So there's a "Unique Book and Gift Store" called Wildflowers about 30 minutes from where I live. It sells used books, computer hardware, CDs, and occult paraphernalia. After spending abouttwo hours in this store, I discovered that one of the pendulums a friend of mine was debating buying was giving me a weird feeling. After finding the friend a pendulum that felt more right to her, I took to playing with the thing.
The feeling of wrongness only got worse and, being the strange person I am, I bought it. Now I have an amethyst pendulum that gives me a bad feeling whenever I touch it.
I also obtained several stones. Two polished amethysts, one amethyst crystal, one very large polished bloodstone (in my opinion), two polished snowflake obsidians, and two mystery polished stones (a geologist I am not, pictures are to come tomorrow).
I keep the pendulum in one muslin and, and the stones in another.
Here are the questions:
1. What do you think about the pendulum? Should I ditch it or keep it? Any other thoughts on the pendulum?
2. What should I do with the stones, besides let them sit there and look pretty?

first thing i would do with all of them is cleanse them. this may correct the issue with the pendulum. not to mention it's always a good idea to cleanse anything that you did not make yourself, you have no idea who's energies have come in contact with it.
also each stone will have some sort of special property that it can be used for, be it healing or something else. i do not have the info at hand.
also pictures would be great, i can usually identify stones if the picture is good.

Well the amethyst pendulum might be warning you about something so i would be very aware of your life. I would probly wear them, the amethyst is also called the 'protecter stone' and it might direct you to some troble in your life.

Okay, update on things before I respond:
I had friends over recently, two of which are the ones I originally went shopping with when I bought these, one who can usually sense malevolent objects, and my boyfriend, who's the one who warded my house.
The pendulum's become pretty tame. I get nothing at all off it anymore. Just nothing. I burned some incense and saturated a muslin bag in it, then put the pendulum in there. I've not felt anything at all from it since then.
Also, though a quick use of Google and combined knowledge, we've come to the conclusion that the two mystery stones are fluorite.
Here's what I've gotten from various Internet sites about the properties of the different stones:
- Fluorite: maintains order, uplifting, induces relaxations, protects against colds. - Amethyst: aids in creative thinking, spiritual awareness, helps in healing, helps combat insomnia. - Bloodstone: aids circulation of energy, removes energy blocks, circulation of blood, increases flow of life energy, healing/power/protection. - Snowflake Obsidian: stone of purity, balances mind/body/spirit, calms/soothes, used for scrying, relieves muscle cramps, used in detoxification.
Zimmerchild: Probably a good idea, cleansing. The silver of the chain of the pendulum is tarnished, so I'm fairly sure it was previously owned...
panadas_cute: Could possibly have been trying to warn me about the panic attack I had on my graduation day... It was horrible. Also, having all this amethyst around might have caused the dream I had last night.
I was sleeping outside, and something happened to my eye. it still worked, but part of it had been clawed out by something, so it hurt to open it. I was to go in for surgery on it, and I went to see the pastor of the church I go to (when I go to church). I was panicking, and demanded to be baptized, in case I died. I think it was my subconscious trying to tell me something...

be clawed out???? thats a very very bad sign, by any chance did you notice any spiritual activity before you had your dream?? think hard it may be important.

I didn't notice anything of that sort. The day was just routine, with almost nothing out of the ordinary happening.
I'm in the middle of a bit of a trying situation right now, though. I'm waiting a few days before I do something about it, just to make sure, but I may end up doing something that I'll regret. I've been praying (which is unusual for me) for guidance, and nothing's happened yet. Personal issues that could make/break my life and my sanity and all that rot.

Thanks. It also helps to have a very supportive boyfriend. I'm somewhat over the situation, but I'll just have to wait and see...
