Hey, sorry, I meant to reply sooner sweatdrop All you can really do is practice, because practice makes perfect wink Anyways, other than practice... Punctuation: Punctuation is always a must. Make sure your period, commas, quotation marks and other stuff go in the right places. You wouldn't have a period halfway through a sentence, would you? It would make things annoying and hard to read. Words: Try to make sure the words are spelled correctly and and not short terms or slang. No 1 wnts 2 read a sntnce lyk ths. That can be really annoying too. Try not to repeat yourself too much. Don't put your character's name in every other sentence. And try not to keep saying She said, She said, She said. That can get boring....and who just says stuff, anyways? No one can just say stuff. There has to be emotion in there (unless you're a robot, that is...?). Like I said, Roleplaying well comes with practice. Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither are skills aquired. Roleplaying=Writing. Writing is a skill. And with time, you will gain that skill.
Thank you for not falling asleep out of boredom from reading this. I hope it aids you in your quest for better roleplaying skills. If not, Then I'm sorry I wasted your time. Now you may ask your questions.
((By the way, I want to be a writer, so I need to know all this stuff...))

Dre_aka_Nova So ..can you create a practice rp please and make suggestions while its going on. As always I am looking to better to myself as an rper (is that a word?) So yeah any help will be greatly appriacated Yep, I agree with you there. And rper is actually short for role player... I like rp because they're fun and I want to maybe be a writer one day... but when I compare my rping posts to everyone else's, it seems like mine aren't as good... and when I compare my writing story to you guys... redface

Hey, don't worry too much! You'll get better with time. I started a practice RP. What I want the first person to do is write me a nice big paragraph on how they see the setting through their character's eyes. biggrin I'll then evaluate it for you. I promise I won't be too harsh. 3nodding

Hi, this may sound silly, but my hardest part of rps is filling out the character descriptions. Any advice?
