Gargoyles, Humans, and Oberon’s Children.
At a time these were the three races who were known to dominate the Earth through ways of power, intelligence, and magic. As the centuries went by it was mankind that rose up to become the single dominant race, even forgetting the existence of gargoyles and Oberon’s Children, over time.
Now at the turn of the new century, gargoyles have risen again to make their existence known, and a battle of acceptance and equality has begun. But as the friction between the humans and gargoyles is tested, descendants of the third race watch in silence. Human beings who inherit the blood of the ancient magical creatures known as Oberon’s Children. They hold the power to change the course of the war of intolerance between humans and gargoyles, and the course of the world itself.
It’s been a short time since Goliath and his clan awoke in the modern world, and already they find themselves having to face an unavoidable challenge. Now that the awareness of gargoyles is spreading across the globe, the endangered race must either rise up and earn acceptance among the humans or fade from existence entirely. In their fight against the judging and mistrustful eye of mankind, Goliath’s clan finds an unexpected hand of aid from their former sworn enemy David Xanatos. To make up for his past sins, he is now using his money and resources to help the gargoyles show the human race that there is nothing to fear or hate in them. As word spreads of a gargoyle clan in Manhattan that is standing up for their rights and freedom, gargoyles from all corners of the earth are rising from the shadows to travel to New York and join them in their cause.
Meanwhile, a band of gargoyle hunters known as the Quarrymen have made their presence known. Lead by John Castaway and funded by the Illuminati, they are a growing group dedicated to completely eliminating the gargoyle race. Among the Quarrymen are, usually, mere citizens who feel fear or hatred towards gargoyles. Although their methods seem straightfoward and brutal, John Castaway has also set up a more discrete plan of action to help destroy the gargoyles. Unbenounced to the public or his overseers, Castaway has hired a mysterious and shady group of assassines known as the Sable Swords. All that is known about this group is that they eliminate their targets through mysterious and otherworldly means. They could prove to be the most dangerous enemies of Goliath’s clan, yet.

Welcome to Gargoyles: New Age, the official RP of this guild. This roleplay will take place after season 2 of the telivised series. So the plot of this RP can be considered our own version of season 3(this also means the events of the comic series have not occurred). After reading the plot above and the rules, feel free to join as an original character of the series, or a made-up gargoyle, human, ect.
