JG g36c. the gearboxes are comparatively comparable in their m16 guns, and that mp5 is a little to expensive in my opinion. go with the base mp5, the galaxy mp5k, or the g36c, depending on the size of gun you want, (medium, small, larger)

First i would suggest an echo 1, 2nd generation or higher. Its a little more expensive but totally worth it. Better internals and a 30 day factory warranty. And Mp5 is one of the best guns they make. My friend has one. We cronoed it in at 394fps with a nice rate of fire. And with the metal body the gun is worth the money and more. Just make sure to get the one with the full stock. If you dont, you are going to need a lot of mini batts because the gun drains them like no other.

Lets put it this way, the barrel is shorter than you finger. It actually isn't that great of a gun period. I stripped it down for a friend after his piston broke, not stripped, a large chunk of it blew out. So Ive had bad experiences with them.

You_wouldnt_understand First i would suggest an echo 1, 2nd generation or higher. Its a little more expensive but totally worth it. Better internals please elaborate, i have yet to see any solid difference in the internals whatsoever. also they make 2 versions of the mp5, the normal 90$ version, and the metal taticool version for 70$ more. your call if its worth almost double the price. of course if its 5$ difference for the echo 1 version go for it, but on many guns its a 30% or so increase, like on the g36c.

Have you ever compared an echo 1 and a jg gearbox? Look at them closely they have diffrent parts, if you dont believe me talk to one of the sales reps at Echo 1. And Im talking about the MP5-j RIS. The normal mp5 shoots 350.

"What is JG or GB or Echo1? JG stands for Jing Gong, which is actually Chinese for Golden Bow; hence GB. Also, Echo 1 is the same as GB or JG, they are OEM Jing Gong airsoft AEG guns. All these different names for the same airsoft manufacturer is confusing. Hopefully, this has helped clairfy the confusion." http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=2109&osCsid=a44625bec31ec95540f1021f3b033b10airsoft gi also lists it the same, giving it the same 9.

Look I dont know about you but I work on gearboxs. Ive had a v2 gearbox from a jg mp5 and an echo 1 m16dmr opened at the same time. The jg had a diffrent piston, spring guide, and gears and not to mention enough grease for three gearboxs. Also your link is dead. I know they are the same manufactors, also they come from the same factory. But they are rated on diffrent specs allowing jg to be cheaper by using cheaper parts.

Shugotenshi47 POPTO IS TO POPTART lemme help this along-- Which of these guns is the lightest? MP5 of course but you have the shortest mag capacity and range I would rather get the 614 See right now im using a D-boys SPR RIS but its just so heavy. Now if i bought the 614 it would be an easy switch cause i already have m16 clips and accessories. But i also really do like the tactical capability of the mp5. Plus most of my games are CQB.

Well I wouldnt suggest the 614 for cqb, we had one and it shoot 408fps. Now around hear thats not allowed for cqb or cqc because of the meds. I would suggest any m4 variant if you already have the mags and such. I personally like the para version with the side folding stock.

And It will be lighter than your spr.
