I actually don't mind them. I like a couple of their songs, they're fun to dance to.
Funny that you bring them up because I was just listening to the Ladytron remix of Tear You Apart.

I looove them, but not enough to buy anything by them.
Check out I Love You, But I've Chosen Darkness. They're a newer band with the classic sound, too.

Their music is good, their lyrics are hit or miss. Overall, I appreciate the band and like some of the stuff they make, but they feel very second-rate even in this age at times.

I think they try really hard to achieve that early 80's synthesized post- punk but it just ends up sounding cheap and completely derivative of their influences. I think everyone in this guild from just hearing a couple of their songs can pick out their influences really easily.
Not a fan.
