"Oberon Descendant:" There exist human beings in the world who have inherited the mystical blood of Oberon's Children. A good example of this is the child known as Alex Xanatos. Most Oberon Descendants, however, are mostly human as their mystical blood has dwindled throughout their lineage. Being as powerful as it is, however, this mystical blood enables them to more easily perform magic then other humans and usually gives them incredible powers of their own, or even in rare cases inuman physical traits. So basically, Oberon Descendant = Human being with unique mystical ability.

Most Oberon Descendants hide their powers if possible, out of fear of what they are and what people will think of them. This some times isn't an option as some of them have powers beyond their own control or inhuman physical traits that they can't help. As it stands, less then 1.5% of humans in the world are Descendants of Oberon.

Sable Swords: There also exists a mysterious organization of assassins known as the Sable Swords. Every member of the Sable Swords is an Oberon Descendant. It would seem that their only two objectives is 1. To use their powers to carry out high-priced, shady jobs and 2. To find and recruit others of their kind. It's usually rather easy for them to recruit a new member as most Oberon Descendants jump at the chance to be with their own kind.

Name: Daichi
Gender: Male
Species: Gargoyle
Profession/Rank/Title: Loose member of Ishimura Clan. Unofficial scholar and philosopher.
Skills/Powers: Practice in swordsmanship
Physical Appearance: A three-toed taloned gargoyle of pure Japanese heritage, with light teal colored skin. He is of moderate height, but his body build is meaker in comparison to most other male gargoyles. He has black, mid-length hair with the back reaching down to his neck and the front brushed to the right side of his head in thick strands. His jaw-line is strong and defining, but the rest of his facial features are soft, aside from the harsh and piercing, yet calm look in his eyes. He has two mid-sized horns jetting out from either sides of his forehead, both of them slightly bent backwards mid-way up. Like many other gargoyles, he has spiked elbows and knees. Lastly, he has single digit, bat-like wings sporting light brown coloring.

Daichi generally wears a black kosode underneath a light brown haori and hakama pants. He keeps a katana at his side in a polished, white wooden sheath, though never puts it to use. He keeps it with him out of respect for his warrior bloodline.
Characteristics: Daichi is a complex individual with a strong habit of philosphising and trying to reason with all aspects of life. He holds a strong devotion to any concept that involves the betterment and stability of intelligent beings, including the art of law, justice, politics, education, and psychology. As such, he shows little tolerance for any and all forms of vulgarity, ignorance, violence, an disrespect. It's not that he views such behavior as improper, but rather he sees it as a complete insult to life itself.

Personality-wise, Daichi isn't incredibly friendly. His stern persona often earns him the image of an uptight individual with little regard for others emotions, as he himself hardly shows his own. Though it can be said that he keeps a civil tongue, he is not above holding it, as he is quick to put down and belittle those who oppose his concept of appropriate behavior.
Biography: Daichi abandoned the ways of combat and physcially departed from the Ishimura Clan at a generally young age, though never officially claimed to be removing himself as a member. The ways of the world and intelligent life had always fascinated him, so he set out to venture the Earth and observe mankind, learning all manner of things. As such, he became a travelling scholar in his own right. As the years went by and his knowledge grew, he began to develop his own strong idea of what the world was and how it should be. His ever growing, philosophical mind took on more and more corners and branches. At the current prime of his life, age 46(so for a gargoyle that would be like 23), he has developed his strongest belief. That is that the physical differences between humans and gargoyles are meaningless, as they their mental states are very much similar. It is Daichi's belief that by the modern day definition of "human", gargoyles too are nothing less then "human". This view of complete equality is what attracts him to Goliath's cause.
