AU's are pretty popular in fanfiction, and something I myself enjoy. So, I'm wondering, if Taang were to take place in an alternate universe, what would it be like?
Bascially, just discuss any Taang related AU situations. And it doesn't even have to be a completely different setting - maybe just a twist in Avatar's timeline. =3

I think I'd like to see how things would work out if Toph and Aang had met each other under different cirumstances. Like... if there was no war, but Toph was still very sheltered and Aang was still searching for a teacher, How would he convince her to help him?

A long time ago, I was actually planning on making a Taang AU story where Toph is the new kid and Aang has to be her lab partner. It was supposed to be like an AU trilogy thing, with the first one being Taang, then Zutara, last Sukka. The events are kinda supposed to tie in together at some point. I never really got around to making it... sweatdrop
Also, I like your situation, rachaella22, I'd love to see how that would all unfold.

I see high school too but i also imagine other elements besides bending w/ it too.
