I'm not sure if the actors/actresses have been chosen yet, but aside from that, who do you think would play the part, or look teh part of an Avatar character.
Personally, I think Horikita Maki would make a great Toph. When I just look into her face, she looks like I imagined Toph to. And it helps that she's short and tiny, too. sweatdrop
As for Zuko (or he'd be a good Sokka, too o.O), I think Jiro Wang. 3nodding
Any other opinions?

Ooh, those two do seem to fit the part of Toph and Sokka. =D
I dunno who would be good for the other characters, though. I know, lik, zero actors. xD *oblivious to media* I think I'd be fine as long as they look similar to the characters, though. Then again, I would probably have a hard time adjusting to the different voice. :/

Yeah, the different voices would be weird since we're all so used to them by now...

do you think that they will go with asian actors of go with american ones? i would love to see asian actors, because it would look better and more like an anime. but i suspect they'll go with american ones b/c its an american audience.

I also think they would probably go with American actors.
If it were my choice, however, I would go with Asian actors, because it would just go with the Asian feel the show has.
Non-Asian actors would just look WEIRD to me. :/

Yeah, asian actors would look a lot better, and it would kind of...put more new asian actors out there into the American movie/actor knowledge, kind of like how Harry Potter did with the british kids who play the characters.
Bryke did say that they haven't started looking for actors yet, that the kids who would be aang and katara and Zuko and all in the future are now sitting somewhere in calssrooms^^ That was a few months ago, though...
But I think there's a high chance that they'll be american actors, though. Oh well...As long as they do a good job with casting both in appearance and personality, I'll be happy no matter what race.
