Guess Who!
This game is a simple, easy-to-play contest of trivia and recognition.
How to Play
In the next post, I'll show you a tektek and a quote or clue.
Based on those, you'll have to guess who that tektek is.
It will always be a fictional character, and it will never be someone unlikely for you to know, such as a character from an obscure manga or from a TV series that only lasted 3 episodes.
However, it might not always be someone that nearly everyone should know.
It might be a character from a TV show that not everyone watches, such as Naruto.
[In fact, the only characters I know from that show are Naruto and Sasuke.]
It can be a fictional character from any sort of media, whether it's a movie, a show, a book, a video game, whatever.
It might even be more than one character, such a couple or two brothers.
You may have to interpret items differently than you normally would, because Gaia just doesn't have everything I need to make just any character.
So, for instance, if you see a wand in the hand, maybe it's a stick instead of a wand.
Different thinking might lead you towards the answer, or it could take you further away.
I won't do anything far out, like saying laurels are really pink hair clips.
When you think you know the answer, PM me (Sher!ock) the name of the character(s) AND what that character(s) is/(are) from.
e.g. "It's Homer from The Simpsons."
If you neglect to include what the character(s) is/(are) from, I will have to count it as incorrect and you'll have to try again.
I would much prefer it if the title of your PM has something to do with the contest, like "Guess Who" or "It's Homer Simpson, right?"
You can guess as many times as you like for each character, but only one guess per PM.
Correct guesses will earn you points:
--2 points for being the first to guess correctly
--1 point for guessing after the first person guesses correctly
After 4 people guess right, I'll change the character.
This number may go up if this gets more popular.
You need to get 15 points to win a prize.
The prize will be no less than 1k, but it will probably be more, depending on my funds & the donations of others (maybe I can get some item prizes?).
It will, therefore, be subject to change after each round.
After someone wins, everyone's points go back to zero, and you must make your way back up if you want to win.
