Infinitely long circle... this is our problem right here. The heck is that even supposed to mean?
A agree that there could be no such thing as an infinite circle (I'll assume we are talking about an infinite circumference, though radius would work to). An infinite circle would ulimately be a straight line (as the radius of the circle reaches infinity, it's curvature would reach zero. Couple that with the fact that walking an infinite distance would require an infinite amount of time and you realize that you will never start back where you started.
