Within the castle walls lies a large city with many buildings and structures. The city has a high population and is highly advanced in technological aspects. Since the city is protected by the castle wall's mystical defenses, the citizens worry not of an attack.

He sat atop a roof and looked down upon those simply passing by. He watched the people of the city with a slight thought of jelousy as he watched them lead normal lives. Although such things were not ment for one in his position he would not mind being less than what he had become. Even so it seemed that he was coping with his life style rather than enjoying it. "They do not know how lucky they truly are....."

"That's how it is." A dark man, tall in stature, says as he approaches. He's dressed in a grey polo shirt and blue jeans. Walking along the roof tops has always been a hobby of this young man, and seeing as how someone else seems to have taken up this hobby sorta intrigued this one.
Then out of no where, the man started talking to himself. This young man's been there a few times before, but he still finds it odd to see other people doing it.

The day felt hotter then usal and without any wind in sight. For summer the tempitures where rissing and it didnt seam to be go down any time soon. Kazual walked around the city. She stumbled here and there as people bumped into her like she wasnt there. They seamed to have more worries on their mind, and simple certisy went out the windo. She had been walking for a while now, two days maybe three, and the sun never really let up till dark, so time was a little hard to tell in these parts. Kazual had been picked up, intearigated and dumped out in the city with out questions or reasions. She was used to that by now. The "thing" inside her made that hapen. Things she couldnt explane, even sometimes didnt want to see hapend and all because of the "thing" inside her. The "thing" had a name, but Kazual didnt like to use it often. That sourt always incuriged it to come out. Most of the time it just talked to her, and only she could hear it. While kazual was thinking to herself a man runing slamed into her leaving her off balance. She fell into a little girl, her arms comming around to brace for the fall. Kazual smacked the ground and dust with little bits and pieces of rock and dirt floo every where makeing a cloud. "I am so sorry. . .", She squeeked unsure how to handle such strange people. "Are you ok?", with a little more confident as she coughed a little and covered her face with one hand, she helped the little girl up brushing her off a little with the other. Smileing to show she ment no harm, Kazual didnt get a word. The girl didnt cry, and just ran off coughing a little from the dirt. Kazual was a little more careful keeping a tighter hold on her elven blade and the two speical daggers. She looked for a place to stay, with what little gold she had to use as payment. "I hope I can get some sort of job", Kazual spoke quietly to herself. "Oh I am sure you will. You always do", it was a soft snarl with a hint of confidence and Kazual could see a picture in her head. "shhhhhh", she told it mentaly with a finge to her lips. "I am fine so you go away." With that said, it could only shrug and let Kazual do what she had to do. "Try the next Inn", and it vanished with a quark of its uper lip.

Karma was running late and had to get to her destination quick so she decided to take the roof tops instead ot the strrets. She ran as fast as she could hoping from roof to roof and keeping mark of where she was. "I'm going to be late and I know I'm not going to be forgiven...." She said to keep herself moving at the same pace. When she finally saw the orphanage she jumped down with a flip and ran in. "I'm sorry I'm sorry I hope I'm not late I came as fast as I..." She oaused and looked at the clock to find that she was right on time. "Oh thank goodness... so where is every one?" She asked then got tackled by five little kids. All she could do was laugh at the fact she didn't hear them.

A young Anthro dragon flew above the city, his strong blue wings holding him up easily as his powerful eye's looked down on the people. "So frail, and yet they scurry about like ants, determined to accomplish things that will forever be out of their grasp." Gelu began his decent from the sky, flying in between the building in a fashion that it would be hard for a person to focus on him for more than in instant. He had formed this style of descent so that he could enter the city without being spotted, humans still didn't understand dragons, and he was not about to start problems.

The sun. Warm. The wind. Near perfect, with light city scents. Water. Not available. That's the only thing wrong with the city.
Kai sighed slightly. It was the same today as it had been for the past few days. Warm sun, beautiful wind, but no available water. She hated not being able to connect to one of her elements. Sure, she had the water in her canteen, but that wasn't nearly enough to satisfy the need for the connection.
A hand drifted up past her ear, lightly fingering the darts held in place by her hairband. The slight hum from the contact cooled her raging senses. Even though no water was around, the darts gave her a sense of security. Same to be said about her bow and arrows, along with the dagger and knife strapped to her waist. Kai liked the feeling of being prepared, but the element thing... She didn't like it.
A yawn escaped Kai's throat. A involuntary stretch of her body and arms followed. Her perch on top of a concrete building, plus the feeling of the sun, had drained some of her energy. It would be a good time to try to find a meal and bed, or maybe some stimulating conversation. Kai desperately hoped for the latter.
On her feet, and moving, the elven scout swiftly tracked her way across the roof-tops. It was quicker on top of the buildings than on the busy roads. She tried that once. Wasn't pretty. Leap to leap, building to building. Traversing the roof-tops were easy, especially since her home was in one of the oldest sections of the Elder wood.
A few roofs ahead, a little to the right as well, Kai noticed that there were two other people who made their home on the rooftops. She aimed her path to meet them. Maybe they could get rid of some the weariness of another boring day. Her chestnut hair, repositioned slightly to cover the tall-tale ears of the elven race, fluttered behind.
Reaching their roof, Kai stopped, near enough that they would know she was there, but still far enough away not to be considered rude. She remembered and old lesson back in the academy. Apparently some other races couldn't sense when another came up behind them, so it was always good to make yourself known, before a major reaction happened.

Gelu had finally spotted what he was looking for, a nice dark ally that he could dive in to and take a human disguise. Unfortunately the ally was only a block from where Kai and the two other figures were. 'Oh crap... no choice now but to go for it.' Gelu collapse his wings and went in to a free fall, hoping he was traveling fast enough that the people on the roof would only see a blue blur and be able to distinguish what it was that had vanished in to the darkness.

Taking note of the presence of an approaching woman, the man turns to face her. Examining her facial and body features, he finds something particularly “different” about her. It’s nothing blatantly obvious, for she looks like a perfectly fine individual, but there’s still something that she has that most people this young man doesn’t see everyday. It’s probably nothing.
The young man, probably of about the age of 16, has always had a thing with over thinking things. Anything really, if it slightly bothers him, he’ll ponder on the subject until his head just starts to hurt. Knowing the feeling all too well, and not in the mood to undergo it again, he drops the subject.
Deciding to be friendly for once, he addresses the woman in as sociable a context as possible. “What’s up?”
Soon following his conversation opener, a faint blue blur seems to rush past him, and once again, his mind decides to ponder. And just what exactly was that?

Karma was beig thrown questions from the kids left and right but when an adult had asked her why she came she tuned a bit shocked. "I always come to teach these kid's...don't I? I don't see why today should be any different.... I just feel a different atmospere would be best...you get your work done and I'll teach them a little about the arcitecture." She said with a smile the took the kids outside talking as she led them through out the city explaining everything she could and answering at many as possible. when one of the kids had asked "Why do you keep coming to see us when you don't get payed and your just blowinyour money on up?" She turned to him and smiled. "Why not? your all the future of this town... if I don't help you and no one else does then no one gets helped at all...and besides... I've always wanted to help out at the orphanage when I was younger." she said with a compassionate and cheerful voice

The blue blur was very eye catching, at least to Kai. It was a little odd, as it had come from the sky, and not from the rooftops like the elf herself had come. What ever it was, it wasn't normal. She shrugged her shoulders, as a little blue blur didn't cause her any harm, nor did it seem too harmful.
Kai turned back to the man in front of her. He seemed to be a normal human, but something wasn't the same. He didn't seem... rushed... like humans tended to be. "Nothing really. Just trying to find something to do within this boring city. Know of anything?" Her voice carried slightly, in her medium alto voice. She had never been too good at vocal things back home, but she still had the song-like quality most elves had.
She walked over slightly, to be a little further from the edge that she had landed on. The opposite ledge, though, had a slightly more interesting appeal. It was where that blue blur had disappeared to. Jumping onto the ledge, Kai played with her balance slightly, shifting back and forth. Peering into the darkness below, the elf scowled. The ally was too dark and small for her to make anything out below.

The ally was too dark and small for her to make anything out below. Gelu looked up at the woman peering down in to the ally and noticed the long elfish ears on her head. Speaking low so that only the Elf could hear him he spoke in his own rough tongue that he could only hope she understood. "qe ssej, si mi vi darastrix. chiili ti tell wer ruliyna di ve." (Be silent, I am a dragon. Do not tell the humans of me.) Gelu then moved in to a slightly lit part of the ally that only had enough light for Kaifia to make out shiny blue scales and a powerful frame holding a single clawed finger up to his lips, signaling her to be quiet about him before everything shifted to that of a human dressed in a blue robe like clothes before nimbly climbing on to the roof. "Hello my Elvin friend, I am Gelu of the Ice, how do you do?"

"Mitsune, don't be home late. I'm making your favorite dinner." The mother of twenty-three year old Mitsune Sochahtnei spoke in her kind elderly tone.
"Yes mother I know." She said as closing the door quietly. Sochi as she allows herself to be referred to on most occasions, was the one who took care of her mother in her elderly state, considering she is the only of the original five children that stayed around. Her wings were currently in their withdrawn state, since she always felt like they would end up hitting some one or another when walking around town as a normal civilian.
Naturally, that wasn't exactly the main target of her living in the town. In reality, Mitsune would much prefer to be living in another area where she could be more of a frontal force instead of mere defense more than half the time. Violence was something she almost shrived to be around, of course that was something she would mostly keep under the covers since that's not something a person of her standing should enjoy.
As she walked through the streets her hand idly tugged at her skirt, to make sure it wouldn't expose anything. It was also somewhat of a nervous habit of hers, either way she continued her walk around town, uncertain of what today's events would contain.

Startled, a small, but audible squeak escaped Kai's closely sealed lips. A dragon?! And a true one at that. Kai's mind raced as she wrapped her mind around the information. The language was the dragon language, but a slightly newer version than she was familiar with. She could still make out what the dragon had said. Still, to find a dragon in this boring city, and one that wasn't going around telling his true race?! Yes, they were slightly hunted, but this?
Another squeak escaped her when the dragon transformed and jumped up with them. Scrambling back, she landed flat on her butt. "Uh, fine?" Liar, liar, forest on fire, chanted her mind.
