Hello, it has come to my attention that alot of you get hacked. Quite freqently.
So, I decided to dedicate some of my time to make a Hacker Prevention Program.
So, here are some basic Anti-hacking tips.
> When making a password, it should be difficult for someone other then yourself to guess. >For example mine is 6 random digits, and 4 random letters. doing the math for that it calculates out to about 456976000000 possibilities. Good luck trying to hack me. ^^ >Change your password Frequently. >If using a Network, never leave your account logged in. >If you see your mouse moving and you're not moving it, Grab your Network cable and yank it out of your computer as soon as possible. >Erase your History and cookies frequently. >DO NOT FALL FOR FALSE SITES! Check to make sure your web browser says: "http://www.gaiaonline.com" before ever logging in. >Hide your expensive items in the footlocker when not in use. When a hacker gets into your account, their goal is to get as much stuff as possible, and get out as fast as possible. >If you're really parinoid about your stuff make a mule with crappy clothing and hide it in the footlocker of that account, and make sure the mule has an equally difficult password as your main. >Don't give people a reason to hack you. Some people have fun jacking with accounts because a person is an ********. (I was guilty of this.) >Never ever under any circumstances say your password. NEVER. Not even to your closet friends. >.<

This is quite sound advice. I thank you for the time you spend making this post. I hope it helps others. I have been saying this for years, but your post is much nicer than my rants. mrgreen
