What are some ideas for contests?
How should they be judged? Should one person be solely responsible for deciding the winners? Should it be by committee?
Would various crew members be willing to hold their own anime, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, gaming, costuming, art, writing themed contests here in the guild?
How can we advertise our contests?
How can we encourage people to participate?

thats the problem...we cant let one single person decide a winner, but at the same time having crew members in a close knit community like this guild with not the greatest number of people in it, makes it hard to cast votes since if their are few entrys often times then crew can simply vote for themselves and most likely end in a tie....or you get what I mean...at the same time contests can attract more poeple...

I'll opt to not enter any contest and act as a judge till the guild expands

I'm putting contests on hold until we get more active members. it doesn't seem to make sense to hold something no one but crew will enter. It's going to be casual discussion for a little while I do more recruiting. Also nearly all of our crew, with the exception of you, Brotta, have gone AWOL, so I'll try looking for more reliable people in that area.
BTW, thanks for all the help keeping this thing afloat, Brotta.
