Just got back from the Peter Murphy show xD

Wow! He did such a great performance! I've vaguely listened to his solo stuff, that was partially why I wasn't immediately into seeing him perform. I'm definitely more of a Bauhaus fan. However, Murphy did have a lot of great songs, and still had that signature chilling voice (which I personally find beautiful). He looked great on stage (perspired incredibly). The crowd was totally chill, he played one Bauhaus song. Altogether, it was a great performance and I loved the respect that was shown not only from the crowd, but from Peter Murphy as well. He made sure to mention the band members names a few times, and even the back stage guy that helped him with his mic. Definitely a great show!

Here's my live review:

I am so glad you went!! I feel a tiny bit responsible, so it is awesome that you had a great time.

I love his solo work..

he still moves all over the place.

I haven't seen him by himself since the mid 80's, but am now looking forward to it even more!!

I lost my concert virginity to him when I was 17. I don't really care to see him again. :/

I got to see lovely mister Murphy on July Fourth down here. He was nothing short of incredible. I did find it amusing that since the show was at the beach and the fireworks were so close that he refused to go on stage until they were over. I would have done the same thing, though.

Oh, and did anyone catch the name of his middle eastern opener? I was enthralled by him. All it says on my ticket is 'guest'...
