He heaved a sigh, standing by the door of her new room and looking at all the cardboard boxes, the bed and empty desk and dresser placed in her room. She'd just moved in with her older brother, JJ, which was short for Jeremiah James. Her older brother lived in a white house on a very large, expensive property that was owned by his mother-in-law, Cindy. On that same property, she owned two houses, the one that JJ lived in, and her own, rather large, home.
JJ, and his wife Lacey, often spent most of their day at work and would eat dinner at Cindy's home, then sleep only to wake early and work again.
She glanced at the clock and saw that it was late, about 8:30pm, so she decided she was going to go to sleep early, but she had to retrieve her bulldog, Fubar, first.
She headed down the strange staircase that lead to the first floor, but found that Fubar wasn't even inside of the house, so she headed outside and into the front lawn carefooted. She started calling out the dog's name, cupping her hands around her mouth, but the little bulldog didn't come.
"Dammit, stupid dog." She huffed angerly, walking up to the porch and pulling her black and white checkered Vans on over his bare feet, heading out to look for Fubar wearing only a black tanktop, and a pair of black shorts.
Fubar was obviously off exploring his new surroundings, which also included the neighbor's yards.
