Starting Notes: This series seemed a bit odd at first, but once I read into it I found myself REALLY enjoying it. It's a lot of fun to read and very lighthearted feel to it. Like DBZ, HunterxHunter, and Chowder mixed together.

Synopsis: In the world where the taste and texture of food are very important there is Toriko, a hunter of precious foods regularly hired by restaurants and the rich , a man with inhuman skills to capture the ferocious, evasive and rare animals to complete his ultimate dinner course and then his current accomplice a weak timid person who was inspired by Toriko's greatness and accompanies him on all his journeys on his quest for the course of his life

Review: It's very unique. The characters have unique and varied fighting stlyes that mesh well with the feel of the series. Some characters have the muscles of DBZ characters while others have more interesting fighting styles more akin to HunterxHunter. The whole thing revolves around the pursuit of delicacies, a very interestingly unique concept that actually presents itself very well in the world this author has created.

Closing Notes: It's not my favorite series, but it's a lot of fun to read. I definatly wish to follow this series as it progresses and grows.
