Wistera ♦♦♦
♦♦♦basic characteristicsPlayed by » Superficial Muffin Alias » Leon Age » Twenty Gender » Male County » Wistera Class » Ruler Level » Special Occupation » King of Wistera Religion » ---♦♦♦on the outsideHeight » 5'11" Hair color » Pale blonde Eye color » Powder blue Overall appearance » Pale blonde hair cropped an inch below his ears in the back and at his eyelids in the front frames Leon's strong jawline and proud chin. His full complexion is pale showing that he has seen little of the sun over past years. This could be attributed to the massive amount of time Leon must contribute towards running his country as well as protecting it from the dangers of war. Weapon » He keeps a small, yet high quality, pistol concealed in a pocket inside of his overcoat though barely ever needs to use it since he is (to his irritation) surrounded by guards during all hours of the day. He also wears an old-fashioned rapier over his clothing, but this is more or less for tradition then it is for use while in self-defense.♦♦♦on the insideRelationship status » Single Personality » Out of the fact that Leon considered himself to have had an extremely strict and boring childhood he had shaped himself from an emotionless child into a good-humored adult literally overnight. One main characteristic that Leon had kept from his previous personality was his curiosity and eccentric thought process. He enjoys being amused by his current object of interest, which varies daily and complains jokingly when he is bored. This type of behavior provokes many into believing that Leon merely has an immature personality when this is not the case. Some of his closer relatives and friends even believe that his current behavior was purposely formed to trick individuals into believing that he is a fool. Rarely, his immature facade falters, but when it does he transforms into a leader his people can rely on. History » Leon was the youngest born into the royal family. His eldest brother, Nero, and sister, Jocelyn, were more than sixteen years older than him when he came into this world. His second older, Lucille, was a little closer to his age at only a four year difference. Because of the extensive age difference between him and his eldest brother and sister they soon formed an artificial relationship because of the barrier their ages had formed. Leon did get along especially with his sister Lucille and they were extremely close. His father had been delighted at his youngest son's birth being that he was the first male child of the king's second wife. His first wife had died soon after childbirth from an unknown disease (some think that she had been poisoned), but was not terribly missed because of her quickness to anger and her sharpness of tongue. There had been no love between the king and his first wife, but this was a whole different matter with his second wife, whom he loved dearly.
His eldest brother, Nero, feared Leon because of the possibility of his father stealing away his title as crown prince to give to Leon; albeit Nero was much too kind and sweet-tempered to despise Leon for this. The only person that Nero could truly dislike (he always thought that 'hate' was much too strong a word) was his cruel, dead mother whom he had heard so many horrible stories about and whom he had adopted his light brown hair and blue-green eyes from, which made him stick out like a sore thumb when he was near his other siblings. He even secretly believed that he was not even an actual son of the king, which he had realized after seeing pictures of his mother. In most pictures, Nero noticed a young man standing next to her with his hand familiarly resting of her shoulder, or other similar gestures, that showed that they were close. He had examined the man's features many a night believing that he had somewhere seen that face of his. And then one day it dawned onto him. The reason why the face was so familiar was not because he had somehow seen him before in his life, but because the man vaguely looked like him... or, rather, Nero looked vaguely like the man. Immediately thrown into despair he kept these findings to himself and swore to never tell anyone of these dark secrets. And then, after, he burned the pictures of his mother.
By this time, Leon had now grown to the ripe age of six, physically, albeit had the mentality of a person in his thirties. Although, Leon vaguely thought of his intelligence as an annoying factor stopping him from being a somewhat normal child, his parents were both ecstatic at this new finding. They quickly took advantage of his amazing ability and brought to him the greatest intellectuals in all of Aerydreth to be his tutors.
Quickly, Leon became bored of his repetitive daily routines that mainly consisted of studying. He instead spent his days concocting plans to slip away from his dull duties without being noticed too quickly as a new type of game. After successfully sneaking off he would be found analyzing people in the palace he found interesting or daydreaming in the royal gardens.♦♦♦ ♦♦♦basic characteristicsPlayed by » Q u e e n__M a c a b r ee Alias » Jocelyn Age » Thirty-six Gender » Female County » Wistera Class » Royal Level » Special Occupation » Princess of Wistera Religion » ---♦♦♦on the outsideHeight » 5'8" Hair color » Golden blonde Eye color » Deep blue Overall appearance » Jocelyn’s long, relatively straight, golden blonde hair falls mid-back, usually put in intricate fashions with beautiful pieces of jewelry and flowers. Her hair is always kept from her face, displaying her deep blue eyes, set perfectly on either side of her long, narrow nose on her creamy, oval face. Her pale pink, full lips are rarely seen turned down in a frown, but little people know the smiles showing off her sparkling white teeth are hardly ever true. Jocelyn’s tall in stature, lean and healthy. Her poise and pride makes her seem taller then she really is, but it’s how she was taught to be. Stand tall, stand proud. Usually, she’ll be wearing long, flowing gowns, adorned beautiful with intricate patterns and trinkets. She is the embodiment of what royalty are speculated to appear as, beautiful, poised and elegant in their fine garments. Weapon » Jocelyn, although her country is quite a bit more advanced in technology then some of the other countries, chose at a young age to learn the art that is magic. In a secret pocket made in all of her dresses she has her wand tucked in safely, easily accessible if by chance she needed it. It’s a beautiful wand, golden with a carving of a vine wrapped around the handle and little red rubies, cut to appear as red roses. As it's more acceptable for a lady in the royal court, Jocelyn learned white magic, healing magic, rather than offensive magic. It would be improper otherwise.♦♦♦on the insideRelationship status » Married Personality » Born and raised as a member of the royal family of Wistera, Jocelyn was taught from a young age the many things a Princess must learn. Etiquette, dancing, mathematics, languages, et cetera, and of course, the essentials on how to rule a country, in case of the unlikely event she would come to the throne. She was a smart child, praised by her tutors on her intelligence and aptitude to knowledge and learning. She was smart, above average, and her intelligence just continued to escalate beyond average as she herself grew into a young woman. But when her second brother was born, Leon, her intelligence was thought of nothing compared to his.
As a child and young woman, Jocelyn was a very happy girl. She was cheery, always laughing, dancing and smiling. She adored balls and events in the royal palace, loved to twirl around the dance floor and meet all the interesting nobles who attended her fathers frequently held dances. She in turn was adored by all her met her; they couldn’t help be drawn to the sunny blonde child and her sparkling smile. She was like a magnet, no one could resist her.
She had only started to change into the woman she is today when she was less of a girl and more of a woman, and a rather unwanted ‘gift’ in her perspective was donned on the royal family. A baby boy in fact. Although Lucille was already four, when she was born not such a fuss was made. Leon was so special, because he was a boy. And the second child born of love from her father’s second wife, unlike her and Nero who were born of a mother no one liked. Young and naïve from her sheltered childhood, she begrudged the little ball of tears that he seemed to be. He was gifted, smarter than even her at an early age, and took all the attention from her as if she didn’t matter any more. He was quite obviously the King’s new favourite. She was not pleased.
Jocelyn’s sunny demeanor started to fade with age, as both she and Leon began to age. It’s not like many people noticed. They now saw her as a fine young lady, beautiful, elegant. But she was no longer the gifted sunny child she once was. The title had been given to another. She did not let her dislike for her younger brother show on the surface to anybody, not even her beloved older brother Nero with whom she was closer to than anyone else in the world. She treated him like a younger brother, although both knew that they had an invisible barrier, not only because of their age, but their mothers as well.
Eventually, the day Jocelyn knew would come someday, did indeed come. She was to be married to a man named Ferris Storne. She didn’t care much, she knew she would have to be married, and it would never be for love. The events just continued to harden her surface further, transforming her from naïve to cunning. But the actual event that made her what she is, a woman of no-nonsense. One who you do not want to get on the bad side of, because you will feel her wrath full fledged like a goddess who has deemed you unworthy. That event was the death of her beloved brother Nero, who she blamed on Leon. Nero’s death broke her, she was no longer a child but a woman who had a goal and that goal was to get the throne, instead of Leon. Although all attempts failed her dislike for her younger brother was more evident than it was before, he was the reason Nero was dead and she would never forgive him. Ever.
Jocelyn in the present day is cunning, clever, a little devious and one you would not like to mess with. She’s not quick to anger but if you do end up disturbing the fire, it’s flames will swallow you whole and spit out your ashes. But if you happen to be on her good side…you will experience such kindness and loyalty of which you’ve never known before. Devilishly evil and angelically good all at once, Jocelyn’s one to confuse ever the most of perceptive and understanding of people in this world. History » Since birth Jocelyn has been one to captivate others attention with her golden locks and sweet smile. She was loved by almost everyone she encountered, often commented on to the King about what a lovely young girl she was, so sweet, so beautiful and sunny. She was often seem at functions and balls where most children didn’t venture, talking with the adult guests and twirling around the ballroom floor gracefully with her brother. Like the other royal children, she was considered remarkable. As well as remarkable, she was praised often by her tutors in almost every subject, considered gifted and wise beyond her young years. Of course, all this was taken from her when her youngest brother, now the King Leon, was born. The child prodigy.
Jocelyn’s mother, the King’s first wife died after giving birth to her, but Jocelyn did not miss her. She did not know her, so it hardly effected her. Everything she heard of the woman wasn’t pleasant, but she had her brother, Nero and her father, King Elroy. Jocelyn and Nero, only being a few years apart, were practically inseparable. They spent every spare they had together, they had a relationship much the same as the one Lucille and Leon share. The sets of siblings had an invisible barrier between them. Because of their obvious age difference, and because of their different mothers, the two late Queens of Wistera and wives of King Elroy.
The Princess of Wistera grew into a lovely young woman. When she was twelve, her younger, and only, sister was born, Lucille. Lucille looked much like her, unlike Nero who she knew secretly worried that he didn’t resemble his family. Although they were more than a decade apart she got along fairly well with Lucille, possibly not to the extent of sisters, and not even close to her relationship with Nero or Lucille’s with Leon but they were tolerant of each other and did not hold ill feelings.
At sixteen the bane of her existence was brought into the world by her stepmother. The little golden-haired ball of love that everyone adored named Leon, who would unknowingly to her be the King of Wistera someday, instead of Nero. She was stripped of her title as the favourite, and the smartest and cutest almost immediately, all this being placed on the infant. As they grew both their intelligence levels increased, but Leon’s did at a rate Jocelyn’s did not. Leaving her not considered gifted anymore, because her young brother was smarter than the average adult. Needless to say, Jocelyn was not pleased with this new development and did not attempt to even get to know her young brother, having immediate distaste for him that she did not show publicly at first. She wanted nothing to do with him. She already had a brother, and one was enough for her.
In her twentieth year, Nero uncharacteristically when riding one day with Leon, at one of their summer manors. Jocelyn didn’t think much of it, Nero could do as he pleased with their younger brother, she wouldn’t stop him. The two were supposed to be back before their dinner, but they weren’t. Of course, panic arose and a search party was sent out. They were not found, and the search was supposed to continue the next day when the run rose. Although, this was not needed as the next morning as rather shocked looking Leon emerged from the forests, making a beeline for his father, the King’s, office. This was the beginning of the worst day of Jocelyn’s entire life. The royal family was called into the office that evening; Nero had died. The softed soil from the recent rainfall had crumbled under Nero’s feet, and he fell off the cliff to his death.
Jocelyn, of course being closest to Nero who she loved beyond words, was distraught and immediately accused Leon of Nero’s death. It wasn’t like them to go riding together, they hardly ever spent time together, and never alone! It was preposterous. Almost immediately after her accusation was out of her pale pink lips she was shut up by her King, her father, forbidden to say such things to her younger brother, her family. Nero’s murder in her mind. Her dislike for Leon had only grew ten fold that very moment, and she would never, ever forgive him.
The year following Nero’s death, Jocelyn was betrothed and married to a Nobel man by the name of Ferris Storne. This hardly mattered to her, she was well aware of the fact that as the Princess of Wistera, she could not marry for love. She hadn’t even allowed that thought to enter her head for more than a second, as it would be poison to her mind, she was sure. Dutifully she married him, no complaints of her part, only obedience like a proper Princess and lady. Not long after she was pregnant with her first child, Gemma. Jocelyn was aware that now with her brother gone, Leon would be named heir of the throne. She did not want that to happen, under any circumstances. Nero’s murder on the throne, as her King? The idea made her eyes burn. She tried everything she could to inherit the thorn instead, including the hope that the fact she was married and had a child (meaning another heir) would help her chances. But alas, all attempts failed and it was said by King Elroy that at 17, he would step down and Leon would take over rule of the country.
At 24 she gave birth to her second girl, Lavina. Although hard on her children to succeed, she was a loving, caring mother who gave them what they needed to survive. They did not resent her for her strictness, understanding that she did it would of their own best interest. She would be the mother to them that she never had for herself. Jocelyn’s stepmother died after that, the mother of Lucille and Leon. She was not particularly close to the woman but she respected her and felt the loss. She had made her father happy, which was more than her mother ever did for him, other than provide him with two healthy children, although one was lost forever. Jocelyn took over as head of the house, doing everything the Queen would normally do. She was rather good at it, having been so over achieving as a child in all her lessons she learned more than anyone could ever have known, just by simply observing how things were done. When she was 31, she had her third and final child, Justin. He was her hope, the belief that one day he would be on the throne. Her very son, the King instead of the undeserving murderer. She named him Justin, for Justice on Nero’s death. Jocelyn pushed him harder than her daughters, but only for the hope that he’d inherit the throne. He did not blame her, if anyone knew Jocelyn better than Nero did, it was her very own children.
In present day, at thirty-six, with Gemma 15, Lavina 13, and Justin at 5, Jocelyn is still the “Queen” of the house, taking care of things and using her position to hopefully push Justin towards his ultimate destination. Her relationship with her arranged husband, Ferris is to say the least, a little shaky, but as a married couple thrown together at such a young age they do well with each other, if not a little hostile at times. Leon is still on the throne, and Jocelyn still blames him for Nero’s death, and she always will. She’s a stubborn woman, nothing will change her mind once it’s set. Replacing Nero, Jocelyn has her oldest daughter, Gemma, as her confider. Her little best friend as well as daughter. And if Jocelyn’s certain of anything, she will get her Justice for Nero’s sake, with her little, sunny son named Justin. ♦♦♦

Hysu'lae ♥♥♥
♥♥♥basic characteristicsPlayed by » billies jeans Alias » Isabelle Age » Twenty-two Gender » Female County » Hysu'lae Class » Pirate Queen Level » Special Occupation » (Pirate) Queen of Hysu'lae Religion » Atheist♥♥♥on the outsideHeight » 5'9" Hair color » Auburn Eye color » Chocolate brown Overall appearance » Weapon » Isabelle carries around both a revolver and her preferred weapon- a cutlass. Her revolver is a simple revolver, however, has her named carved onto one side with other various designs dug into the surface. Her cutlass, always polished to the most beautiful of silver and sharp as a diamond, is always carried at her side. At the bottom of the pommel is her initials (originally those of the person who she stole it from) and is held is a black leather scabbard at all times.♥♥♥on the insideRelationship status » Single Personality » A woman known for making rash decisions without making them through. Any idea is a good one, at first, and Isabelle will follow through without properly thinking it over. Both a positive but also a serious downfall on many occasions. Isabelle rules with a firm, iron fist as she sees fit. Knowing full well that if she rules, as a woman, intimidation is one of the only ways to be taken seriously.
Isabelle is still a relatively kindhearted woman. As she is female, after all and therefore hasn't lost all female qualities to her rough and tough exterior. A well-respected captain among her crew, Isabelle gets along quite well with each member. Because all work and no play makes Isabella a sad girl, she tends to tag along with her men and hit the taverns for a good ol' time. She swears, however, that as much as it seems so- she is no alcoholic.
History » As a child, Isabelle lived a horribly dull and uneventful life. Doing the same old routine day by day left Isabelle wanting more. The only entertainment the young girl found in Hysu'lae was watching the men load their ships at the port. Finding herself rush there every day to watch pirates sail by and come in and out of St. Theon. It looked so utterly fun, so rewarding and ever-so exciting. When she was seventeen, Isabelle ran away from home in hopes of finding something better- something exciting. She knew, way before she ran away, that she would be a pirate. Would sail the seas like some scalawag and fight in good old sword fights. Unfortunately, women were and always have been believed bad luck upon the ships. Therefore, if Isabelle did in fact want to live her life as a pirate, she would need to pretend to be a man.
Isabelle quickly discovered her new life. Being Issac, a cabin-boy for the ever frightful Captain William "The Dastardly" Hearts. Getting exactly what she had wished for, Isabelle or 'Issac' at the time learned everything a true pirate did. Being on of the best sword fighters on Captain Hearts ship, Isabelle earned much respect upon the ship. So much in fact that when Captain Heart fell ill from gangrene and passed on, Isabelle was given the title of Captain upon the ship. She grew very used to the act of being male, almost forgetting her true gender during her charade. That was until a long-time first mate on the ship, Ian Woods, discovered that Isabelle was a woman. A respectable and kind friend as he was, Ian offered to keep Isabelle's secret.
Never a coward, however, soon later Isabelle told the entire crew the truth. Of course, there was chaos and outrage among the men. Once a few of the 'troublemakers' were taken care of, Isabelle's crew decided her gender had no effect on how great of a captain she was. Not much time later, Isabelle and her crew went on to be rather famous among all of Aerydreth. The stole gold from the 'impenetrable' Iron- a fort in Sorellis. Of course, after taking some of the most impossible to obtain gold, Isabelle and her crew's heads got a tad large. And the feeling of invincibility followed but also, the need to sit back and relax.
So, Isabelle and her pirate armada of the three ships: he Red Rodger (her original ship), the Merry Jane, and the Eagle all set off for Hysu'lae. An island seemed like the most appealing, and most pirate-like place to drop anchor temporarily. Once the armada landed on the island, it was a painfully short amount of time before the island was theirs, under the command of Isabelle herself. Of course, wanting some place for her quickly growing crew but also to help those who already settled in Hysu'lae. It's a slight balance between the citizens and her crew- usually her crew first.
