Name Blithe Ebony Harlequin [Formerly Blithe Winddale]
Age Eighteen
Gender Female
Country Hysu'lae
Class Rouge
Level Starter Tier
Occupation Owner of a small pub called 'Winddale's Tavern'.
Religion ---

▀▀▀ external features

Height 5'6"
Hair color Dirty Blonde
Eye color Teal
Overall Appearance Blithe's hair is always worn down, held in place by bandanna's which always rest upon her head. Various jewels and shells hang around her neck, bangles swing loosely around her small wrists every single day. Upon her right arm are various pieces of art tattooed into her skin which she has obtained over many years. Since her tavern is right along the shore, Blithe takes advantage of the beautiful sun and of the wonderful breeze from the sea by wearing as little as possible. Commonly wearing loose, flowing skirts or short skirts and shorts. Generally she shows off her flat, tan stomach with cropped shirts and ripped t-shirts which unfortunately causes her to get much attention from her... male visitors.
Weapon A silver dagger always attached to her waistband. It has her original family name 'Winddale' etched onto the always glimmering blade. It is safely kept in a dark brown leather sheath, her full-name inscribed upon the case in golden stitching. Underneath, the Spanish saying 'El que la sigue, la consigue' is written in elegant letters beneath. Meaning: He who follows it attains it (You get what you work for).

▀▀▀ internal features

Relationship status Single
Personality Blithe is a girl who firmly believes that there is good in everyone. That a person who is evil through and through does not exist. Believing that those who are bad simply have not found the good in themselves, that it does exist but it is keep deep under the surface. Blithe makes her daily mission one to bring out the best in everyone she meets- to bring a smile even to a strangers face.

A light-hearted girl who is true to herself and with a firm head upon her broad shoulders; Blithe is well-liked among the community. With her common regulars who stop by the tavern daily, Blithe commonly makes jokes and enjoys a good laugh. Even to the rudest of her customers she is ever-so polite and kind. Knowing that truly good conquers bad and she lives by that statement everyday.

History Blithe was born into the Winddale family on a very, very hectic day. Blithe was born in the capital city of Kes'sarria, Lue'er . Blithe's small family, only herself and her parents, lived right near the harbor where her father worked as a fisherman. Her mother was a Witch, training carefully and privately whilst raising her only daughter. The tiny family lived happily, supplying themselves with the steady income which came from her father's prosperous fishing career. They all shared the same appearance- fair hair, gold skin and piercing teal-blue eyes. Because of how they all looked, the Winddale family stood out like sore thumbs among the large number of true blood Kes'sarrians. In fact, the Winddale family stood out among the Kes'sarrians in more ways that one...

When whispers of war first began, fear spread throughout the city of Lue'er. It struck the Winddale family with much force- they knew they needed to leave Kes'sarria. They planned for months of how they would leave, would go somewhere where the terrors of war could not be reached. Unfortunately, the family soon realized with much dismay, that no place in all of Aerydreth was safe from war. Unsure of what to do, the family briefly gave up on their plans of fleeing their home, their realm where that had spent their whole lives. However, when the city soon spoke of plotting against Wistera- the Winddales knew the time to leave was then.

They fled to the island of Hysu'lae, to the capital city, which at the time was still called St. Theon. They Winddale family almost immediately established themselves among the community. Blithe's father bought himself his own tavern, entitling it with the respected family name of 'Winddale'. With much pride, the family kept up the pub until it grew to much popularity. Blithe loved her new home, her new city- she had never been so happy before. Then, Isabelle took over the island and things somewhat changed. At first, the nerves which had only existed back in Kes'sarria arose. Then, those feelings passed at the firm hand of Isabelle became one which the family respected and became used to having. Only months before, Blithe's mother and father set off to travel the cities which had not yet been touched by war. As a gift for her eighteenth birthday, Mr Winddale left the tavern to Blithe. Now having money to spend- her parents saw fit to explore their home. A silly thing to do at such a time, the ridiculous dreams were shut down when the Winddale's were trapped in Sorellis, where they now live rather unhappily. Blithe, of course, worries over her parents. However, letters are sent back and fourth between them and therefore, Blithe is currently enjoying her freedom. Starting off fresh- Blithe changed her name (just for fun, she says) and is now training in hopes of joining in Isabelle's forces.

Basic Characteristics
        Name• Astarte Naunet Hatshepsut
        Age• Twenty
        GenderFemale
        Country• Kes'sarria
        Class• Mage
        Level• Starter Tier
Occupation• A seamstress in a nice little shop in the Market called 'Hotep', after the family name of the owner.
        Religion• ---

External Features
        Height• 5"7
        Hair color• Brown-Black
        Eye color• Light Green
Overall Appearance• Astarte is a very lean, light skinned girl, with mid-back black-brown hair and light, sparkling green eyes. Overall, she's a fairly attractive young woman. She wears common clothing, a white linen, draped and fitted dress, a golden, decorated scarf tied at the hip. Normal leather sandals that have strings tied up her calf protect her feet from the hot sand of her home country. She doesn't care much for jewelry or decoration, but on occasion might wear a pair of golden bracelets or perhaps a pretty little pendant.
Weapon• A staff and a nice variety of elemental scrolls stashed away.

Internal Features
        Relationship status• Widowed
Personality• The first thing that pops into everyone’s head when they think of the girl Astarte, is that she’s as mature as can be for a mere twenty-year-old. Circumstances she’s been dragged through relentlessly in her life forced her to be so; mature, levelheaded, and responsible. In her dealings with others, she’s always described as serene. Kind, and sweet, unable to think badly of others, despite if they really care rotten to the core. Astarte’s respectful to her elders, no matter if they’re fifty years older than her, or just by one year, she shows them complete and utter politeness.

Quiet is another way to describe her. She’s not the one barging into others affairs. Not the one bowing in the spotlight. She prefers to be in the background, not noticed and left alone by others. She doesn’t like charity and would rather work through things on her own, causing her to almost never approach even the dearest of friends for help. Astarte’s unique in the way she doesn’t relentlessly follow the fashions, and is wooed by attractive men. She’s hardly fazed by many things anymore, but there are things out there that will make her smile like no other can.

History• Born and raised in the very city she resides in currently, Lue'er, the capital of Kes'sarria has always been Astarte’s home. Her father was a merchant, and her mother a seamstress who taught her all she knows. Her family is large, consisting of four older brothers, Astarte being the runt of the bunch, but loved nevertheless by her brave, strong older brothers. As a child, she was practically attached to her mothers side. She had such deep admiration for her, and as any little girl does in her lifetime, wanted to be just like her. Her father worked a lot, but was a jolly man that spent as much time as he could with his children. She had a happy childhood, filled with an abundance of warm memories.

At the age of sixteen, she was betrothed to a family’s friend, Ammon, who was also a good childhood friend of Astarte despite him being just a few years older than her. She didn’t mind being married to him, she figured it was better than becoming engaged to a complete stranger with whom she knew nothing about, and ending up disliking him and her life with him. Although she only thought of him as a good friend at first, she grew to love him as her husband. She left her families home with tearful eyes and went to live with Ammon. She was very happy, and took up a job at the seamstress shop in the market to occupy herself. Then Ammon enlisted, saying he felt in necessary, he wanted to help protect his home land.

Ammon died in battle not long after he enlisted. Along with him, two of her older brothers also passed away. Needless to say it was a chaotic time for Astarte’s family. Her mother and father offered her shelter back at her old family home, which was now only occupied by the two but she refused, not wanting to take the charity of her mother and father and deciding to get out on her own. She took up training, becoming a mage and found she really enjoyed working with magic. She started working at the seamstress shop more and became self-sufficient, all the while silently grieving the loss of her beloved husband.

Leeson;; Ayden

A Soldier For The Army Of Kes'sarria
A Heart As Cold As Those Eyes, A Sword As Sharp As Those Words

Everything On Paper

x x || Your Lips Should Say: Ayden Leeson is what it says on all of my papers, but I won't respond to anything but 'Ayd'.

x x || Been At This A While: I'm twenty, but that doesn't mean that I'm too young to earn respect.

x x || Under All Those Clothes: Despite the long hair, I am in fact a male.

x x || Loyal Only To: A proud, pure Kes'sarrian. I would not have it any other way.

x x || My Specialty: I am a Swordsman, as it is in my blood.

x x || Climbing The Ranks: I may be in the Starter Tier, but once I have been better recognized, that should change.

x x || Toil The Days Away: I have very recently signed into the army. Before that, however, I wasn't truly employed- my father has been setting me up for signing up since birth, practically.

x x || Hidden In This House Of Worship: ---

Just Keep Staring

x x || A Tower To You: I'm a strong, thin, six-foot-two.

x x || Around Me, It Swirls: Completely black, from root to tip, aside from the shock of white that hangs in my face.

x x || A Veil For The Truth: My eyes are a very light grey color, similar to that of dirtied snow.

x x || From Head To Toe: Firstly, I should note the obvious. The combination of my hair and my eyes- black and grey -has certainly proven my lineage- I am undoubtedly Kes'sarrian, and I doubt a single soul would combat that.

Oftentimes, people are put off by my appearance. I should be as sweet and charming as others, but it's simply not in my blood. My hair is long, oh-so-long, and oftentimes better kept than the hair of any girl I've encountered. My fingers are often found buried in it, twirling a lock or brushing it away from my face- my hair is the source of almost every nervous habit I indulge, such is why I keep the indulgence. I feel so awkward, socially, where others shine… So I am often nervous, and found avoiding crowds.

I’m tall and willowy, with curves that speak for more than a simple trace of femininity- the hair, and my smooth facial features don’t exactly help, either. My body is thin, lithe, loose-jointed with a talent for quick, flexible movements. I am good at covering others, as I am talented at matching movements and parrying blows- but don't expect me to charge right in. I'm a little too much of a thinker for such foolishness. My build is slight, and I cover it with close- fitting attire, for I don't much like being hindered by annoying frivolities and 'detail'.

The clothing I wear is tight, and accentuates the fact that I am so effortlessly tall. I dress in a darker clothing, blacks and blues. It is a little off-putting I suppose, but mainly it is because I like to frame my pale skin, as I find it to be one of the few features of mine I truly like. I look striking, often threatening, and so many take my antisocial demeanor to the extreme, finding something close to 'scary'. Hah.

x x || Tools Of The Trade: I am rarely found with out one of my father's rapiers at my hip, but I find myself most comfortable with a standard, balanced, longsword. That style of swordplay is far more forgiving.

It Takes A Key

x x || Eligibility: Hah! I'm quite single.

x x || My Own Disclaimer: Like a wounded dog, I am both vicious and weakened. I have endured enough, in this life, to turn anyone's face pallid, but I do not come off as such. I am more like a human shield, my sole purpose in life to defend my country, my land. Truly, I know that I am just another one of the Queen's pawns, a nameless face to sacrifice... But I do not mind, in some submissive way. I dream of being close to the power, one day being more than a pawn.

I can force smiles, pretend to be nice, attempt to be social- but it is all just a facade, really. An odd way of protecting myself from suffering another blow, either emotionally or physically. I make myself impenetrable, one wall, the body in front of every arrow shot at my companions. All that matters is my land's prosperity, the completion of this war. I will do as as I am bidden, weave my swords with dainty slashes falling like ice onto chilling flesh. I control the blade, twist it's uses in ways few have ever experienced. I am truly frightening, when defending my one and only.

But that is what I am. Defense. Something akin to a bodyguard. I am not the attacker, I am not the type to run headlong into things without deciding the need, first. I am the stalwart guide that directs my land's anger, channels into our purpose. I have no anger, no seething fury in me... I am cold, no fire burns for hatred. I am icy and merciless inside, and I need only the faintest sign of possible harm to my country to be provoked into back into my icy state. I know I can be terrifying, when I am doing what I was born for, fighting.

But fear is my greatest weapon.

x x || Turn These Pages: Until I reached about five years of age, my father was a general in the altogether unused army of Kes'sarria. He stepped down only because of my mother's death, and he did it to 'tend' to me.

I was a very girlish sort of child, as my father had never been home, and my mother had treated me more like a daughter, raising me the way she had been raised. All of that was abruptly turned around when my father took her place, as his parental style was more akin to 'training' than anything else. I had my hair cut, my clothing changed, my toys and gifts all removed. On my sixth birthday, my father put a dagger into my hand and had me start to skirmish with him out back.

I was isolated from the other children, taught to cook dinner, sleep, and train. Those were my only duties for as long as I can remember with him, and it never seemed to phase him that I was a child, not a soldier. Every misstep during my lessons with him would get me smacked with the flat of the blade, every time I requested something not usually allotted to me, I was banished to my room without food until my father decided I was 'deserving' again.

By the time I was thirteen, I was beating him at his own game. I would never strike him, but whenever he would come at me, he was disarmed within moments. As you could imagine, he didn't take kindly to it. He began to see flaws in everything I was doing, in every style of swordplay he was having me versed in, and the blows dealt with his sword became heavier and more routine.

I was sick of it, entirely fed up, and on my nineteenth birthday I told him I was leaving. I was going to go join the army, and I was leaving him behind to take care of himself. I had never seen him truly angry until that day, and when I close my eyes, the thought still scares me. He is the man that has hardened me into ice. I was then kept there for one more lingering year, until I could disarm him every day, every time he came at me, for three months. Now, finally free of that sickening perfection and staggering expectations, I'm headed to the only thing I could ever truly be good at- war.

---
OoC Notes://
I know that he's not technically in the army until I fill out the little form and all, so if you'd rather I change that until then, let me know.

» Overall Appearance Ania is commonly recognized by her gingery sienna hair and iron armor. Her orange hair is usually seen tied up in a messy ponytail to allow her to work better. Her rich brown eyes radiate warmth and invite people in. Ania is constantly wearing her trademark smile. Unlike many other young women of her age, Ania prefers armor over dresses. Her midnight blue cape is recognizable by the townspeople from miles away.

» Weapon Rischio is Ania's trusty sword that goes with her everywhere. Rischio is a family heirloom from Ania's great-grandfather who was once a well-known warrior. It is easy to handle due to its light weight and ideal size. Rischio has a bronze hilt that is wrapped in fine black leather that is very comfortable to the grip. It's edges are very sharp despite its old age thanks to Ania's meticulous caring for the weapon. The bronze guard of the sword is the only part that displays its old age. The copper is dented and its color is much darkened as compared to the fine hue of the hilt. She also possesses a short-knife at her right hip which is more for every-day purposes but it can also be used as a weapon like a dagger. Ania is also quite comfortable with hand-to-hand combat and can easily take down an average man.

» Personality Ania is a bright girl with a sunny outlook. She is quick-witted and very friendly. Her personality often draws others in and many townsfolk recognize her as 'that happy delivery girl'. Ania is very motivated and driven. She works hard at her part-time job, making deliveries for the local blacksmith. Her free time is spent volunteering for the church or training. Ania likes the quiet and often rests in the meadow in the woods. Sometimes she isn't very good at expressing her emotions in words and prefers actions over verbally spoken words.

» History Born as the only girl in a family of four males, Ania was raised rather roughly. Her three brothers treated her like another brother, despite her parents' attempt to raise her to be more of a lady. Even when her mother bought her nice dolls to play with they only ended up on her daughter's bedroom floor. Ania preferred to play war with her brothers...

When she was nine-years-old, Ania's mother passed away, plagued by an unknown disease. Since the death of her beloved mother Ania ceased her childish claims of so-called 'boyhood' and took over the feminine tasks around the house. She cooked, cleaned, did the laundries and took care of her new baby brother who was only one-year-old at the time. This experience finally pressed the feminine qualities into Ania although not by too much. Of course, she was always up for a sword fight with one of her brothers or a game of adventure, trekking though the woods. This happy chapter of her life would soon be complete with a violent and bloody end.

When she was thirteen, her eldest brother enlisted in the army only to tragically lose his life in a fight for his countries. It was then that she made her decision. Ania wished to carry out her brother's wish to protect civilians of their home country. She had tried so hard not to cry over his mutilated corpse but the horrid sight of that which once was her brother could evoke nothing in her but sickness. She had wretched at the gore. Her brother's brass signet had been left for her... Ania faithfully wears the ruby ring up to this day. She swore on that day that her brother had not died in vain. She would live for his sake. She would fulfill his life when he could not. Thus, Ania resolved to become a Paladin as her brother had once wished.

Currently, Ania is in the midst of sharpening her own skills. She works under Jaler, the city's renowned black smith despite his young age.

The Makings of the Man
Name: Leonard "Leo" Æstar
Age:21
Gender: Male
Country: Wistera
Class: Swordsman
Level: Starter Tier
Occupation: Foreman of Tree Chompers Lumberjack company
Religion: ---

That which you see; The animus
Height: 5'11"
Hair color: Orange
Eye color: BlackUser Image
Overall Appearance: With bright orange hair and eyes with no discernible iris or pupil Leo's first impression often has quite the large impact on people. Colors of clothing don't matter to him, he wears whatever he feels like because it's more about functionality. Often jackets with hoods lined with fur are found on him with his favorite bright orange shirt underneath. On the shirt is a pair of crossed axes under a traditional bomb image with a skull engraved on it. Of course these images are self stitched and terrifyingly bright green in color. Thick pants and boots are just standard for his line of work. A life of hard work has given him quite an impressive physique, which he has never complained about. His eye patch is kept to a thin material, more for keeping light out than hiding his eye.
Weapon: Though Leo favors the larger two-handed variety of swords, he also has a smaller one handed falchion.
Hidden Deep below; The anima
Relationship status: Divorced
Personality: It's easy to say that Leo is a cynic. With a sarcastic humor and a 'things can only get worse' sort of attitude one would surprised to find that most people enjoy his company. He's often found laughing at himself and his 'misfortune' and has been known to be arrogant. He jokes with just about anyone around him, as he is a friendly person. Never has he met a person he can't get along with, but that doesn't mean he likes everyone. Brave and fearless to the point of stupidity fellow lumberjacks tell tales of him diving to save people from falling trees. Casually impartial to most matters involving his family, he seems careless but hates it when people think that he is apathetic or uncaring.

History: Early life involved a lot of moving around, from the city to the coast, back to the city and finally near the east end of the county. His father changed jobs constantly, and the stress of moving had just about literally killed his mother, who died when he was 10 during the move to the east. Over the next few years he fell in love with a girl and married her at a young age. Barely being 16 the marriage lasted a few years before it fell apart and he moved to the mountains to begin what would be an illustrious career in cutting down trees. Hard physical labor shaped his body and mind, even saving a few fellow workers from death as trees and limbs plummeted to the ground. During one event, when he was about 19 and first starting his trade, a splinter from a tree came into brutal contact with his right eye. Aside from being in pain, Leo cracked jokes about how he should try to work with his eyes closed. Instead of being blinded, the splinter marred his black eye to make it slightly grey in appearance and sensitive to light which is why he wears the eye patch.

Since his eyes already make people uneasy, Leo prefers to keep the patch on even at night when he could easily take it off. He also thinks it makes him look pretty bad a**. After these last few years of working, and the massacre at The Shaded Plains, Leo made up his mind to do whatever he could for his country. Well, that and his recently deceased father had always wanted him to make something of himself. Not that Leo ever cared about what he thought, but it would be a welcome change.

Black and White

Identity: Asmadeus Daedalus

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Current Location
: Kes'sarria (Wisterian-Born)

Affiliation
: Archer

Level: Starter Tier

Occupation: None

Religion: ---

Reality and Hard Truth

Height: 5’11

Hair color: Black

Eye color: Amber

Overall Appearance:

Asmadeus is slimly built with slightly muscular arms. He appears athletically fit though he has small scars and scratches across his body. A large tattoo of a coiled serpent runs across his back though appears worn and almost faint, yet clearly visible. He wears casual clothing, generally a loosely worn short, though it is often covered by a worn green hooded robe.

Weapon
:

Hung across his back is a large ebony bow that seems odd due to its jagged shape. Along the bow are imprints of serpents. A quiver rests ontop of the bow, hung by a strap that’s sewed onto the green robe. A jagged short sword (or just a long dagger) is strapped to his belt. It’s hilt is emerald green and is embedded with green gems. The blade is kept clean and glimmering, designs of fire carved into the metal.

Or... Is it?

Relationship status: Single

What I Am:

A walking paradox is the phrase often used to describe Asmadeus. He’s usually silent and anti-social though when he’s with people he knows, he seems to warm up though not a lot. This doesn’t happen often, unfortunately. However, when he is around someone he holds of great importance in his life, he acts like a completely different person. When it comes to females, Asmadeus seems more willing to talk with them if they give off a good first impression. This is hard to set as a standard though since his judgment is capricious.

Asmadeus is still stuck in a childhood phase, unsure of how to deal with the worlds views and ideas. Superficially, he comes off as cold and independent. He strives to show that he is a cynic and a realist. Doing this usually causes him to sound arrogant, though not unintentional, and he tends to look down on people because of that. Inside, he’s a hopeless romantic who struggles to keep his self image while maintaining his outside image. Unsure of whether he can truly accept seeing life as “cold and harsh,” Asmadeus ends up confusing himself.

Because he’s romantic figure, he tends to be self sacrificing but until the moment where situations become that grave, he acts indifferent to death and despair.

Do you really want to know? It's nothing interesting:

Born in Wisteria, Asmadeus was brought up in a well off family. Though not a noble, he grew up with a bit conceited, letting his family’s status get to his head. His father was also a military man and often tried to teach the young boy how to fight with a pole arms. Of course, these lessons always failed and while Asmadeus picked up a few things he generally showed a lack of interest. Instead, he picked up the bow at age fifteen and when his father noticed his talent with it, exhilarated as he had been desperate to force his son to follow in his footsteps as a military man, sent him to a fellow officer. There, Asmadeus was studied and it was agreed upon that upon turning seventeen, he would be recruited into the archery sector of the army.

It was here that he felt somewhat comfortable. Though he had little encounters with women, Asmadeus eagerly trained to master the bow and before long, he set up a little society within the archery sector. Named the Serpents after his favorite animal, the society acted as small time assassins in their free time. Though they did not get any serious jobs, it’s members were kept happy and loyal.

For reasons unsaid to anyone but himself, Asmadeus deserted the Wisterian archery unit a few days before his 21st birthday. As retrieval units were quickly dispatched to capture him, the man quickly smuggled into the borders of Kes'sarria. It has only been a few days since his arrival and he wanders from town to town, too noble to beg. Recently, he has reached the capital, Lue’er.

I wonder...

♣Nheira is a very tall and well built man. His outer appearance adds to his effect of being deadly and feared in the battle field. Scars riddle around his body which gives proof to his long harsh life as a boy and teenager. His darkened hair and eyes seem to have a strange effect of making most men shudder and his solid face make most allies even avoid him.

His armor is darkened with what most could assume bloodstains of previous quarrels. Not to heavy for him since he's a giant amongst most men, but yet still nearly impenetrable, his armor is used as a weapon itself to defeat many of his opponents. So if you see that man carrying the giant great sword with a mark of death upon it, make sure to turn fast and run the other way.♣

»Weapon«
♣Nheira Carries only one weapon and that is his fabled 2 handed great sword. The sword itself is powerful enough to kill any man by just viewing it, of course this is an exaggeration but in a way very true. It's sheer size makes most opponents question their loyalty to whatever faction they hail under.♣

»Internal Features«
»Relationship status«
♠Nheira could hardly get a girl to sit next to him yet alone fell and compassion to his terrifying appearance. Although it is rumored that he has been caught gazing at a few women when he thinks himself to be alone♠
»Personality«
♠Nheira spends every waken moment fightign, or training to fight. This makes most that aren't pushed away by his appearance avoid him if they hadn't done so already. Quick to lead and slow to follow, Nheira tends to bend rules, and bodies, to fit his own needs, because of this he tends to find himself fighting his own faction at times. Serious mannered, and trained to kill and speak later makes it hard for most to converse with him. Rumors still surround his ability to think however, Nheira has been questioned to be a mute or deaf by many of his superiors and employers.♠
»History«
♠Nheira started as any good boy would. He would help his father during the week, help his mother on the weekends, and spend what little time he had studying to maybe some day becoming a clergy man on doctor. This of course came to a crashing end the day he was caught and imprisoned one day as he strolled through the forest near his village. Slave traders had been rumored to scourge the woods, but many gave the thought little to no attention making it impossible for Nheira to know.

Nheira being a fit boy and strong enough to cut trees down at the age of 9 made him an ideal target to be sold into arena fighting. During his first few fights many speculated that he'd win without any sign of mercy, but they were clearly wrong when he showed signs of doubt before each necessary kill. Something within him would not allow his innocence to be taken in such a brutal and harsh way. A week or two without rations surely changed that however.

Add a few years to the mix of being a child gladiator and full time killer and a new Nheira could be seen. The once boy that was eager to help his father and mother was now an ideal dealer of death and destruction. If it wasn't for his Master's murder, which of course seemed as an accident, he'd still be caged in a cell fighting for the amusement of many men and women of the world. Now however, the creature that one man had created was out and furious for all the pain and anguish he was forced to suffer through in his childhood.♠

× Name × Demitri Wilson Moreau {More commonly known as Demi}
× Age × Eighteen
× Gender × Male
× Country × Hysu'lae
× Class × Performer
× Level × Starter Tier
× Occupation × Village Guard and Fisherman
× Religion × ---

▪ ▫ ▪ Tђε Bσđч σƒ aη Oяρђaη ▪ ▫ ▪

× Height × Five Feet, Nine Inches
× Hair color × Sandy Blonde
× Eye color × Pale Lilac
× Overall Appearance × Demi is one that prefers things to be natural. This extends from his view of nature to how he adorns his body. Typically he is seen in little to nothing. Not that he is a nudest, per se. But you'd sooner find him in nothing but a pair of loose fitting (and somewhat tattered) cloth shorts then a suit of armor or any suit in general. His clothing is as free spirited as he is, as well as loose and fluid as the water that surrounds his homeland.
Typically however his wardrobe consists of black, loose fitting, low-rise, cloth shorts, held on his limber form by a strip of fishing net. Along the netting are various little trinkets and shells that he's collected from the beaches since he was a child, held in place by small gold rings. His chest is typically bare, but when it is adorned with clothing it is either a simple black vest (made of the same material as his shorts) or a loose fitting, sleeveless, white cotton shirt.
× Weapon × Demi's weapon of choice is his beloved whip known as The Viper's Defense. The whip itself is roughly ten feet in length, with a handle made of imported bamboo, and assorted sharpened pieces of coral adorning the end of the whip.

Relationship status: Single
Personality:
Shy. Demitri is a very closed person. He also has a shy streak. But he is not uncaring. Once this boy has attached himself to you, which is an internal ordeal to him he will defend you with his life. This stems from his 'abandonment' as a child, and due to his lack of family. But more then just shyness and clamminess stemmed from this event.

Emotional. Demitri is a very emotional person, especially for a male. He is first to show sadness, first to express fear, but that doesn't leave him weak. He embraces the fact that he is up front with his emotions, and uses them to make decisive actions in situations. His loyalty to his island home and few friends on said island win out over any fear that might spark in his mind, so he will be last to desert a comrade.

Honest. Due to the mystery that clouds Demitri's life from him, the boy has decided to be as honest as he can. Because without honesty there is only lies. And lies create the mystery that is his past. But honesty is a two way street. Just as Demitri is as honest as he can be with everyone he meets (unless the situation demands dishonesty) he expects the same from those around him. He literally will believe just about anything you tell him. Call it gullible, but he prefers to call it absolute trust.

History: Two people. A match made in.. heaven? No. A match destined to fall prey to the evils of this world. Their names? Gabriel Wilson Moreau and Giselle Estelle DeHarding.

Gabriel was a diplomat from the wondrous land of Sorellis. He had traveled with the expedition to colonize the island of Hysu'lae. Once they landed there the expedition soon realized that they were not alone. The island had it's own inhabitants.. people who were not going to be conquered so easily. A small war of sorts began to overwhelm the new 'capitol city' of St. Theon. However at the worst of times is when the foreign diplomat met his destiny. Her name was Giselle, and while she wasn't a native of the island, she had lived therefor years and she took it as her home. She lived within the villages and cities of those inhabiting Hysu'lae, and treated them as family. And using the magic that came from her race, she assisted in storming the fort town, and eventually breached the walls. Once her band had entered the city, she was confronted by Gabriel and two priests. They were there in a peaceful fashion, trying to get the warrior band to leave them be.

Instantly the two fell in love. One of the rare cases of love at first sight. But they were not allowed to be. And Giselle took her forces out of the city and to their village. Emotionally confused, she snuck back to St. Theon late that evening to meet with the diplomat again. Once she managed to catch Gabriel's attention, the two left the fort and talked in the forests of the island. They met like this every night, for weeks. The sieges on the fort began to slow as Giselle calmed her people, and Gabriel preached peace to his people. But one night, when the couple met, Giselle had something to tell her lover.. she was with child.

But Gabriel would never know of his baby boy, for a rogue band of warriors mistook Gabriel as a spy meaning harm to their village, and ambushed him. Once they knew what had happened they hid the body of the diplomat, burying him on a remote part of the island. Giselle took his disappearance as a betrayal. Thinking he had left her, she went into a vengeful depression. Using her strength to lead raid after raid against St. Theon, Giselle worked herself into an early labor. Giving birth to her son late one night, she used the last of her remaining strength to plead that her son never be told of her life, nor his fathers. And when her mouth uttered the last of her plea, she slipped away into the afterlife.

Demitri was given his fathers middle and last name, and raised as an orphan in the village. Never knowing of his parents, not even their names, he matured while being tossed from home to home. But as his sixteenth birthday came to be, he lived alone. Constructing his own home on the island and gathering his own food, the boy showed great independence. But he has softened as the island has grown, being over taken by the Pirate Queen Isabelle. Now living within a small village far south of Port Cinders, the young male struggles to unravel the mystery of his past and carve his own name into the history of this world.. and with the war raging over seas, he knows its only a matter of time until he will have to put his life on the line to defend his people.

Any changes that need to be made will be made promptly.
Hope it all works out as is though, and I'll be editing things to be more specific once I get a better grasp of the geography of Hysu'lae. :3

Hmm and the coding seems to be freaking out in the guild threads as opposed to the ordinary threads.. so I'll be playing with that as well.

state the facts

{ Name } Saga Lee
{ Age } Twenty-one
{ Gender } Femme
{ Country } Kes'sarria
{ Class } Archer
{ Level } Starter Tier
{ Occupation } Currently, Saga works as a shop girl for one of the more respected clothing distributers. It is her job to tend to the often snobbish customer's needs. She soon plans to serve her country by joining the Kes'sarrian army.
{ Religion } ---

mirror, mirror, on the wall

{ Height } 5'3"
{ Hair color } Ebony
{ Eye color } Light pink
{ Overall Appearance } True to her Kes'sarrian blood, Saga has both dark hair, ivory skin and oddly vibrant eyes. Her hair, the darkest of blacks, is short cropped, straight, and an utter mess which frames her oval face. Often times, a stray ribbon or two will make its way onto the black void, offering a bit of color. Her skin, a dainty white with underlying tones of gold and silver, isn't flawless though its appearance may show otherwise. The tint of her eyes is just short of brown. She has orbs of pink, a color not commonly seen. Wide and misleading, Saga's almond shaped eyes are often flooded with false emotion.

If Saga is ever overlooked in a crowd it is because of her petite stature rather than her looks. She isn't comely. She isn't beautiful. Saga draws attention the way a feline does- She's pretty and seemingly aloof. From lack of proper food and strict appearances to keep up, Saga borders on thin. If she could, she'd stuff her face and worry about calories the way normal girls do, but more of that, later. Her body, though not overly muscular, isn't as weak as it seems. Saga can pull her own weight, if the need should arise.

Her sense of fashion is somewhat bizarre but ultimately stylish. Under intricately designed normally black silk robes, she wears simple cotton undershirts and a pair of shorts. Any robe she wears has a long scrap of fabric that ties securely around her waist. When it is cold she wears gauzy nylons. Any other time her legs are bare of material. Shoes consists of slippers. Not only do they mold to one's foot shape but they also allow easy grip and quicken running pace.

On a side note, Saga is quite vain about appearance. She likes to experiment with different face paints when she has a minute to spare.
{ Weapon } Her weapon of choosing is a bow. It is slender in design and not very heavy. The arrows are carved out of unbendable wood and have sharp arrow heads that can penetrate flesh cleanly. Her weapon is designed to minimze pain but still inflinct serious damage.

past, present, future

{ Relationship status } Saga insists she is single though her parents say she is engaged to a wealthy lord of some sort, an arranged marriage Saga will have no part in.
{ Personality } Saga is quite the manipulator. Appearing the obedient lap-dog, Saga is hard to figure out. She is friendly without warmth. She is full of secret motives. She can tell a lie without blinking an eye, unless it is a lie that isn't worth hiding. Persuasive, Saga is sharp enough to trap people into doing her bidding. She has a quiet temper that doesn't exceed a glare and a grudge.

The good side to the rather impish girl is that she is quick to care and quick to forgive. She is fiercely protective of people who've penetrated whatever wall she may have built, her morals, and what is right and what is wrong. With a strong sense of justice, Saga wants to join the war not to defend her country but to right the wrong that has been done.
{ History } Though Saga was born the oldest, her younger brother would be the one to inherit the family business. Why? Because he was born with a third 'leg' while she was born with a chest that would one day fill out. Her parents were old fashioned and well-off, though not part of the higher upper class. She had tutors and took archery lessons. She was taught proper etiquette. Raised in such a confining society, Saga broke free when she turned 15.

She convinced her parents to allow her to go to work. They agreed on the condition that she be hired by her mother's favorite clothing designer. Her parents believed it would help her to associate herself with some of the richer men they hoped to ensnare her to. Their plan worked like a charm.

Working wasn't so hard aside from her uncaring boss and her tendencies to starve her workers when they became too ... plump. How could wearing the latest fashions and serving guests fancy teas and simple sweets be? One of their frequent customers, a fat women with a habit of choosing unflattering colors, took a fancy to Saga and so the deal was done. She consulted Saga's parents and they arranged the marriage from there. Her parent's chosen wasn't bad looking but he was incredibly dull. The good thing that came out of one of her many meets with 'Sir Dreary' was his informative droning about the war. She decided then and there she would use the skill she had perfected years ago and enlist.

By Any Other Name : Coruli Levis, originally Coruli Mauio, but I’d prefer simply Cor.

Count the Days : It’s been nineteen years already?

Skirts or Pants? : For the last time, I am a male. Stop asking. Just because I look better than you in a dress…

Where I Call Home : With a face and frame like this, isn’t it obvious? – Kes'sarria.

For A Living? : The attitude, the flare for drama, the legs – Performer.

Amateur or Expert? : Merely at the Starter Tier, but give me time.

Earn My Way : A proud member of the Aralin Theatre Troupe.

Hear My Prayers : ---

ση thε σutsιdε –

They Grow Up So Fast! : Five feet, nine inches

Natural Veil : Jet black

Window To The World : Blood red

What The Mirror Cries : I am Kes'sarrian through and through, considering my extremely dark hair and strangely-colored eyes. My hair's fairly long, reaching just above the small of my back, and is the exact color of night. Normally, I've got it tied back in a simple clip, just to make things easier. My eyes are a dark red-brown, sticking out on my pale skin. As if to draw attention away from my eyes, I have a tattoo directly in the center of my forehead- an awkward curve with a line in the middle. It means something rather important to me. No, I'm not telling you what.

As previously stated, I'm not too tall for a guy, but that's never caused me too much of a problem. I'm slender, almost willowy, which is a wonderful thing in my line of work. However, don't be deceived; I can fight better than my body says I can. My hair, combined with my misleadingly delicate body structure, and effeminate features, is what get me mistaken for a woman half the time. This can get irritating. So what if I'm androgyny personified? It's helped me out of a jam before.

Clothing-wise... well, that's depends on whether I'm on stage or off. While I'm performing, I'll be wearing anything from a garish clown's outfit to a frilly, lace dress. But I'm not quite that ostentatious in real life. Well, in my clothing choice. Typically, I'm in some dark robes, ranging black to dark gray that are punctured by hints of brightness, like yellow or cyan. Always, I have on a hooded gray cloak- it's great for all traveling and sneaking about purposes!

Rose’s Thorns : A whip that is normally twisted around my waist or my wrist in some odd attempt at fashion or subtly. What? It’s inconvenient to have to lug around some heavy weapon. It’s not like I can’t pull it out at a moments notice! … okay, I suppose it is good that I’m fast enough to avoid blows. If I'm actually trying to hurt somebody, I will reach for my wheels, but most of the time, I'm content with the suitable damage a whip can do.

– ℓσσkιηg ιη

Interested? : Single, and I’ll probably stay that way for a while. I have little interest in dealing with your emotional baggage.

By It’s Cover : My real personality? Go look somewhere else. Unless I know you particularly well, all that you are likely to run into is a clever facade, one that adapts to the situation at hand easily, but doesn't reveal it's feelings in the slightest. I treat people more like shiny baubles than humans- fascinating for a couple minutes, but after a while, you just get bored. I can be snarky and unfeeling, seemingly heartless, ignoring any attempts at companionship. Carefully observant, I see far more than I let on. And I am a very good liar. What where you expecting? I'm an actor; were I to let you, the audience, know what I was really feeling, I would be failing at my job. Cold? Maybe, but I don't care.

To be truthful, I'm most comfortable on the stage, performing in front of people, then actual one-on-one interactions. I'm an all-around bit player, able to take up any part, be it that of the romantic hero or the fool (there's a difference?) quickly. Apparently, I've got a good stage presence, able to draw a watcher's eyes into the story without much trouble. As for learning lines- no problem. I'm a fairly decent dancer (I could stand some improvement), but my singing voice is quite good. With an audience, I can slip from one uncomfortable mask to a more lax one.

Once I've gotten used to you in a personal setting, however, there's a good chance that my default attitude toward you will change. I promise, I am not plotting your demise. Probably. Okay, I'm still sarcastic, but I'm not honestly heartless. I've got a fierce protective streak for the people I care about (at the moment, that's just the members of my troupe). I do have compassion, and if I call you a friend, I'm damn well not going to leave you in a bind. Unsurprisingly, I can over-dramatize the slightest of things, but compared to most people I know, I'm the level-headed one, able to organize and reason through things with ease. I'm not easily swayed from my position, but you're welcome to try. I'd like to think I'm witty, or in the very least, have a way with words, and perhaps it's true. I have a fairly never-ending supply of patience, but if you touch any of my personal possessions, you will die. Or something fun like that. Insatiably inquisitive, I have never listened to the warning "curiosity killed the cat" And I'm still not a very open person, so questions about my past are out, unless I trust you completely. Which I probably don't. You've got a weird face. Yes, I'm a bit of a walking contradiction, but then again, aren't most people?

What These Dusty Pages Sing : If you're looking for some depressing sob-story, I'm going to have to disappoint you. I was born and raised in Lue'er, the oldest child (and one of two boys) in a large group of kids. My parents were silk merchants, and good ones at that. We weren't near nobility wealthy, but we were very well off compared to a lot of people, which I will admit I'm thankful for. As children, my five siblings and I developed a bit of a pack mentality, somehow making me the leader of the group. I'm still not clear on how that happened- possibly because even as a young child, I was the best speaker. I proved myself to be useful in negations, able to haggle and sell the toughest of products. So it was only natural, with my innate talent and my first-born status, that I would be the one to inherit the business when I was old enough.

The problem? Even at fourteen years of age, I knew that I had no intention of going into the mercantile business. It just repelled me for some reason, a flat and clear knowledge that it was wrong for me. Quite frankly, I would have been a horrible merchant, and a miserable person However, explaining that to my parents didn't exactly go over well. I was informed I was to do as my father ordered, that my feelings had absolutely no matter, and that I was to sit down and shut up. There may or may not have been some violence involved, I'm not telling you. Anyway, once that mess was over, I found my way back to my siblings, who had overheard everything. Sneaky wretches. My sister, Oria, was the one to propose the plan of my salvation, something I'd only dreamt of. I'd leave, and she'd take over the business, whether our parents liked it or not. Well, that sounded fine with me. No, better than fine: perfect. So, with as much money as I could find (read: steal with being noticed), I snuck of, without a plan, just a strong desire to leave.

I wasn't interested in joining up with the army- I'd never been a fighter- so that path was closed to me. For a while, I took up various odd jobs at stores and taverns, never staying in one place for an extended period of time. I was too curious, too restless to keep tied down. Finally, one night, tired and hungry I stumble across a theatre, majestic and old. Just looking for a place to stay, I picked the lock on the backstage door, and found myself face-to-face with a large, muscular man who looked like he could break my neck with his bare hands. I expected instant death for breaking in. Instead, I got a warm meal, a place to stay, and a job offer. The man, Jorei Aralin, owned the troupe that performed in this venue, and he was short on stagehands. It sounded like an interesting enough job, so I took it, aware that I could leave at any time. Eight years later, and I'm still here, having joined Aralin and the rest, learning the tricks of the trade. I changed my name, not desiring to be discovered in my masquerade, though I wouldn't mind seeing my siblings again. I'm one of the most versatile, if not always the best, performers there, and I'm considered one of the higher up in the troupe, if purely for length I've stayed on. Conversely, I'm also the "baby" of the group, being one of the youngest actually in the troupe. For now, this is home.

        Religion• ----

External Features

        Height• 6"2
        Hair color• Black
        Eye color• Deep Blue
Overall Appearance• Tall and well built, Fynn seems specially made for hard labor work. With his jet black hair, pale skin, and deep blue eyes he tends to look exotic to others, but he considers himself purely a citizen of Hysu'lae. He tends to wear clothes that are easy to work in. Loose and comfortable. He's most often a black, sleeveless top and white pants, accompanied by black combat boots. He has a white coat, but rarely wears it as he likes feeling the sun warming his skin. There's a bandage always wrapped around his left eye, which was lost in an unfortunate battle, but he doesn't really mind. If someone asks about it, he'll just laugh and says it gives him more character. An odd sort of accessory that he adorns quite often is a pair of golden bracelets, which one might not think suits his character but he's worn them since his days at sea and will always treasure them.
Weapon• Fynn always carriers around his special set of daggers, strapped to him by his leather black belt, easily accessible but hidden by his clothing in case of troubling circumstances.

Internal Features

        Relationship status• Single
Personality• Fynn's quite the off little character. He's easy going, and completely care free. Always a laugh to be had with him, since he's so damn hilarious. He comes off charming, charismatic and appealing. He knows all the right words and all the right buttons to push. It's always been a sort of talent he's possessed, people skills. They've gotten him out of many a tight spots.

Although with being absolutely charming, he's quite the witty fellow. Although many sea-rats like him didn't give a second thought about any education at all, Fynn found certain subjects absolutely fascinating. Such as literature, and languages. He's learned things that have helped him out in this rogue world of his that most others were oblivious to. His education has helped him in ways many would not even think of. Fynn's not a bad guy, really. He's actually a very kind, thoughtful person. But he's a rogue, an ex-pirate who still digs up old habits once in a while.

History• Fynn Clyde Dace is a mystery. Even from his first memory, all he remembers is being on a pirate ship, doing what he can to pull his weight. He doesn't know his mother, his father, his home country, or anything about him. He took his last name from the ship's captain, who was the man that practically raised him. He grew up on that ship, called the 'Death's Trail', with the crew members and the captain. He wasn't made allowances, and had to do what he could but it wasn't a bad place. He was happy.

On the contrary to popular belief, the crew of this pirate ship wasn't made of a bunch of low-life scum who didn't give a damn about anyone else but themselves. There were also merry, happy men who considered their fellow crew members to be their family and friends. As he grew to be a strapping young man, he was taught the ways of a pirate. How to pillage and plunge, fight with a pistol and cutlass, scrub the deck and spy from the crow's nest. But the one thing he had always wanted to experience was a treasure hunt. It was a long while before he was allowed this privilege, for on this ship the captain would let few come with him on the hunt for fear of mutiny. When he was fourteen, he was taken along. Nothing unusual happened on this particular treasure hunt, but to Fynn it was an important experience and one of his best memories. On that day, he received the pair of golden bracelet's he's worn ever since.

As we grew from less of a gangly boy to a man, Fynn started to find himself growing tired of this pirate life. Of course, he absolutely adorned sailing the seas everyday, but he found himself wanting to experience more in life than just pillaging towns. He wanted to live a more normal life, so he left his home, his captain and crew to the island of Hysu'lae, and fell in love instantly. Of course, being an island it's completely surrounded by the sea, so he didn't miss the joy of hearing the sound of the waves crashing about every morning when he awoke, or the smell of the salty air. At the same time, he got to meet to inhabitants of the island, learn how to live normally, with a job and home to take care of. Although he loved being a pirate, life on the island was an experience he had to partake in.

My P H Y S I C A L outlooks . . .

» Height 6'0"

» Hair color Faded cyan

» Eye color Crimson-amber

» Overall Appearance His large hands are rough from the manual labor he is accustomed to. Jaler is tall with long, wiry muscles. His light cyan-hued hair attracts much attention due to their unlikely color but Jaler is never bothered by the attention, either by his talent or appearance. He always wears his two blue belts with a topaz-like gem embedded in it. It is rumored that there is some magick in the gems that aids Jaler in his forgery and smithing. Unlike many other swordsmen, Jaler tends to dress comfortably in cotton or leather armor. Never is he seen without the worn leather gloves he uses during his work. His expression shows his confidence and how easy-going he is.

» Weapon Of course, he is a swordsman but don't be surprised if you see Jaler swing a smithing hammer in the direction of a thief every now and then. He is an experienced fighter despite his still being at the level of a starter. He is an all-out offensive fighter who attacks relentlessly, leaving no time for his opponent to catch his breath. Jaler can turn just about anything he gets his hand on into a weapon of mass destruction. Jaler's sword is called "Perseus" for its ability to reflect (some) spells. It's in mint condition and is on display at the shop.

» Personality Jaler is a bit of a perfectionist. If a spear doesn't look right you can expect him to start from scratch all over again. He is completely unapproachable when he's fixated on something and he'll never quit until he's reached his aims. Jaler is very awkward when it comes to interacting with the opposite gender (Ania doesn't qualify as a woman in his eyes, he's known her for too long as his friend's tomboyish little "sister"). Sometimes Jaler can be very irritable, especially when he is filling important orders (usually for the army). He's accustomed to the ever-constant noise of his shop and finds silence very awkward. Unlike what many people would first assume, Jaler Westerfield is a deep-thinker. He can sit and marvel (about how many layers of metal to use for that broadsword order) for hours. This is the only time he really can sit quietly...

» History Jaler practically grew up in the bazaar, by his father's caravan. The Westerfield's were good family friends with the Greene's. Jaler was always an addition to the war games of the Greene children. Since he had no siblings of his own, the young boy spent most of his time with his friends by the cottage near the woods. His parents were busy working, his mom was a nanny for some of the richer families and his father was a merchant. They lived day by day but never went cold, homeless or hungry.

When he turned eighteen, Jaler enlisted in the army with Ania's oldest brother, Ren. The two best friends had left with ideas of returning as war heroes. Reality isn't generous. Two left but only one would return. Jaler carried the burden of carrying the news to the family members left-behind. Ren was a courageous soldier. He had died in his friend's place. "It really should have been me," Jaler always said. If Ren hadn't tried to shove him out of the way, Ren wouldn't have received that fatal blow. The rest was fuzzy but Jaler might have cried. He was in a frenzy, he slaughtered those damn enemy troops. He knew it couldn't bring his friend back to life but he thought it would make him feel better...

Back in Lu'er Jaler decided to stay behind while his parents left for a small town in the country side. He would watch over those Greene kids. They were the closest he had to siblings. After what he had done to Ren, he couldn't let anything happen to them. Of course, when Ania begged for him to teach her to fight, he refused and held out for as long as it was possible. How could he let her dive head-first into her own doom? But the stubborn girl was too driven. She insisted that even if he didn't teach her she would find a way. Well, he couldn't let her dive into her own doom unprepared. Jaler took Ania as his apprentice of some sort in exchange for the delivery she does for his shop.
