Five thousand years ago, the planet we now call Earth, our home and origin, was visited upon by a race of aliens who call themselves the Kardesh. The Kardesh were advanced to the point where they could no longer be traced, no matter who was after them. Of course, that was then. Now, in the 27th century, the human race has found their technologically-superior visitors unbeknownst to the travelers. Of course, as is with human nature, there are some who wish to join the two races, and others who wish to conquer the aliens, though the irony in this declaration is obvious.

The spark of war is floating, and the question as to when or if it will catch is on the minds of all the members of both races. Now, as leaders race to reach the ends of their own wishes, factions are breaking in the political state, and rebels are intensifying stress. War, peace or a continued state of unrest? Who knows what the future holds?

RULES
1. There is no in-between, neutral crap. You WILL fight at least three times before your number is up.
2. Do not flame. I hate to repeat this, but it's important. And no trolling, or you're booted.
3. There is no killing without situational consent. Basically, even if you're the best sniper in the entirety of space, you can't kill someone unless there is no other foreseeable interference, such as a bystander getting in the way or the target moving behind cover. got it? and no weaseling out of getting killed, either. a meteor will not land in between you and your killer at your discretion.
4. There will be no planet-killing, no warship-destroying, and no mass-destruction of any kind without my consent. so no, you didn't just pwnz on that massive carrier with your puny rocket launcher.
5. Please, please please please PLEASE use proper grammar and spelling for at least ninety percent of your posts. in other words, keep the txt tlk to a bare, bare minimum, lest I ban it entirely.
6. When speaking OOC, please make it obvious (usual techniques: (()),{{}},[[]], etc.)
7. There is no keyword, just in case you are reading. I'm just making sure that you pay attention to the rules. Keep reading, though. The rest is important
8. Whatever you do, no matter the circumstances, do NOT god mode to get out of it. The occasional lucky grab or scrape-by is okay, but no untouchables; there will be a situation, whether created by me or your fellow RPrs, where your PC will be injured. And if you get shot say, in the leg, no, you can't run for cover. the best you could do is drop and try to counterattack. maybe have a friend help you.
9. Actually, there is a keyword. It's the last four letters in the next rule.
10. PM your profiles to me, and only me. Nobody else.
11. Nobody has perfect accuracy. Period. You won't be hitting your target every time with a lousy pistol, or even a rifle from a dozen yards. a few shots will miss.
12. Curse. It's natural in a stress-filled environment. However, anyone making every other word of their character's dialogue some form of profanity will promptly, and without warning, be banned from the RP, and all of their posts will be deleted.
13. If anyone on the blacklist is caught playing with the same character, I will warn them once. After that, if they continue to play, I will ban them from the RP. Best thing to do is not break any rules.

Kardesh Brotherhood of War:
Obviously the Kardeshian response to human disagreement, prepared to do whatever is necessary to keep the Kardeshian population alive. Have massive amounts of technology and resources from various systems, as well as more weapons than men to use them.
millions of troops.

Human Occupancy Forces:
Human faction of war, wants to attack the Kardeshians and wipe them out, and take control of the technology they have.
hundreds of thousands of troops.

Rebel Strikers:
Human group with no particular interest in war affairs, just want to live how they like and do what they want.

Peace Accordings:
Group that wants peace with the Kardeshians, to share the technology and resources available, as well as make new friends.

Kardesh make first contact with humans, and, finding them much too primitive, leave after leaving a few with the ability to build societies.

2500 B.C.E.
Troy is destroyed once again by Phaecian forces.

257 B.C.E.
Rome is established. Romulus kills Remus, etc., etc.

44 B.C.E.
Gaius Julius Caesar is stabbed to death in Pompey's Theatre, begin the Empirical era of Rome.

1 C.E.
Christ's appearance, beginning of the A.D. or C.E.

Rome is invaded by barbarians, partially destroyed. finished off a few years later.

All major religious figures die at same moment, fears of second Red December realized mid-October.

terraforming of all other planets, as well as exploration to other systems and galaxies ensue, A.S.E. reaches golden age.

note(i do a lot of these, don't I?): having more than one medkit is somewhat stupid, considering they don't get used up after 1 injury. Having more than one just means that you can heal that many more people at the same time. also, food is only necessary for snacking. it's not important to eat every few posts, or you'll get a stomach ache.
items can be traded out, but no emptying your inventory until the third page is filled.

Ships
Kardesh
IC Battleship: The IC battleship is the largest ship in existence, measuring almost two miles in length. It is the prime warfare model used by the Kardesh, despite it's poor defenses. There are hundreds of these ships in the fleet.

HK Cruiser: The HK cruiser was made to take over the defense of the IC battleships. Each one has several auto cannons that are second to only the NR4 of the human ships. However stong its defenses are, though, its offense is nearly non-existent. There are at least three of these ships to every IC.

ST Fighter: The ST fighter is a compact, weakly shielded ship with virtually no armor plating. Despite this, the Kardesh refuse to improve on it, due to the 'clunkiness' that comes with more armor. The lack of protection is barely made up for by twenty forward machine guns, AO accelerators. There are ten battalions of twenty ships each to every IC.

Human
HFS Warship: The HFS was made to counter the IC, and has done an incredible job despite shortcomings in weapon firing rate and offensive capabilities. The HFS is just over a mile long, and each one is equipped with a single, enormous Aura Ion Accelerator. There are four hundred twenty eight currently in the human fleet, with another two hundred in production.

ESC Battlecruiser: The ESC cruiser is a stealth-type made purely for sneaking inside the defensive net of HKs around any IC and taking down its defenses quickly. Each ESC is equipped with twenty 109mm cannons as well as forty autocannons, NR4s, for defense. The ESCs are two hundred feet in length, small for a cruiser so heavily armed, and have superior plating compared to the HK and even the IC.

FA Fighter: The FA fighter was developed using models for a supersonic space exploration vehicle. It was outfitted with Maedle guns and missiles, and given the best equipment in the entirety of the human race. There are fifteen battalions of twenty ships to each HFS.

Weaponry
Kardesh
Integrated Mag-Accelerator: This weapon fires an enormous spear made of materials around the hardness of adamant, and launched at speeds nearing that of light. This weapon has been almost useless, good only for destroying still targets due to its poor targeting cycle. Despite this, one of these spears has been recorded as shot through a black hole, which promptly destroyed the hole and sent several planets skittering about off their courses.

IH5 Machine Guns: Automatic machine cannons rated for defense only, except for when there is no other option or you have an incredible number of them.

AO Accelerators: This is the type of machine gun the ST fighters are equipped with. It can take any metallic object and, through a tiny magnetic accelerator, fire them at the same speed as a bullet.

Human
Aura Ion Accelerator: This is the weapon that each HFS is equipped with. It is the only offensive weapon on the HFS, but it is not to be underestimated. The Ion Accelerator gathers a huge grouping of ions from everywhere around the ship, almost like a black hole for ions only, and fires them in an invisible stream that tears apart any substance except the rarely-found Damascus.

NR4 Cannons: These are the auto cannons equipped to the ESC battlecruisers. It fires tiny bullets, barely the size of a pen tip, at ridiculous speeds, tearing into armor plating and through protective shielding like it's dough. This is the most efficient weapon in existence, due to the simplicity of making rounds and the power-saving firing mechanism.

Maedle Guns: 76cal machine guns that fire highly explosive rounds, reminiscent of the hollow-point bullets of the past. The Maedle guns are perfect in design concept in that it is truly impossible for them to jam, and flawed in reality because of the loading mechanism. The barrels of the Maedle guns are bored clockwise, rather than counterclockwise like the NR4s. This is because the Maedle guns can be used as long-range snipers in space.

Infantry Weapons
Guns: Most guns are upgraded models of older ones, there are no lasers or plasma rifles.

Hand to Hand and Close Combat: Any type of close range weapons, from swords to pistols, are allowed. Swords can be made from any type of material. (PM me about swords made from Damascus)


note: All rebel ships are stolen or copied from Kardesh and human arsenals. They are weaker, but can have any configuration of weapons. There are only cruiser and fighter class ships, no ICs or HFSs.

Bio: grew up with a lousy father and no mother, played chess with a computer set to maximum difficulty for the greater part of his life, as well as read several war records and the like, developing enough strategy and mental prowress to defeat any and all opponents at a game called war(like risk, but with actual holographic battles instead). Became head of the Kardeshian Brotherhood of War at age sixteen, led the same ever since.

Bio: after joining the military at 16, Haushou became captain of a small squad that was sent on hundreds of missions to try and wipe out the rebels, all of which failed. After several hundred documents later, he transferred to the navy and became an admiral grade two at age 39.

Personality: seductively deceptive, deadly and scheming.
Bio: Leader of the rebels, her father started the resistance when pressure from the then-corrupt HOF made it hard to live on any of the planets not in NL-132. When her father died of a heart attack, Keirea took his place at age 18 and instantly put out any rumors of trouble with a female leader. She has made it incredibly easy for the rebels to hide, contact one another, and even insert themselves directly into the military and navy to sabotage any sweeps that might even go near the hiding place that the main concentration found.
