I'm sure you all already know about this one but just in case you don't.
Versions: Red and Blue
Title: Missingno code
Description: Go to Viridian City and talk to the old guy that drinks coffee. Watch him catch the Weedle. Then after that fly to Cinnabar Island. Then surf up and down the east coast. Then you should run into this glitched up mess called Missingno. Run away or defeat it. Then your 6th item will be duplicated by A LOT!!
DO NOT CATCH MISSINGNO IT WILL GLITCH UP YOUR GAME!!!!!
(Note: Your Pokemon League hall of fame will be glitched up after you do this code.)

Here's a common cheat for gold and silver: duplicate your pokemon and it's item
1. Save infront of a PC
2. Deposite up to 5 pokemon to duplicate
3. While still in the PC go to "move pokemon without mail"
4. Select yes to save but turn off the power when it tells you not to
5. Turn the power back on and now you should have the pokemon in your party and it's clone in your PC.
*Note* I know there's a way to aceive this goal and I think this is it. I haven't played these games for a while so this is all by memory.
