killing that enemy can you free the light to show you which path you need to take.

If the light runs away from Dante, you can still make the right choice if you know which path it headed down. Going through the wrong path will put Dante back in the first part of the section. When you reach a new section, kill all the enemies that the light hides in and simply make for the path that the light goes for to leave.

On Normal, the first section is haunted by Marionettes and Fetishes, the second section has Blades, and the third (and last) section is populated by Sin Scythes.

When Dante reaches a courtyard guarded by two Kyclops, killing them will open the exit. Don't miss the green stones and the item before you end the stage!
