Rules of the RP
Basic rules apply. No powerplaying or godmoding. If you're playing an original in the series please stay in character. Keep things at a PG-13 level. No excessive swearing and or violence. Romance is allowed, but it as clean as you can.
When RPing remember to post in location thread in which your character is currently located. When moving to a different location put something like "[EXIT to New York]" at the end of your post.
And make sure you've read all the stickies and announcements in this board before joining in the RP.
Character Rules:
Characters from season 3 and the comic series will be allowed, but events involving them during the course of season 3 or the comics would not yet have occured. Although it is not necessary, you may try to recreate events in season 3 or the comic series involving one of these characters.
You are allowed four characters, tops. The maximum limit for original characters from the series is two.
Until the following characters are taken they will be treated as NPCs: David Xanatos, John Castaway, and Goliath. This means that they will be played by moderators of the RP. You may, in some cases, control the actions of any of these three characters if you require their interaction with your character for a breif period of time.
In many different kinds of RPs people have borrowed the appearances and sometimes personalities of characters from other forms of media. This will be allowed as long as you fit them into the Gargoyle universe. So, for example, if you were to play Jack Sparrow you would need to create a history for him that realistically fits him in to the Gargoyle universe. You can't just claim that he got sucked through some portal taking him out of the PotC world and placing him in Gargoyles. You may also create gargoyle versions of non-gargoyle characters from other forms of media.
