What do you think about Kirby's performance in Brawl? Good? Bad? Kawaii? Poll how you feel! *and feel free to post a responce to this poll* blaugh *oh I guess the responces apply to MK and DDD's performance in the game also*

Well, It's a vast improvement from Melee. Feels like they nerfed him to near uselessness in Melee. At least now he's usable.

I used him in Melee despite the difficulties, and he was okay there. But now he's just insane. He's a good character for those who want to win and for beginners, =D.
Of the three Kirby characters I rank this way:
1. Kirby
2. Dedede
3. Meta Knight
Meta Knight is at the bottom because he is not easily usable upon first try (unless first try is against a bunch of LV1 CPUs), he requires the most skill to perfect and use, and his speed is his downfall (WAAAY too easy to fly off the edge). Dedede at second because he is very powerful and unlike all the other heavy characters, he can actually do good recovering. But #2 because most of his powerful attacks require PRECISE timing otherwise they can be easily dodged.

Hmm. I disagree with you there Kenta. True, I hate Meta Knight, but his performance was surprisingly good. I can't even beat him with Marth, who used to be my best character. He plays so well, he even became one of my mains. stare
As for Kirby, I think the only inprovement is the final smash. The rest plays just as well as in Melee, except for his dash attack, which is worse. I miss the flaming dash attack. Kirby may be my all time favorite character, but I just can't win with him in Brawl.

Ok, time for my opinion! Watch out! Lol, jk. I think Kirby did very well in Brawl in my opinion. I never got to play Melee, so I can't make a justifyed opinion but I have heard that he did better in Brawl than Melee. I think that actualy, Kirby and MK require less skill to play as. I mean, their rapid-hitting attacks make killing relatively easy, or at least for me, my sister, and my cuz. As for DDD I think he requires more skill to play as, because he is relatively slow and have mostly 1-swing attacks. He would be worth learning to use, because he is very powerfull. In all, this is how I rate Kirby, MK, and DDD. (lol kinda ripping you off Kenta)
Easiest to use:
1) Meta Knight
2) Kirby
3) Dedede
Most powerfull:
1) Dedede (I soooo regret this, lol)
2) Kirby / Meta Knight
I agree Kirby is a good choice for beginners, but I also have to say, Meta Knight isn't such a bad choice either. If you work hard in combo attacks, DDD would be your greatest asset. (I still prefer Kirby & MK over him though, lol blaugh )

Dedede I just like better because he's sort of an oxymoron. A LIGHT heavy character. It's what makes him better than Ike, and pretty much the only heavy character that anyone can use without having to time everything.
I've just had some annoyances with Meta Knight, so I don't like him.
Actually, the dash attack is a lot better. The flaming one there was downtime afterwards which could easily be used against you, whereas the Yoyo-kick can combo a lot better and has no downtime. It's also faster than the flaming attack, so you can get more people into in one swoop.
Meta Knight has the worst final smash of the trio, as it does not much if you pull it off on someone who has damage percent of 0. And then the timing has to be precise, as it's very easy to dodge. *Has never got hit by it* Kirby and Dedede's on the other hand... Kirby's can be dodged, but that timing of the dodge is pretty much the same timing of pulling Meta Knight's final smash off. So if one person misses, the other two are probably gonna get into the pot.
Dedede's is the best as it hits anyone no matter what, you can't really dodge it. So it just comes down to the course size. A big course you can get the hell away, but a small course you're screwed.

Marth used to be my top pick but when compared to Meta Knight, let alone popular Ike, he's second rank. And even though his final smash is very useful, Kirby's a little difficult for me to use (and win).

Every time I use Marth's final smash, he launches himself off of the stage. mad
I have dodged Daiou Sama's final smash on tiny stages before.
Every time I'm Kirby, my brothers turn the smash ball off.
Kenta, you may have never been hit with MK's final smash, but that's probably because whoever was using him sucked with their timing. CPU MKs almost always miss, 'cause they aren't all that smart.

It's just as easy to dodge Marth's, Ike's, etc's Final Smashes. There isn't much of a difference.
