heart If Inuyasha should marry anyone, it should be Kagome, because they seem really close (even though they dont want to admit it sometimes) and because the only other choice is Kikyou, and lets face it, SHE IS DEAD! Inuyasha deserves better than a dead girl. heart

Inuyasha should either marry Kagome or neither. My first choice is Kagome because she is his closest relationship at the moment. My second is not Kikyou, not because I am biased towards Kagome, but because there is a general consensus which says "till death do we part"; if Kikyou were truly alive and well at this given time, it would be a bit more difficult decision, but now I feel that Inuyasha and Kikyou are far along (or far gone) enough in their relationship to eventually resolve things peacefully.
Or neither because, if for some reason Kagome begins to not work for him, Kikyou is not really going to be an option... Good luck, Inuyasha! cool | ♥

Kagome, but I can see why people would say Kikyo. Kikyo was Inuyasha's first love, and he still has feelings for her, but Kagome is different. Kagome is the one that healed Inuyasha's heart from the torment and rage that Kikyo left him with after sealing him to the tree. Inuyasha and Kagome may not communicate that well, but you know they care alot about eachother, and they would do anything for one another. Kagome even decided one episode to leave Inuyasha with Kikyo because she thought it would make him happier, but she soon learned that was wrong. Inuyasha loves Kagome very much, but he still is torned up by a lost love, and Kagome loves Inuyasha, but she torned between the times. I say they should marry because they are perfect for eachother! heart

I do not see how people can compare Inuyasha's relationship to Kikyou and Inuyasha's relationship to Kagome and decide that one is better than the other; it's not how I would gauge my own relationships or other's relationships, because relationships can be so different and complex in their own right.
But as far as whom Inuyasha should marry, well, my personal opinion is Kagome. | ♥

Kagome! In the Anime and manga Kikyo aims a knife to Inuyasha's throat... and she keeps trying to kill her.... confused

♥ | Kikyou only tries to kill Inuyasha because she thought he was the one who killed her (she didn't know about Naraku). As for the knife scene...that was unnecessary, which is why it never happened in the manga. I think what the anime was trying to do with it was show that Kikyou had become more heartless after death (understandable), just to color how she would change later.
I have to agree, though. I love Inuyasha x Kagome. heart | ♥

I'd have to go with Kagome, just because she is the main character of the series and they seem to have a stronger bond. Plus Kikyo is way too serious, with the fact that she'd dead she's not a contender atleast in my opinion ninja
