So today was my last day of school. I got some people to sign my yearbook. And I said goodbye to my favorite teacher, whom I plan to visit again some time. (I have her number. lol ) And I cleaned out my locker & turned in my lock.
But it didn't feel like the last day of my high school career. Maybe because I know school's still going on. A lot of people I know have to go in tomorrow 'cause they have finals. I fortunately got exempt. (And someone hates me for it. xD)
But then, I found out I need some immunization & blood work for my college so I can live there. & I found out this afternoon, and I'm getting them tomorrow morning at like 8AM. Sorta short notice. D: The issue is that I'm afraid it could cause me pain. Some people are afraid of spiders. I'm afraid of pain.
I'm not too worried about it right now, though. My philosophy is 'why worry about something ahead of time when you can't do anything about it?'. Which means I'll worry about it at around 7:45 AM -ish. [:

How come you got exempt? O: I would probably hate you for that, too. O___O (but I don't, ilu)
Eek, if it makes you feel any better, I'm damn near afraid of everything! Boats, planes, cars, and paiin...
I just have to close my eyes and thing of something less scary.. like uh... sleep. Sleep isn't scary. Just think about how once you get the shots and stuff you can go home and sleep!

At my school, if you're a senior with a 92.5% or above in a class, you don't have to take its final.
& the guy who's mad at me for being exempt would actually be exempt, too, if he was a senior. :b
It was alright. I already got it done, and the nurse was really nice & patient. I had to get a meningitis vaccine, which kinda stung a teeny bit, and a tetanus vaccine, which felt much the same. & I got a PPD or something to test for tuberculosis I think, and that hurt more 'cause it wasn't put in my blood, it was just injected under my skin so I'd get a bubble that they could look at later. & I also got blood drawn, which was the most uncomfortable 'cause my veins roll & because they put a rubber band thingy around my upper arm to control circulation, and anything that cuts off circulation is REALLY uncomfortable to me. But I got to lay down for the last two, so it was okay. The worst part, though, was like 15 minutes later on the way home when I almost entirely lost my vision and my hearing started to go and my heartrate and breathing were erratic and that sort of thing. I think I was in the process of passing out, but I came out of it. D: And now a couple hours later, I'm feeling normal, except my tetanus shot is a little sore.
