The fey go by many names. They come in many different shapes and sizes. There are many different kinds of fey. It is said that they are immortal, but this is not true. They can die. They can be killed. It is a very difficult thing to bring about, but it can be done. You just can't sit around and wait for them to die of old age. That simply will not happen.

The Sithen: Places of power and magic. Home of the fey. Where sidhe rule. There are several sithen left. Their names? Well, their true names are long forgotten. They have taken on the names that humans have given them. The courts are: Dark, Light, Happiness, Misery, Love, and Hatred. Of course, the courts are not what the humans have named them after. Their inhabitants are very mixed. So, what are you? Where do you belong? Are you a part of one of the courts? Perhaps you live in a human city or town? Where do you fit in this story of near war among the sithen courts?

Dark Court: This court is ruled by a queen. She is sidhe and was once a goddess of the night. Many of the humans fear this court because they turn away none of the "monsters" that the other courts do...

Light Court: This court is ruled by a sidhe king. He was once a sun god. Humans generally smile upon this court. Looks can be deceiving, though...

Court of Happiness: This court is ruled by a sidhe king. He was once a god who was thought to bring happiness and fertility. Is all happy within the court? Well, they can pretend....

Court of Misery: This court is ruled by a sidhe queen. She was once a goddess who was thought to bring misery to the unfaithful and to strike them infertile. Is it nothing but misery? Hardly...

Court of Love: This court is ruled by a sidhe queen. She was once a goddess of love. Are all the relationships here based on love? Not all stories are quite so happy...

Court of Hate: This court is ruled by a sidhe king. He was once a god of war and bloodshed. Is there no love here and only hate? No such thing is allowed.. Is it?...

Bio/History: Listar was born into royalty, her mother being a queen. Her father, though, was not the king. This was figured out almost immediately and she was scorned because of a one night stand her mother had. Growing up she was picked on, tormented. There were many attempts upon her life, some made by her own family. She has managed to survive, though. She has been witness to some horrifying things, some of which were done by her older half-brother who is half dragon.

Bio: LiNeerafae appears cold and distant, unattached to her feelings. This is not true, but growing up with the drow, she learned to act. She is somewhat cold and will let nothing come between her and her mission's goal.
History: LiNeerafae was born the fifth daughter of a drow Matron. She had no name, learning as she grew that as fifth surviving daughter her mother expected that she earn a name, a title. She was trained as a priestess once she was old enough. As she was trained as a priestess, she also learned the ways of the warrior from her older brother. Once she finished her schooling, her mother gave her her brother as a guard while she sent LiNeerafae to be trained as a mage in secret. She learned quickly and once her schooling was done once more, she earned her name. With only her brother at her side, she eliminated an entire lower house who had no favor with the Spider Queen. Due to some incidents, which she keeps to herself, she was forced to leave her home.
Personality: She can seem rather distant and cold. She can warm up to people, though. She has a rather violent and unrelenting temper that few can talk her down from.

Bio/History: Emslebeth was found as an egg by the king of the Court of Hate. He hatched her in secret, raising her as his own in a way. To this day, the dragon still sees the man as her parent of sorts. She is fierce in combat and almost all else she does. She can be a bit sadistic at times though. She was given the position as a general by the king himself. She strives to make him proud of her.

LiNeeerafae stands at Listar's bedroom door. She's inside the princess's room, but that is not where her attention is. Her attention is on the door and the hall outside the closed barrier. She is Listar's constant companion. Her friend. She acts as the sidhe girl's guard as well though. There is no guard for the princess of the court. There is a Queen's Guard and a King's Guard. Both have quite a few members. Unless Listar's mother gives the poor girl permission to choose from among the men of the guard or court, she is all the princess has to save her should anything happen.

Listar is laying in her king sized fourposter bed. Its midnight blue curtains hide her away for the most part. The blankets and pillows are black, midnight blue, and a deep purple. She's relaxed. She knows nothing and no one can enter the room without LiN knowing. Nothing has ever gotten past the drow so far. She's just lucky to have the woman as a companion and friend. If the assassin weren't around... Well, she just doesn't want to think about those possibilities.

LiN looks to the door, spotting the little demi-fey in the keyhole. She steps up to the door and kneels down. "You should think farther ahead, Uni.." The drow carefully helps the diminutive woman finish coming through into room, especially careful of those beautiful little wings.

LiN shakes her head. The drow hadn't meant to further upset the demi-fey in her hand. She gives Uni a rare smile. "It is fine, Uni. You didn't ask to become stuck. Are you hurt?"
