It has been ten years since the Third Great Ninja War took place, leaving all villages in ruins. Konohagakure, once a great military power, has now decresed in size and strength with most of its elite ninja's dead. While some members still survive, Konoha has become a shadow of its former self. Normally, this would mean that all he other nations would become anatagonists and try to take over Konoha, but alas, the other nations are not faring so well either: Suna and Iwa have been reduced to mere numbers, Oto and Kumo have been virtually destroyed with only a few survivors while Kirigakure has been wiped out entirely. The whole state of Japan has been merely devastated with the wars.

The Third Ninja War took place just a few years after Tsunade became the Fifth Hokage. According to the official records, she had not obtained the most popular rating in the business aspects of Konoha. Being more interested in her ninja and not the village as a whole, Tsunade was charactarized as an enemy to capitalism. In fact, she was doing what she thought was correct in the New World. She was using most of the budget to strengthen her military, while thinking little to nothing of the monetary issues surroundig the village. This was very disturbing to the business men of Konoha. Using there power over some of the ninja in the village, they elected a leader amongst themselves named Saboyu. Saboyu was a tradesman who had made billions of yen distributing goods to foreign countries. However, there were speculations that the man did not only distribute goods, but also weapons and drugs, citing that he had backed many failed coups in his time such as the famous one in Kiri. Saboyu, however, had remained free since almost no evidence could be found. With the backing of the other men, Saboyu proclaimed himself Feudal Lord and stated a coup against Konoha.

Normally, Tsunade would deal with the issue herself, but Saboyu had a trick up his sleeve. Using his immense wealth, Saboyu managed to bribe the village of Oto and Kiri to side with him and help him stage a coup against Tsunade and all of Konoha. The now once small civil war had erupted into World War. Knowing that Konoha was in no position to handle a war on three fronts, Tsunade allied with long time allied Suna and Iwa. The Kazekage Gaara himself traveled to Suna to take on the Kiri Front, while Iwa dealed with Kumo.

The War itself and how many people died have been erased from the pages of history.

Present Time: Shikamaru has been proclaimed the Sixth Hokage with the death of Tsunade and Hokage-hopeful Naruto. Sasuke and Sakura have been made Sannin. Rock Lee, Ten Ten and Neji have been made Jounin, along with Chouji and Ino. Shino and Kiba have been injured in action. Hinata stayed as a Chuunin and is now in charge of the Academy.

With the rebuild of Konoha and the rest of the land, things seem to finally be in peace. Whether Chaos will return; is still a mystery...

Konoha Main District
2:25 PM, Monday
10 Years after The Third Ninja War

Shikon sleeping on the tallest branch of the biggest tree of the main district..Opened his eyes to his best friend wagging his tale..This had meant many things, but not this time.. Kizu's tail was wagging because earlier the sound of his master's stomach was one of hunger.. So it brought him joy that his master woke up to eat and not to train like they have been for several days until now..

Kizu licked his master on the nose and barked twice..

Shikon smiled and kissed Kizu in the nose.. "Alright buddy i hear you.. Lets eat some ramen.. But after wards straight back to training. Today is the last day we have with Master Lee until the Jonin Exams where we will get a new Sensai.. Lee Sensai will be mad if we're late again.."

Kizu barked one more time as to confirm the deal.. As they both jumped down their bed away from home to head for the Ramen shop..

That’s a price you have to pay, if you want to kiss me.”[/i] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- She took in a deep breath of the rain-pregnant air and tapped after him. Her hand was warm, his was cool, and they found themselves sinking into an excruciating, unbearable lukewarm mediocrity. He dropped her wrist, let her blaze, and returned to the cold. Moving fast past the dying phosphorescent, he led her through the dim streets and darker souls, finally pulling her towards the entrance of the alley-maze. “It’s in the city, isn’t it?” Krea shoved her hand back into her pocket, eyes coldly appraising, straying lower occasionally to stare hungrily at his wings. D'Roy hissed softly, making it sound more like a sigh than anything else, and wiped the impatient malice from his face before turning back around. “What do you think?” he sneered contemptuously, “This is the only hell-hole of civilization left on Eurasia, except for the deserts.” Krea’s jaw tightened, eyes sparking in anger, but chose to stay silent. She wasn’t going to follow him, he could tell. s**t. There was a kind of gravitational force pulling him backwards into the maze—a sort of tug that whispered [i]come to me[/i]. Wings tucked in, D'Roy threw off his leather jacket, hissing softly at the zipper. Without a word, he turned and ran—ran back to everything that was wild and forever. He made sure it wasn’t too fast. Krea pulled on the ends of her ragged hair cut angrily, biting down on one lipstick-chewed lip and tearing into the dead skin coating. ******** fairies. Whatever happened to pixie dust and just believing you could fly? ([i]that’s what mama did—she tried to fly. she tried to fly off the fifty story buildings. stupid fairy promised her he would catch her.[/i]) Her socks are old. Old and thin to the point of swiss-cheese holes and a playground heaven. She wears three pairs at a time under shoes that are too big for her anyway. She spends a ridiculously long amount of time wondering if fairies wear socks. [i]Why don’t you come and see?[/i] And in a step, she enters the labyrinth. ([i]with a monster in the middle[/i]) What she doesn’t know is that the earth she has just stepped onto is blessed. There is magic in the grime, magic that swelled up and pounded through his veins until he found himself clenching his hands tightly, half longing for the delicate bones to snap. Sharp, mostly-human teeth ground together as he ran, leading her further in. [i]Not yet.[/i] She ran past the street art, the worn down graffiti holding close to the bricks in a lover’s embrace. She sucked down the air, feeding it into her lungs, puzzled by the odd way it stung her throat. She was not letting him get away. Ahead of her, D'Roy’s wings had disappeared, folded tamely back into his black T-shirt. She blinked—and he vanished. He made sure no one would be able to hear her scream. Her head cracked back against the wall, his forearm to her throat and her shoulder scraping hard enough to bleed, stinging in a way that only a scrap could. Her windpipe closed, until all she could think of was pain pain pain and [i]not breathing[/i]. Her feet kicked out, several inches above the ground, mismatched shoes scrabbling for some purchase. Useless, bitten fingernails tugged at unnaturally cold skin and she was getting dizzy— “You really think it’d be that easy?” D'Roy hissed into her collar bone, “You really think I’d [i]let you[/i] destroy my home?” ([i]break me break me break me—[/i]) “Shi—” Krea writhes, throat clogged and wet, struggling for the evasive air— ([i]you steal my breath away?[/i]) D'Roy smiled suddenly, sharply, throwing his face into sharp relief. The expression was not a kind one—he looked, if possible, less human. “You annoying girl…” ([i]you don’t die pretty[/i]) Her left eye could no longer see anything but an all-encompassing mottled purple. Twice, her body reflexively tried to throw up, but to no avail. She kicked out at him, one last time, missed— [i]Think[/i], Krea chanted to herself distantly; [i]Stop acting like he expects you too[/i]— She tilted her head, and pressed her lip ring against the delicate skin of his wrist. For a second, he didn’t move—her head began to slump forwards—she really couldn’t see anything anymore and her lungs felt like they were popping— ([i]kill me kiss me[/i]) She could smell his skin burning, just before she fell. Before she’s fully conscious, before she’s even hit the ground—she breaths. It might not be something to advertise—but she is one of the desert people. She was born to fight. She manages to take in two, sharply wet breaths before striking the dirty asphalt and tangling her legs around one of his. D'Roy might be one of the fey—he might be lightning, eye-blurring fastfastfast— But she’s not completely human, either. He jumps up over her first leg and comes down on the second with a mind numbing snap, grinds the shattered nerves into the dirt while she gasps, and bites. “[i]s**t[/i],” D'Roy swears, and shakes furiously as her teeth sink in deeper, the steel enforcements sending jarring shocks into his brain, “You [i]b***h[/i]—” ([i]his blood tastes like shadows[/i]) Forearm pinned between her teeth, she laced their fingers together, pressing palm to palm and finally letting go when he got a knee to her stomach. She did throw up then, dropping his hand and gagging pathetically, hating her own weakness as she shook on the ground. Cold, practical hands lifted her hair up behind her neck. She waited a moment, after she was done, to see if those same hands would wrap around her neck. They did—but in a way that was far more intimate than malicious. “I said I’d take you there,” D'Roy said lowly, “I don’t lie, if I can help it.” Still huddled on the ground, she raised her face slowly, trying to ignore the careful hands cradling her neck. She could feel the bruises beginning to rise. “Then why did—” she had to break off again, clamping her teeth against the nausea and the unbearable soreness before trying again, “Why did you try to kill me?” He sneered in a way that was all predator and blood and didn’t reach his cold, cold eyes, “You never said you couldn’t go in pieces.”

Renji walked up the the leaf villages main gate.

So this is the leaf village eh? Much smaller then Temari said it was.

His back hurt from carrying his puppet during the journey from the sand village.

Man I hope this village makes some good old fashioned onigiri, i'm starving!


Renji walked inside the leaf villages main gate and was suddenly stopped by 2 leaf shinobi guarding the gate. 1 of the guards went up to Renji with his hand on his kunai pouch strap.

Halt! Who are you and what is your business here?

My name is Renji, I come from the hidden sand village on orders from kazekage Temari. I am here to enlist in the Special Shinobi Team program where I will be bringing my skills and experience as a sand shinobi into one of the newly formed leaf village teams.

I apologize Renji, we have gotten word before hand foretelling your arrival. The hokage can't see you right now due to a meeting so feel free to look around the town for the time being. We will send someone for you once the meeting is finished.

Heh..Thats my uncle for ya, always to busy to see a relative. Ah well thats fine, guess i will find a place for me to get some onigiri and tea.

Renji walked through the streets of Konoha. He felt somewhat uneasy due to the fact that everyone seemed to be staring at him due to his strange clothing, face paint, and of course the almost human sized "thing" wrapped up and attached to his back.

Renji quietly walks into the next nearest resturaunt to avoid the stares and whispering. He grabs a seat at a table and takes off the object on his back sighing in relief and stretching his back. He places the wrapped object at the wall right next to his chair and grabs a menu.

This looks like a good place to get some food. We will wait here until uncle Shika calls for me. That alright with you......dad?

lei reaches in a seemingly empty pocket and with a poof of smoke pulls out a doggy treat and gives it to kizu "here you go boy"puts it in his mouth and kizu jumps off. lei gets up and brushes himself off (for no reason at all hes covered in filth from training) and walks towards rock lee and shikon and thinks to himself "so glad i have all those summoning seals in my pockets or i wouldnt have been able to move, god that dog is strong" as he walks by kizu patting the now satisfied with treat 4laugh dog on his head. Lei takes his place next to shikon and sits down. Lee gets up and starts pacing "good now that you're BOTH here" he says as he stare a shikon seriously then smirks " i wanna say something" he stops pacing and looks down as he remembers...."you guys" lee clenches his fist as he chokes back tears "HAD TO HAVE BEEN SOME OF MY BEST STUDENTS YET!" he says as he does a pose hailing the peace
sign at them still choking back tears as he smiles. "I'm going to miss being your sensei very VERY much!" shikon looks at lei in annoyance and disbelief kinda motioning look at this guy as lei thinks to himself "god he did the same thing last time we saw each other". lee then grabs all three of them unknowingly choking them as he hugs them and starts yelling as tears spray from his eyes "TODAYS THE LAST DAY WE TRAIN TOGETHER AS ME FOR YOUR SENSAI SO ITS GOING TO BE THE LONGEST HARDEST OF THEM ALL
YOUR GOING TO TRAIN UNTIL YOU MASTER THE TECHNIQUE OR UNTIL YOU CANT WALK FOR TWO DAY WHICH EVER COMES FIRST!!!" He releases the cousins as they gasp for air and says with his chest puffed out and his hands on his hips tears still streaming down his face "alright lets do this get ready guys lets warm up then tomorrow i want you two to do something for me"
