If only they knew.. Kennan seemed to be just a tidy and kind young man. Someone trustworthy... Someone with the powers of dragons, changing in half one at will.
He grinned lightly as he stepped through the gate. This school really was more beautiful than he had imagened. He hopefully would learn a lot here. A lot.. about those who ran the school. A lot about them who he could simply learn to dislike. Hell.. he actually liked this little job. If only they knew that he was a Triad-guy, all right, he may have only recently joined the gang of bastards, but that didn't mean he wouldn't be loyal to them.
And if he wanted to leave the school here.. he'd probably just eat someone. Humans did indeed taste delicious....
Not that anyone would find out. He would be a model student. The best one there was. Someone likable...

Jessi had accidentally jumped backwards into the new guy who just entered through the gates. She was running to catch a frisbee someone had thrown and had jumped to catch it....missing it by a mile and causing someone else pain. Or so she thought anyway.

Kennan had only barely noticed Jessi before she bumped into him. He jumped up to catch the frisbee and with his other hand he made sure Jessi would not fall over. Ah.. he was one skillful half-dragon, even if he was in his human appearance now. He looked down at the girl, for he was very tall.
"Are you all right?" He asked her kindly, handing her the frisbee back. "Watch out where you're going next time, all right?"
Hmm.. This girl probably was a student here? Maybe he could ask her where to go. He had to store his suitcase in some room right?
"If it's not too much to ask. Would you be kind enough to tell me where to go? I signed up as a student already by phone, but I have not visited here before." He told Jessi.
Ah.. he was so polite. A polite half-dragon who ate humans. All right, all right, he only ate them once in a while... But that didn't mean he couldn't be a model student. If that was his job of course... he could also be extremely short-tempered. Gladly for Jessi who had bumped into him, he was in an extremely good mood today.

Jessi bowed in front of him. "I am so sorry for bumping into you. Guess I wasn't looking where I was running." She straightened up and laughed a little. She then noticed how tall he was. "Wow you sure are tall! O-Oh yeah! A-A room, sure thing. Right this way!" She quickly threw back the frisbee and yelled to the other kids that she had to help the new kid. They waved bye and continued playing their game. "So, you're a new student here huh? Well then, welcome to Haven! My name's Jessi." She had one of the most purest smiles on.

"How many retarded people can they fit in this retarded school..." Came the reply from Armitage...a seemingly rude comment, but for Armitage, something like that was normal. She had only been here a week and she was already irritated with most of the students. They would all run around and frolic happily, living in their own little retarded world. It gave Armitage a headache sometimes, but then she just dismissed them as being retarded, and didn't think a second thought about it. Already she didn't really have many friends...not like people didn't try, she just didn't like making friends with people she thought were stupid...which encompassed half the school's residents. So far the only one who'd been able to fully understand any logic and explanation Armitage could come up with was that ten year old teacher, and she could go further still and leave Armitage lost in a topic with her own intelligence. "At this rate, we'll have to have people sleeping outside before long..."
The only reason Armitage was even present was because she wanted to read a book, but found it annoying to do so in the library with that retarded Librarian hovering in the corner of her eye. And if she stayed inside the mansion, her retarded Uncle would pop up to try and get her to be more friendly. Thus, she opted to sit on the steps and read, but even then, their were students frolicking outside, and just as she was about to find another place, some random guy walked in and asked one of the girls...Jessi if Armitage remembered correctly, to be shown around. Armitage probably wouldn't have even made a comment, but she was already irritated enough, having to change reading spots so many times today.
[wow...Armitage really loves that 'retarded' word...O.o...]

Kennan only kindly smiled when Jessi apologized. He didn't really care about it now anyway. He was still smiling when he heard her comment about his lenght. He knew he was tall, and he knew it could be intimidating. Not as intimidating as his dragon form though... He followed her as she said which way to go.
"I am very pleased to meet you, Jessi." He said. "I'm indeed a new student. My name is Kennan, but a lovely girl like you can simply call me Ken."
Oh.. the nickname. That was honestly something which made him seem more friendly, nicknames for friends or lovely ladies.
"And you noted very well I'm tall. The reason for that is also no secret. I am half a dragon. When the lower part of my body transforms into what I really am, I'm even slightly taller than I am now."
His Italian family, the human family, wasn't tall at all. Hence their surprise when they found out his lenght...
He also took notice of Armitage. Her annoyance and simple over-use of the word 'retard' proved to be utmost amusing. Maybe he would have an interesting time in this school after all...
Once passing her near the steps he grinned, actually looking at her eyes as he decided to make a small comment, or joke.
"Sleeping outside would be fun. I'll be the first in line if that happens." He said with a grin, yes, he was joking... and yes he had actually heard her say it. After all, he was a dragon. An animal. A pure animal with animal aspects. Indeed it meant better senses, including better hearing, than humans.

Jessi blushed and looked away for a moment. "Oh, I dont' know about lovely." He wasn't the first person to comment on her looks, the second in fact. Were all guys who come to Haven like this? She didn't know so she didn't make another comment about it.
She looked at him curiously when he mentioned about sleeping outside, not sure where he got such an idea from. "I'll be second in line! I've always wanted to sleep underneath the stars. It certainly would be worth painting."

"Tch, figures...leave it to men to be the first to jump at the opportunity of sleeping outside." Armitage noted. She did not seem to react to him making eye contact with him. After all, their really is no need to react to retarded people who make eye contact. That just usually means they're retarded and stubborn as well. Her eye's shifted to Jessie as she made the comment of being second in line to that. "And of course, you would think like that..." Armitage noted, sighing as she stood lightly, closing her book. "I'm going to find someplace with cleaner air then the air here..." Armitage said, turning to walk back inside. Though she wasn't exactly talking about the air exactly...

Kennan could only give Armitage a pleasant smile as she spoke about cleaner air and seemed to, apparently, see him and Jessi as a couple of bloody retards. Hell, he didn't really mind it at all. The young lady was amusing. Much more amusing that he had expect anyone to be here at Haven. Hmmm... maybe this school was going to be a little bit of fun anyway. Finding cleaner air? Haha... she probably had some damn wrong ideas about what was going on. Maybe Armitage even thought Kennan was actually a nice person.
He turned to Jessi after that.
"I'd like to first find a room. I'd like to drop my luggage, you see." He said with the most pleasant smile in her direction. "Then, a grand tour would be most splendid."

"Very well then! Right this way sir. Please keep your hands and feet inside the tram at all times!" She giggled a bit, leading him up the steps and in through the main doors of the mansion. "And here we have the main entrance! Elaborate enough to make any sculptist jealous."

Kennan followed Jessi up the steps which lead to the main doors of the school. The entrance was rather beautifully made, interesting for those who liked that kind of stuff. Kennan however, wasn't currently interested. He simply nodded lightly at Jessi who had mentally transformed herself into a professional tour-guide.
"All right." He said when Jessi explained about the entrance.
It was sort of true. Actually it'd be kind of convennient to have a tour through all of the school. At least he'd be able to find his way around this place afterwards.

"Now up these stairs we have the second floor where all the dormitories lay. So, we shall proceed upwards and find a vacant room for you. Maybe there's one available close to mine! You never know!" She smiled and led the way up the stairs which was a few feet from the entrance. The staircase was a beautiful mahogony(sp?) wood.

As soon as Jessi reached the top of the stairs, an arm reached out, wrapping around her waist, as Young practically clung to Jessi now. "He can have my room, Dear Jessi, if I can stay in your room with you. It is a sacrifice I will more then willingly make, if it is for the sake of a fellow student...for our sake..." Young replied, in his over extravagant voice. Though how exactly it was a sacrifice for him, was a mystery, as it was rare for Young to do anything to help out a male student...though it was just like him to offer his own room up for the sake of staying in a room with a female student.

Kennan followed Jessi up the stairs, grinning lightly when he heard some dude react to her words before he even could.
Apparently he was free to have someone else' room if he could share with Jessi. Once he as well reached the top of the stairs, he noticed how Young had wrapped his arm around Jessi's waist. Guessing the girl probably didn't like it, he wrapped an arm around Young and with some force pulled him away from her.
"Why wanting to share a room with her if you can have me?" He asked with a face which looked so serious it was scary.
He released the guy and crossed his arms, actually amused to see Young's and Jessi's reaction on his so serious sounding jokes.
"But be sure to wash yourself then, there's a strange stench about you." He said, stil joking.
It was always nice to let his not so friendly nature out.
