Vex walked slowly through the narrow back alley, his glowing eyes hidden behind his tinted goggles, the slight breeze ruffling the feathers of his wings. His hands where shoved deep in his pockets and he hunched slightly as he walked. He sighed to himself.
"What am I going to do?" He asked quietly to the empty night air. He looked up at the dark cloudy sky. Not even the light of the moon shone through on this miserable night. 'This just isn't my day is it?' He thought to himself as a few drops of rain started to fall.

Wesley came out a door in the alleyway. He was holding a brown leather bound book. He was wearing blue jeans and a black t-shirt. He was running out of time. He needed to get back to his apartment before Fred managed to do anymore damage to his friends.

Vex really wasn't paying attention to where he was going and walked straight into the man that had walked out. Vex flinched away from the man and backed away.
"I-I'm so sorry. I-I didn't see you." Vex said not looking up at him. He was trying to hide his wings behind his back.

"It's alright." Wesley said calmly. "I was in a bit of a hurry so it's probably my fault." He glanced at the wings on the boys back. "Sorry..."

"Ugh.... no it's uh.... It was my fault... I-I wasn't w-watching where I was going!" He was still backing up and tripped over the raise in the cement. His arms flailed accidently knocking his goggles off. Vex closed his eyes and looked away trying to conseal his white eyes.

"Are you alright." Wesley knelt down. "Let me help." He helped him up. He didn't care if the boy had wings. He seemed to be a friendly demon, or devil, or whatever he was. Once he got him to his feet he knelt down and picked up the boy's goggles. He handed them back to him. "Here."

"Is something wrong?" Wesley suddenly became worried. "Look I'm not going to hurt you if that is what you think. You don't seem to pose any threat and at the moment I am more concerned with my girl hurting people than you."

Vex seemed to think about the words he was saying before he held out his hand carefully to take the goggles though he couldn't see where they where.

Wesley handed them back to him. "I really must be going. Be careful." Wesley turned and started walking out of the alleyway.

Vex put his goggles back on and stared after the man walking away from him. He wanted to stop him but in truth... he knew he couldn't. He wouldn't understand. But... if he didn't get help from someone... he had too.
"Wait..." Vex said quitely holding up his hand to stop the man.

"I.... uh...." Suddenly he realized he didn't know what to say. He knew he wanted help but to ask this of this stranger. Seemed a bit odd. "I uh.... I need help. I don't know who to go to."

"Well..." Vex didn't know how to tell him without the man calling him crazy. "Um... I need help. Because.... well I'm kinda stuck here and I don't know how to get.... well.... where I"m supposed to be."
