A light breeze blew over the mountainside as snowflakes fell to the ground in a light flurry. All seemed calm and quiet, that is until the silence was broken by a loud "YAAAHOOO!!!". Oukami came shreading down the mountain slope, a small pack of wolves following quickly behind him. The man continued to pick up speed as snowflake after snowflake became plastered against his orange snow goggles as they hit his face.

Not far ahead, approximately 20 yards away, Oukami saw a small ramp made by the snow. He crouched down to accelerate, and hit the ramp with incredible speed. He was shot into the air like a bullet, and took every opportunity given to him to pull off some stunts. He grabbed the bottom of the board and flipped upside down before rotating mid-flight. The rotation with the board in the air made Oukami look like he had a helicopter blade attached to his feet.

Noting the ground getting closer and closer by the second, Oukami fliped back over and stuck a perfect landing in the snow. He turned the board horizontal to the slope and slid to a stop. A minute later, the wolves caught up with him and sat down around him. "Now that's what I call a morning run!" he said to them.

Oukami, after a long hike after Mugen, had finally made it back up to where the rest of the pack was. He set the food down in front of the wolves and they all but blew him out of the way to get to it. Their table manners left a lot to be desired, in that they tore and ate the bags too, not really caring what the tasted like. "I guess you guys really were hungry" Oukami said chuckling.

[Hiyomi enters from Otogakure]

From the shadow of a nearby tree, the Hyuuga was flung up into the air. On his way down, Oukami saw him out of the corner of his eye and vanished, only to appear below the boy and catch him. "You okay kid? Hey kid!" Hiyomi was exhausted after traveling throught another Kagekado. He looked up at the man carrying him. "The name's Hiyomi buddy, and yeah, I'm fine." Oukami looked down at him and smiled. "You okay to walk?" "Of course! I just get a little drained going through those damn shadows." "I was wondering about that" Oukami said looking over at the shadow of the tree. "That's some Jutsu, using shadows for teleportation like that."

With that, he set Hiyomi down and the Hyuuga took a hesitant look around. "Where am I...uh..." "Oukami" he said. "Okay then Oukami-san. Can you tell me where I am?" "You're on one of the Mile-High Peaks of Yukigakure." Hearing that made Hiyomi go white in the face. Yukigakure was nowhere close to Konoha! "You're kinda far from home, aren't you Hiyomi?" The man asked pointing to Hiyomi's headband, more so the Konoha insignia ON the headband.

"Never mind that! My friend is in trouble! I need to get back home and get help!" "Okay, hold on. Where's your friend now?" "He's in Otogakure fighting six S-Ranked criminals! He can't take them all on his own!" Oukami nodded. "Oto huh? Got it!" He put his index finger and thumb on either side of his mouth and whistled.

"Hanaan! Mugen! Let's go guys!" The wolves ran up to Oukami and disappeared as the hit a scroll on his leg. "What are you doing?" "It'll take a while for Konoha ninja to make it to Oto, so I'll go and help your friend for now. I'll also send you back to Konoha to get your help." Hiyomi smiled. "Thanks Oukami-san!" "No worries, but you better hurry. Koriton: Korikado no Justu!" As Oukami made his hand sign, the snow behind him and Hiyomi grew and crystalized into a flat piece of glass. It then glowed and Oukami spoke the word "Konohagakure" into it. As he did, the glassy ice glowed and Oukami pushed Hiyomi in.

[Hiyomi exits to Konohagakure]

When Hiyomi was gone, Oukami spoke the word "Otogakure into the ice, and it glowed a different color. Oukami jumped in and the ice reverted back to its powder snow state when he left.
