Rya stood before the academy, wondering why it seemed so forboding today. "I've been talking to the leader for too long, his death speeches must be affecting me." She looked up at the village symbol, emblazoned over the large entrance. The windows above the symbol were closed, blocking out the dusty air. Rya sighed and looked back at the large doors. "The next generation walks through those doors. My new friend will walk through them one day, a fullfledged Genin. He'll most likely be stronger than my teammates."

'Yare yare. Can this day get anymore boring?' were the thoughts occupying the young mind of the prodigy of the Daikama Clan, Ichijin. He sighed in exasperation as he walked along the streets, ending up at the Academy. He smirked lightly, though it was lost because of the cloak, and closed his eyes. 'Ah. Good memories here, neh?' he asked himself, a grin starting to form on his face. He spotted a head of hair a few feet in front of him, and smiled lightly, though it was again lost to everyone around him.

"Ah! Rya-san! What are you doing out here? Waiting for someone?" he asked, tilting his head lightly to the left. You see, Ichijin had the amazing (Insert Sarcasm on Amazing) ability to almost read peoples minds. And he was practically a human clock. "I mean, there would really be no other reason to be here, neh? So, the only reason to be a Genin and at the Academy, unless your just wandering like I am, is that you're waiting for someone." he nodded lightly, as if confirming it himself. "Then again, there are plently of other sub-conscious reasons to come over here. After all, I was just wandering and my sub-conscious led me here because of memories." he nodded again, "So I guess you could be here for a multitude of reasons, but not really know them."

Ichijin also had a annoying tendency to over think the 'Human Element'.

Ichijin raised an eyebrow at 'Ichi', but said nothing about it. "Eh, I'm just wandering, so I'm not really exploring anything." he nodded, and frowned at her next statement. "Yare yare, Rya-san, you don't need to be so snippy. I was only curious." he sighed and cracked his neck, but said nothing afterwards until she said something about the Chuunin exams. "Ah, the Chuunin Exams. Well, they are normally Six months or so after each Academy graduation... So..." he trailed off. When WAS the last Graduation? "I can't remember?"

Ichijin shrugged lightly, though that too was lost in the confines of his cloak, and spoke: "Ah, well I kinda did forget. Honestly I can't even remember my birthday half the time." he sighed and looked around, seeing no one in particular. it was unbelievably hot, even by Suna's Standards. He sighed, and turned back to Rya. "So, why do you want to be Chuunin, Rya-san? It's not all it's cracked up to be." he frowned, again it was lost, and tilted his head lightly to one side, as if dissecting something very interesting.

Ichijin frowned at the modest expression of sadness that crossed her face, but said nothing about it until she spoke up. "I... see. That's a fine reason for the Chuunin Rank. But... I question one thing. How would being Chuunin help?" he asked, tilting his head lightly again. He frowned, even if it was lost within the cloak, and sighed. "Really, I don't. I was simply curious of your reasons. Had I known it was such a reason I wouldn't have asked." It was relatively well known that the main redeemable quality that Ichijin possessed was that he was crazily impartial.

Ichijin nodded and smiled lightly, even lightly tilting his head so she could see it while his eyes curved into 'u's. "I understand. Because of the peoples unwillingness to part with the information, you're hoping that when you of higher rank they will trust you enough with said information. Good thinking, Rya-san." he nodded, before grinning. "Of course I don't. But that has never stopped me before, now has it?"

Returning the gesture, Ichijin 'hmph'-ed and turned away, before smirking lightly and pulling his sleeve up slightly. "Ha, tortured? I can kill myself without knives, thanks." he stuck his tongue out again, and grinned. "Besides, if I don't get into other peoples business, then I'm left with my own, and that's boring, because I know all my problems." he nodded, bfore thinking about how odd that had sounded.

He tilted his head again, the usual sign of curiosity, and frowned. "But really, who are you waiting for? Arashi-san perhaps?" honestly, it was kind of freaky the way he did that. The 'Read your Mind' thing that he did.
