have u ever had an awsome prop u steal from backstage? i've had 2! when i was jan in grease, me and my rodger (johnny) kept stealing the twinkies 4laugh !then in beauty and the creep, we had these huge blow up hammers that rocked my socks!!!

biggrin mine was a mallet. it was pretty cool, so during the strike at the end, it "slipped" into my backpack. I don't think anyone found out, cause the director asked if anyone had picked it up, and, of course, no one would claim to it! so now it's awesome! xd

Prop stealing rocks!! As long as your not the prop mistress. Than it sucks. All the stupid cheerleaders and their god-damn pompoms!! So pompoms are my least favorite props, but I think holding a fake meat cleaver might be fun. twisted

I've never had props worth stealing, though there were bits of costumes...
In Seven Brides, we had some neat props that we couldn't get away with if we tried. Though someone might have tried to steal the furry thing (that looked like animals, and was apparently made of real fur) that Adam trades in the first-ish scene. I was a suitor. I wanted to steal my bow-tie and suspenders. They were awesome.

I was propmaster along with stage manager for a show with a terrible amount of props that all had to be gathered up. I spent an extra two hours after every show tracking them down and then stooring them until the next day. stare living hell...

Oh...em...gee...I used to LOOVVEEE to steal props! Until, I became the effing prop mistress during a show that had A LOT of props. Then it was AWFUL. It was NOT cool to have people steal the props. I haven't taken a prop since.

When I was in Grease my favorite prop was a car antena! xp Woot! It was awsome! I was Roger, and when the other T-Birds (as they're called in the movie) were waiting for me in a fight. They had stuff like a metle pipe, a bat, and even a gun! But here I come from back-stage! "Alright! Where the hell are they?!" I'm waving my antena around and ready for the fite of my life! rofl It was SO fun! I want one now! ^-^

I can't say I've ever stolen a prop that I remember. This year, the play director was really strict, so if anything was stolen, everyone got yelled at. Before that...oh yeah! I did steal a cow once from a play a long tme ago. But it was also given to me at the same time. Hard to explain.
