Does anyone take pictures of their cool fabrics? (Or am I the only one?)

:3 I want to see what other neat fabrics people have found, and where you found them. I buy all mine as scraps right now, and I've never paid more then $5, even for blanket-sized fleece scraps. I have some neat ones, but I'll have to upload the pictures first. whee

I don't usually take pictures because my digital camera isn't very good and it wouldn't do justice to the fabric at all. I have scanned some before, but the power cord for my scanner is missing right now. xd ;;; If I find it, I'll scan in some of my favorites. :3

I buy most of my fabric at JoAnn's. There are a couple of small quilting shops in town that I hit up once in a while, but they're more expensive--they've got nothing for less than $10/yard. I always make sure to hit the (much larger) quilting store when I go to 'the big city' too--they're pretty expensive too, but they have a really big collection of Japanese fabrics so I just can't resist. 4laugh

I have found alot of neat fabrics on ebay. Only problem is, is shipping can be high, but alot of sellers , if you ask prior, will combine shipping and you can even suggest they use a flat rate box so it isnt being shipped by weight, in a flat rate box you just fill it up and pay one price. So if you are looking to buy alot from the same seller then it is realy good.

that is a sellers store on ebay, I have gotten some realy good stuf there a few tiems befor and she is always awesome with shipping and realy trys to work with you to get you the lowest shipping cost. You have to check back often though. the good stuff goes fast.

Here's some fabric I hope to make something(s) out of. Not sure yet. I was inspired by a book I found at the library called Kokoro No Te by Kumiko Sudo. I found the fabric at JoAnn's and matched it with solid coordinating scraps I already had.
