At noon, the sun sat in the sky, its warm rays pouring down on the sleepy city. A gently breeze rustled through the trees of the Ironwood forest, while farmers tended to their fields which surrounded the outskirts of the city. "Meet me at the crossroad, at the outskirts of the Ironwood forest." the ghostly woodsmen told them. All who come find the crossroad, but no woodsmen, yet. Wait a while and he should be along.

Cecil felt uncomfortable. It wasn't that he was in another world, or that he had a tail, or that he was travelling with someone that he decided he didn't like all that much, it was the woodsman who made him the most jumpy. Unfortunately for him, Cecil would have to trust the woodsman so he could find a way out of here. At least, he hoped. The whole witch thing could be a bunch of bullshit, but hey, he didn't know what other options he had right now.
His ears twitched as he looked around. The man said to meet them here... Where was he?

Chris looked around the area he was told to meet the woodsman. He kept vigilant for signs of anyone that might come this way. "I'm not sure where he is. Hopefully he is just late and I'll give him another fifteen minutes before I walk there myself. Shouldn't be too hard to find if the directions we were given are correct. She had better have some useful information. I really do not feel up to getting it out of the people from the church." Chris said in an irratated tone as he looked around.

Nick walked briskly through the woods as he reached the entrance. Ahead he could see the outline of Cecil and Chris. “Hmm so they came.” He thought to himself, “but where is the boy?” Nick hopped the child was just late or decided to not come. As long as he was not picked up by the guards or the Church. Soon Nick was in site for the two travelers to see, green cloak with its hood up while the material billowed back, bow and quiver of arrows in tow. The cool air greeted his covered face as he enjoyed the warmth of the sun. This was a fine day for a walk through the woods.

Chris noticed the approaching man. "There he is Cecil. Guess we won't be walking there alone after all." Chris gave a slight wave and approached the woodsman.

Cecil crossed his arms and looked at the man. He tapped his foot impatiently. He wanted to get this walk to be over with. The visit to the witch can take as long as it wanted, just so long as he didn't have to walk back.
((Sorry for the wait guys, stuff's been happening.))

"ahh good they are here." He thought to himself as the tall one, Chris, approached him. In no time he was with the two young ...errr... men and ready to guide them to the witche’s home. "It will take half a day’s walk to get there." He said in his ice could voice. "Stay to the path I guide us on, for these woods are dangerous even to those with special…. attributes." eyeing Cecil as he spoke.

Chris held out his hand in a friendly gesture for a hand shake. Then let us be off. I am eager to meet this witch, she may have the answers we are looking for. What is her name by the way, and anything we should know before meeting her?" Chris was eager to get this walk done an over with and get to the good stuff. He knew time was running short to find a way to prevent what was happening to the others from happening to him.

Cecil let out a growl from inside his throat. He obviously didn't like the woodsman. Nonetheless, he took Nick's advice and put on his hat. Why couldn't their guide be less creepy? Or, if he was ever lucky, friendly? Cecil didn't mind if he was a tad creepy, but those icy eyes the man had left a sour impression on the teen. Cecil let out a silent sigh. Ah well, it's not like he had any other choice.
He pointed at the woods. Shall we start?

Nicholas walked past Chris, not even acknowledging the out reached hand. He stood between the two as he looked around, getting his baring, deciding what path would be best for these two. He ignored the impatient fox boy, though his icy eyes met his when he heard the growl from in the boy’s throat. "Her name is Greta, but the answers you want I am not sure you will find with her." with that he began walking passing Chris again and heading into the brush and foliage of the forest. "Let's go, and try not to fall behind." with that he was off.

Chris felt quite insulted by the cold and rude response he got from this guy.He wished more and more that he just went it alone, then he wouldn't have to deal with this and do everything on his schedule. Chris grumbled to Cecil. "What an a**."
Chris responded to Cecil's growl with a chuckle. "My sentiments exactly. Hopefully this won't take too long."

Cecil shrugged. It's not like they had a chance of the matter. He crossed his arms. Just tolerate him for a while. Nick was the only one who seemed to be willing to help, rude as he was. It perked Cecil's curiousity, why exactly was this man helping a freak like him and a stranger like Chris? Apparently Bone had a part in it, but other than that, he couldn't think of a reason this woodsman would go along helping to weirdos like themselves.
Hey. He wrote to Chris in his notebook, Ask why he's helping us.

Chris nodded to Cecil then turned his attention to the woodsman. "You do not seem pleased to see us, nor be here. Why exactly are you helping us?" Straight forward and to the point. Chris hoped that this man would answer him, and truthfully.

As the three walked through the woods, the sky grew darker due to the forest canopy growing thicker and thicker. Before to long it was almost impossible to tell if it was day or night, all one could see form miles around was dense, dark, forest. Nicholas could sense the disapproval his two companions had for him, but he could care less. He ignored the growls which Cecil gave him every so often as they walked over heavy growths of vegetation.
With Chris’s question, Nicholas stopped, “My motives for helping you or anyone like you two are my own concern.” He soon continued ahead of them, “if you are not happy with my reasons or suspect me to be leading you to a trap, you can take your chances on your own in this forest. But I highly advice you stay close to me. We will be at the old women’s place soon. Then you can get your answers from our local witch.” He continued on, looking a little shaken from the question Chris asked.

If Chris hadn't been paying close attention to the woodsman, he probably wouldn't of noticed that he was a bit shaken. "Ah, I got through to him." Chris thought to himself. "I see that you are a bit shaken. Was there something that happened to someone you know, or perhaps you were told to by someone? I'm not worried about the forest. Not the first time I have been in a thick wooded area. It is a rather nice change of scenary." Chris said with a smirk.
Chris was a bit worried about being in this new world, but a part of him was so over come by the prospect of action and adventure. It was like living a real D&D game. Perhaps something he could put his swordmanship skills and military training to use in. Something to challenge his intellect, like finding out who is behind getting him here, and how to stop from changing into some sort of creature. If he had to change, he hoped it was his spirit creature, that of a dragon.
