Who here is a fan of Ralph Bakshi, the man who brought us the animated version of LOTR 1978 (but not The Hobbit, or Return of the King; those were done by Rankin-Bass), Wizards 1977, and Fire & Ice 1983. He of course, also worked on [i[Fritz the Cat 1972, Heavy Traffic 1973, Hey Good Lookin' 1982, and Coonskin 1975, and is known as the founder of adult animation (Fritz the Cat and Heavy Traffic both received X-ratings from the MPAA).
I really enjoy his fantasy films which supply a lot of rich social commentary.

i saw his hobbit one of my friends was scared of it when he was kid..but now he is obsessed i dont understand half the stuuf he tell me but he cant be bsing it anyaway off topic ill loook at more of his stuff now
