Background Check: Lloyd was born as an only-child into an average middle-class family- but he's always wanted more than just being a middle-classed-nobody. Lloyd pushed himself to do beyond average in school (he was already smarter than a handful of the students), and eventually he reached his goal by studying rigorously. However, it wasn't long before he was bored of that, and tired of studying. He took to conning and outwitting other students into making them fall on the charts and do worse- making him greatly disliked by his peers. Nobody on the school administrator board would believe the fishtails provided by hateful students that smart Lloyd Russell was finding shortcuts in the school system to boost himself beyond his current point, then finding other ways to pull them down. All the stories (the majority of them, anyway) were true.
Bored again, Lloyd picked up a smoking habit. It's nothing big (he certainly knows it isn't good for his health, so he doesn't go through packs a day), but he's managed to keep it under cover.
A man approached Lloyd recently when he was smoking, flashing proudly a badge that said he was on the school administrator board and swearing that he'd get him expelled from school for what he was doing (as well as in trouble with his parents for smoking). Although Lloyd coolly denied cheating of any sort (as he'd been doing for so long now), there was nothing he could do about lying about smoking. The 'angry' stranger continued to approach Lloyd despite the teen's shouts for him to back off, and then gassed him and knocked him out. The stranger wasn't connected to the school administrator board at all; he was a scientist, who abducted the knocked-out teenager, and brought him to Wonderland

History: Just as he did in the real world with school, Seth found a way to sincerely boost his rank up from a lowly nine to the Ace of Clubs. He liked the thrill of being in charge, giving orders, and making others do simple tasks for him, and was plenty confident and cocky with his current job (though on the outside, he pretended to be humble). Seth influenced the king for his own benefit- the greater good over the rest of the puny people. If he thinks he can get away with it, the Ace will make up orders from the king, and issue them to the other cards just like they were real. Seth is sworn loyal to the 'Greater Good' (interpreted by many as their god, 'Justice')... but is the 'greater good' his own greed?
Quickly, Seth had become sick and tired of tasting his power over-peppered with the King's official rule. Using his influencing speaking, Seth subtly plans against the man, setting roots down that might weed up against the King of Clubs and boost Seth up to that position.
He greatly and passionately dislikes any and all of the Dealers. Their amount of power with lack of proper number or position is outrageous, and if he could, Seth would want to bring them down during the process of getting the King down, too.
